Lordy fell due to this decision because thats when he let his obsession consume him. Strath is literally nessled between a mountain with 1 main exit. Just set up camp outside, save who you can wait for the rest of the Silverhand to arrive then go in and bust heads when you know youve done all you can. He was 100% wrong and acted foolishly when other options should have been considered. Cant tell me he made the right choice while also saying he was being mind controlled right after doofus. If Arthas can solo clear Strath with NPCS im sure the Silverhand Paladins could have contained the situation pretty easily.

Arthas was right, up until he took frostmourne.

Naw bro Strath is nessled in a mountain with 1 main exit. Other options could hvae easily been made available if Arthas just listened to Uther. They could have easily contained the city and helped people who werent yet infected get out sately. Add in the fact that Jaina also would have been there as well. This was a stubborn reactive choice he made on his own isolating Jaina and Uther which leads him to the frostmourne. This choice was the wrong move because it was the first major steeping stone to Frostmourne.
