For us; Forever (fandom of Everglow), it's a big thing, because they were on hiatus for almost two years. And it's a big shame, because in 2019/2020 were so big, they even "fought" against ITZY for 4th gen lead girl group. Few facts: Choreography for "First" did bb trippin - they did choreos for ATEEZ. "LA DI DA" was selected by Billboard as the best K-Pop song of 2020 (yeah, same year were released Dynamite from BTS, Wannabe from ITZY, or I Can't Stop Me from Twice, but song from Everglow was selected as a top track).
They fought more then just Itzy. At that point, 2019-2021, they made up the holy trinity of the 4th Gen, along with Itzy and (G)-Idle. That 2 year hiatus after Pirate was shocking cause they were literally big.

(G)I-DLE were always in other sort of league with their music (actually, according a numbers (views, sales, discography,.MV's, etc.), they're the most succesful among all 4th gen groups - even than aespa), but for ordinary audience, it was between ITZY and Everglow. Then First comes out and from music point, it was fantastic, but also decline of their popularity in S. Korea (which was in peak during Adios - DUN DUN era). Then came aespa, Everglow had two hiatus with releasing only Pirate and that was it.

So with ADIOS, DUN DUN, they climbed up in Korean's popularity, meantime LA DI DA and First was success outside. But worldwide fame is uselless if you don't do international concerts - COVID came, planned concerts were cancelled, Pirate wasn't title song for mainstream (but from personaly view, I think is very good) and two hiatuses burned lot of casual fans.
I am so excited for their upcoming comeback with Zombie. The teaser pictures of them all in white have me in a chokehold. La di da is my favorite song of theirs and honestly one of the best kpop songs ever. It just has everything I love. I dont think I will ever get tired of that song.

I did the meet and greet after their concert in Louisville last Nov. When we went through and high fived the group each one looked us in the eyes and said hi.. Aisha (pronounced Ah-Sha) was last in line and yes, she looked me right in the eyes, in person, and said hi while giving a high five!! Onda is my bias and I got to get an individual Polaroid with her.

I really wish their company did a decent job promoting them. They are sooooo good and had such good momentum when they debuted but their company has FUMBLED their career big time. The girls and fans deserve so much better - they have the potential to be huge ugh so frustrating
