The Vrykul are more like Norwegians since they're the ones who hold the most ancient DNA in Europe today. In other words they have the most amount of scandinavian hunter-gatherer DNA and indo-european DNA compared to their neolithic farmer DNA. Denmark and Sweden have more neolithic farmer DNA because they liked to farm alot more than the Norwegians. Farming is not gigachad. A diet made up of moose, reindeer, and fish is the gigachad way.
Nah. Denmark conquered the entire north. we owned Sweden and Norway back in the day. you just can't compete with that.
@@thisguyhd6591 Nah the genetics and material culture we find archeologically don't lie, swedes and danes became neolithic farmers, mixing with too many southern farmers leaving norwegians with the purest DNA and culture.
And Denmark has never conquered Sweden or Norway, the only leadership Denmark has ever had over these regions has been obtained diplomatically, and they did it in a not very gigachad way since danish kings only gained support from the masses by allowing religious freedom, something norwegian kings often didn't do, so thats a free way of getting the support of pagans. According to the sagas, the danes feared the norwegians for their superior navy. Norway supposedly never lost a single battle at sea against it's neighbors. Norway has also never been successfully invaded in all it's history, other than by the nazis in recent history, and even then it was the longest invasion by landmass in modern warfare history, only Russia taking longer because of it's size.
So no, Denmark has never conquered the north, I don't get why you guys are so proud of being politicians in early history while the rest of us practiced more natural individualism. Being on the continent and acting like a continental kingdom is not gigachad.

@@MB-ft5kv it's Remolade. it's a Danish thing only. yes, liver pâté with Remolade. it''s quite good, you can warm the liver pâté in the microwave too. I eat that sometimes, most Danish people do. it's a lunch thing tho, not a dinner thing.
