I was so excited when I saw Gavin in the Rewind. I was really hoping for a behind the scenes, I'm so glad they made one.
I think they kept mentioning this on the podcast, but couldn't mention it because the Rewind was still in production.
These guys probably did the least filming out of all the Rewind guests, but got the most amount of frames in the video :P

WTF?! Burnie was clearly at the shoot! Why wasn't he in the rewind?! What does RUclips have against Rooster Teeth?
rooster teeth and burnie arent viral where as gavin and dan kinda are...
Rooster Teeth have ways to view their videos outside of RUclips, while SMG mainly have their content shown through here.
They can't possibly put every single famous RUclipsr in the video, so they have to make a selection.
SMG also shows their videos on the RT website.
I've always said that RT seems really independent of all of RUclips's events and things. One of the reasons they're one of my favourite channels is that they're so independent and their content is actually things that THEY want to do, not like corporatised things you get from Pewdiepie and Smosh these days.

I mean, we directly associate Micheal with being impulsive and hot tempered, and Gavin being an idiot who always fails at video games. if we're going to accuse Smosh and PewDiePie of running off the same old fumes then we kind of become hypocrites if you think about it. But hey, ultimately everyone is just doing the stuff that got them so popular in the first place. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. and if Smosh's stuff is broken, then it sure as heck ain't showing it considering their subscriber count.
and to be fair, can you really BLAME Smosh for having such low quality stuff? I mean, think of their weekly routine. It's a new Smosh skit every week, lots of content for their second channel including Ian is Bored and Lunchtime, Shutup Cartoons and Smoshgames every wednesday and friday for them. that means they have to spend pretty much every second of their day trying to be funny, and let's be honest, the greatest comedian in the world would be bad at that.
***** That some idiot makes people laugh and happy. Sometimes when I'm in a bad mood, I watch Pewdiepie and he makes me laugh. That one video will make my entire day. And about the stupidity part, Pewdiepie is just being him. He has a unique personality so I don't know why him being a human makes you say stuff like this before. And I personally like his screams. The screaming shows more of how human he is. He screams of fear, joy, rage, etc and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sure, call me a "fanboy" or whatever, I'm just mad because people like you hate on Pewdiepie for being him... not even for being him... for just living. That just makes me sick.

i know i sound like a mom, but honestly i am so proud of gavin (and dan of course). he worked so hard for all of this and went through so much hardship and loneliness and now through blood sweat and tears he has become one of the most successful and happy people i have ever seen and hope to meet. he inspires me to get up sometimes and try my hardest and from where he came from to where he is now, i hope i can have a life as fulfilling as he does. congratulations

It's amazing how SMG has become an entity by itself and not just another Roosterteeth side product. Congrats Gavin and Dan on all of your success so far.
It isn't an RT side product though, it never has been...hell it wasn't even part of RT until about less than a year ago, when Gavin blew up the car.

The reason that nothing from RT was there is because RT is a separate company and both started and rose to fame before youtube even existed whereas The Slow Mo Guys channel became famous through youtube.

Gavin is by no means the most successful.... Any of the original crew for RvB and therefore Roosterteeth are probably more successful. Burnie was CEO for ages before Matt took over and Geoff moved onto Achievement Hunter (Let's Play).
Gavin is successful but by NO means close to being the "most". You do not measure a man by his success, but by his personality.
