How to fix the Melt LV bag

There’s this “melting “problem with some of the LV’s Bag. The leather tend to get dirty and sticky as time goes on. What we do to solve this problem is that we will clean all the melted material and repaint the edge & surface of the leather.

LV will fox melted inking for free if it happens within the first couple of years. This bag looks like it’s been ridden hard and put away wet, though 😩

What did you use to get rid of melted inking? I got some of those inking transfered onto my top that I want to get off.
