Awesome!
I enjoyed the discussion!
I have my copy - and I can’t wait to dig in.
great interview and conversation between these 2 brothers. Anytime these brothers speak, it's always a learning experience for me...Keep up the good work fellas.
Looking forward to learning more
This was an amazing interview 👏🏽
i enjoyed the discussion...i only hoped to hear more actual dates concerning the evolution of Christianity in African...for example: the concepts in judaism and christianity were embedded in african peoples before any foreign invasions....i.e. the idea that God oversees both the living and the dead...this resurrection concept was in place long before white or asian folk entered world history...good discussion
The distinctly Christian view of the intercession of the saints in heaven on our behalf grows out of a 2nd Temple Jewish worldview, antecedents of it can be seen in the Deutocanonical books. These books, like 1st Enoch, were very important Scriptures for Jewish sects in both Asia (with the Esseenes) and Africa (the Falasha of Ethiopia). The early Gentile Church adopted the canon of the local Jewish communities they grew out of, that's why the Ethiopian OT canon has more books in it than any other (with a Syriacs and Slavs having there own unique books).
I hope this was helpful and interesting! Lol

Philip the “Evangelist” from Acts 8 was not the Philip who was an “Apostle” in John 14 correct? Referring to 29:25 minute mark
Studying early African Christianity is part of the reason I'm converting to Eastern Orthodoxy!
what's the key difference for you?
@@drkrobinson there are many! But the main one is, unlike the Western Church (Catholic or Protestant) they didn't change. They still hold to the Apostle's teachings.
@@DaCaldwell but before the apostles creed at the council of nicea, those african malekite egyptians held unto the principles and values that went into the making of Christianity
@@drkrobinson the Apostle's Creed until like the 5th century, if I'm not mistaken. Nah, what I'm referring to is the distinctly Christian practices and dogma that grew out of the late 2nd Temple Jewish followers of Jesus, and that was later clarified by the early Church Fathers and councils.
Should we use the word "christianity" or call ourselves people of the way or messianics or people who believe Yeshua (Jesus)is the messiah?
I personally do not call myself a Christian, I prefer to identify as a God fearing man, a believer, a follower of the Way, and a follower of Yeshua or Jesus. It really depends who I am talking to.
Altho' many disagree the original hebrews in israel was part of continent of Africa before suez canal sweeped thru, as such we need to look at their perspective on Yeshua. In short, the original hebrews (israelites, jews) were africans.
You lost me at Latin-x
Can you clarify for me. I simply just want to understand if there is something I am missing and not educated about. Shalom Aleichem
