      There is no heaven. You believe in fairy tales with no proof and reject science, which has a high burden of proof. You'll want those harvard trained doctors to preform your surgeries when you need them because you're all a bunch of f*cking hypocrites; you won't be turning to these fake doctors of "theology". Your body knows there's no afterlife, that's why you fear death and try to survive as long as you can. There not being an afterlife is nothing to fear. You know what it feels like to not exist, we all didn't exist before we existed. Death is EXACTLY like that; like sleeping but not dreaming. The church just wants your money and Alisa just wants youtube views, ad revenue and for a group of insane, like-minded people to reconfirm the lies her parents filled her head with.

I tell him both sides are evil and until we repent as a nation and put Jesus Christ into our leaders it is going to fall. As long as we keep dividing and not uniting it fails. Not saying there aren’t millions of people trying to unite things but at this point all I can continue today is be the light as much as I can and repent for my sins and continue to grow. Everyone keep praying and when evils comes before us in any form we be the light that destroys it. Praise God that we know the truth and we are His!!!

      However he works, and what ever he does, is restricted only by God. We, as Christians, need to put on our armor, and pray for discernment, in order to stand against everything he throws at us.

      I 100% agree... The Word of GOD also says their sin manifest in different ways
      1. The Sin of Witchcraft
      2. The Sin of sexually immorality
      3. Sin of Idolatry
      4. Proverbs 16 :19 false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
      The problem with American Christians is, the will place the Flag and their revisionist history above the Word Of GOD.
      You are also correct, Its not about skin, it's about culture... just as Israel and Samaritans had differences. European Culture put Wester African Culture in bondage, and try to justify their sin by using the Bible.

      It is ridiculous. Voddie is right, where are the black people adopting black children? Who cares the color of their skin, any loving parents are better than a child left to sit in an orphanage or a bad home situation. My in-laws and their church adopted several siblings out of a very broken family. There should be no judgement on anyone willing to accept a child who is not theirs into their homes. Put your money where your mouth is before you cast stones.

    • @jordanjtbraun

      "The 60's scoop" is something that happened here in Canada, and it clearly was "colonization by adoption", where children where forcefully taken from loving homes to be adopted into "white" families so that their indigenous culture could be taken from them. So, it is a thing.
      I am not sure why, if it is true, that black families do not adopt as much as white families. That is worth looking into. But it does little to undermine the concept of "colonization by adoption". It is a real strategy used by numerous governments to help eliminate the "native" problem.

      @@jordanjtbraun it's possible that finances are an impediment. Black people tend to be poorer. Also, it'd be interesting to look at informal adoptions. Africans for instance, tend not to adopt formally but will raise the children of their relatives.

    This has been a problem for decades. Church folks I have known have been more interested in securing a good seat in the afterlife and in praying for prosperity than in dealing with corruption of education and its consequences. When you see how little compassion there is in church congregations for their own congregants' suffering (unemployment, isolation, need for social capital, etc.) you can see that the congregation has faith in Church, not in Jesus.

      Believe it or not, the Bible foretold that many today would "be lovers of themselves ... boastful, proud, abusive ... ungrateful ... without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited." (2 Timothy 3:1-4)
      That's why such blatant hypocrisy is all too common nowadays.

    QUESTION: Having watched many videos on this topic and seen this ideology taking hold everywhere including the church. What can we do besides just continue to talk about this? What actions should we be actively doing to help stop this and make other christians aware of its danger.

    • @2timothy23
      @2timothy23 3 года назад +14

      1) If you see it creeping into your church (in terms of maybe leadership promoting certain teachers or books), go to your pastor/elder with an open Bible and compare their ideology (know something about it and have some background) to the Word of God. This is the crux of 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. If you get push back, you need to then ask if they believe the God-breathed, sufficient Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17) over worldly philosophies promoted by sinful men (which Colossians 2:8 speaks against).
      2) Warn individual believers that are falling for this in the same way. Go to scripture to let them see what the Bible says about these subjects. Show them that Acts 17:26 says God has made of one blood all nations of men; therefore there are no true "races" because we're all made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Show them that partiality is spoken against in James 2:4-9 and hatred in 1 John 3:15, which is the crux of "racism," therefore it should never be in the church. Show them the oneness we all have in Christ according to Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:11, Ephesians 4:4-6, and 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. Let your Bible be your foundation for refuting these things.
      3) Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We must never underestimate our prayers to God. And don't be discouraged if your warnings initially go unheeded because God can change their minds.
      4) Keep studying/searching the scriptures yourself to make sure you know what is true (Acts 17:11, 2 Timothy 2:15). You can't speak against anything if you don't know what God says about it. And you can't teach others (particularly among Christian family and friends) if you don't know what the whole counsel of God says.
      5) Don't be afraid to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) whenever you can. Whether it is Bible study, social media, etc. Many Christians are ignorant about this threat because they veil it in Biblical language, therefore it may sound attractive and legitimate, when it isn't.
      6) Finally, and most importantly, preach the gospel we're sent to do according to Romans 10:14-17. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16) and only salvation in Christ will make someone a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17). We have to trust the Holy Spirit will change the hearts of sinners, and many people in the church advocating these things may just show that they're not truly saved. You can't know that for sure, but if a professed Christian is pushing back against scripture to show how dangerous these ideologies are, then it tells me what they truly think of God. You can't say you love God but hate His Word enough to continually argue against it. It may be time to go back to the gospel.
      Those are some of the things that can be done. I'm sure there are a lot of other actions we can take as Christians, but those are the first things that popped into my head. God bless.

      Being honest about history is not dangerous

    • @2timothy23
      @2timothy23 3 года назад +12

      @@janellegrace5815 Since that is such a vague statement, I'm not sure how to address it specifically, so I can only go by what I think you're insinuating. Examining history is fine, but basing every situation on past sins is not Biblical. And then ascribing guilt for those past sins based on how much melanin someone has in their skin (skin color) is also not correct. Sin is the transgression of the law according to 1 John 3:4; no one's melanin count is the transgression of the law. In addition, Deuteronomy 24:16 and Ezekiel 18:19-20 makes clear the sins of the fathers are not to be put upon the children.
      And today, many wrongs of history have been made right. When people want to bring things up to make it seem like it's fifty or a hundred years ago, it is a false narrative. And as Christians, if we have pent up unforgiveness towards others, it violates Ephesians 4:32 and Colossians 3:13. In fact, Jesus' words on forgiveness should make us all pause before we start making accusations (Matthew 6:14-15). The danger comes from trying to sow discord among brethren based on unbiblical ideologies (which Colossians 2:8 warns against), and this discord is something that God hates (read the end of Proverbs 6:19).

      The current racialist movements (like those pushed by BLM, Kendi, D'Angelo, etc...) are the cause of systemic racism in our moment in history.
      They're justifying bad behavior today with arguments that amount to a tribal blood feud. "Because your presumed ancestors sinned against my presumed ancestors, I'm going to sin against you and it's NECESSARY to make me whole as a person."

    I haven't seen a lot of Voddie's videos yet, but am seeking to understand him as I believe he is truthful and objective in his views, and wants others to see things objectively and through the eyes of faith rather than narrative. I am also adopted, and was raised by parents of different ethnicities than mine. I grew up not really seeing race in the same way some do - I appreciated different cultures instead (my parents weren't even of the same ethnicity as one another). These two imperfect humans chose to take myself and my brother into their home and raise us to the best of their ability, not because they were racially motivated to do so...but because they felt that we needed parents. I will ALWAYS be grateful to them for making that choice, because it gave me the chance to experience unconditional love and support. They wanted to raise children and to provide a good home for them, that's all. There was no ulterior motive to them adopting me, and to suggest otherwise is just not reality and quite honestly, despicable in my eyes. When Voddie expressed his disdain for people accusing adoptive parents of having ulterior motives in their choice - and looking at the child as a "tool" to that end...it brought tears to my eyes. Notice I had not mentioned what my ethnicity is, nor my parents' ethnicity other than being different from mine, and theirs being different from one another? That's because none of that should really matter. They were 2 people who wanted to bring a child/children into their home to love and provide for them - who in their eyes, did not have the privilege of having parents. Yes, Voddie is correct...it IS a privilege to be adopted, but that "privilege" has nothing to do with ethnicity. Love in its true form has absolutely nothing to do with ethnicity. I've seen many parents adopt children of different ethnicity than their own, but the love is the same, the reason to adopt is the same. They love me, and I love them....period. As an adult I found I have a wide variety of biological ethnicities within my DNA. The only difference that knowledge made to me is appreciating even more cultures...I am still the same person I was before I knew any of that. I was privileged (not because of the melanin in my skin as Voddie says) to have been chosen and raised by loving parents, who also taught me to embrace different cultures and that people are all part of the same family...humanity. In my view, our difference in ethnicity enhanced my life and view of the world. It's because of that foundation and appreciation of different cultures that I've had friends from many different ethnicities my entire life, and I'm better for it.
