I am glad I came across your channel. I have done scuba dive twice and loved the experience. It is a whole new world of experience that only a few people gets to explore and appreciate. Very inspiring!
I would recommend that Everyone that is able to try scuba diving, it's a gas. Been diving since 1986, now it's all about technical diving for me, starts off with decompression diving at 100 ft, to 150 ft, to 180 ft then deeper to 300 ft on trimix, wreck penetration to cave diving, it's certainly an interesting hobby.
@@markgiltner7358 definitely when you get a chance you should come visit on the Gili islands some great spots for tech diving. Walls mainly some spots with amazing marine life (sharks) on them. Thanks for the support on my channel appreciate it.
You have so many awesome shots on your Instagram, but I couldn't find these. Besides just a cool difference between the two types of divers, I also love the juxtaposition of a brutish masculine guy meeting almost a mermaid-like female in the water. Just wow.... could be a great painting on the wall!!
Definitelly DO IT. One of the best things in lifetime. I've made my training at Malta last year, and it was just incredible. Short clips at my channel if You like to see my first "touchdown" ;)
Manta Dive Gili trawangan resort. I know that place i come somanytimes, very very recomended place for learning diving & resort. All people there very helpfull. Send my best regards from Reza Jakarta...😍 Indonesia.
Chasing Shots I'm a wimp😊 but in water the cold becomes your friend. It's addictive and every half degree rise in water temperature in the spring is regretted. I am looking around for a course in freediving in Switzerland, because if I can swim my kilometers below six degrees, I need something new. Freediving has always fascinated me.
Amazing video!!! Watched it a few times already. Where can we find the pictures? Would love to have a good resolution for a computer screen background! :)
Ho Jeff I am currently reconstructing my website. I usually sell prints but I will see if I can create a section for desktop backgrounds. Website will be live soon but will keep you up to date. Also can have a look at my Instagram @alfredminnaarphotography I will probably announce it there first plus I have a big selection of diver pictures on there that you may also like. 🙂
Then do it. I bought a cheap mask and snorkel for borderline nothing and whent diving. No suit, no fins and no belt. I got down well under 10m and saw allot of nice fish and areas. Just do it, but bring a friend
DO NOT CRY! XD as Sindre Eide say. Getting into freedive is WERY ceap you gust get masck snorkel and fin at the discaunt for less than like 25$ (you also need then sea or a lake or a river or a pool of course XD. No knowleage is required no certification ecc. just commonsense. the biggest obstacle is to lern how to comprnsate ears but is not so hard… also there are courses and certification you can have if you like just like tecnical/scuba diving. I actually started diving freedive like that and then I got deeper and deeper into diving XD and now I am professional commercial diver ;). Just DO NOT get into scuba or worst tecnical on your own or you WILL get hurt possibly wery WERY badly too. it is also wery exspensive. But freedive is mostly ceap and safe and you will get better and better as you do it ;). P.S. to all free divers fellow out there: I am not sayng that HIG LEVEL free it is esy. infact it is just as hard complex and dangerous as tecnical/scuba diving (in different ways) and you DO NEED to know what you are doing and have certifications , teachers, gear ecc. but Lyz Bb you are not interested in hig level stuff for now dont you? :)
Hi Mahesh it depends on the water temperature. Sometimes if the water is really hot then I will go just with swim shorts and rash vests. If I am afraid of getting cold or I will stay a long time then I will wear a wetsuit.
wetsuit and drysuit, not swimsuit even in temperate and tropical climates, there is something called thermocline, the deeper you dive, the colder it gets
You also realize that this is just a photo shoot right? I don’t think she’s doing it to play the star, it’s for the effect in the photos. Also she IS doing something exceptional. Free diving is such a cool thing to be able to do. I’d kill to have the experience she has with holding her breath for so long. I also wish I had that much experience in scuba diving
Beautiful image!! I feel so clumsy as a scuba diver when I see the finesse and elegance of a free diver. “Your lightest touch commands obedience “...
I love how it looks like two aliens meeting each other
That's the idea two different world but still the same.

I‘m only an ice swimmer, but i love the art of free diving. Great video.
If you can swim in Ice then you can do Freediving! I just went to Russia last winter for some ice diving. Was insane.

Can you name the first track for me pls? (Music)
This is where I got the track, hope it helps. paramusical.com/tracks/bigger-than-life/ Song name is "Rocket".
Tech diver giving the illusion they are deep. Photographer is on regular scuba 🤣
It was not really for the depth just for the photo. Shallow snow get more shots and better light. That was the idea anyway.
what dive school is this?
This is Manta Dive Gili T @mantadivegilit on Gili Trawangan. Awesome spot amazing people.

What depth?
So we shot his shallow for better light and to make it easier for the freediver around 8 to 10m 🙂

Free diver meets Tech Diver not Tech Diving 🤦🏽♂️🤣
😁👌
maybe one day they get fused together and give birth to technical freediving xD

the diver (the blonde) you have to put on your belt only when you have your fins, stop playing that star, you do nothing exceptional !!!
