they keep removing the crates because the used to be a decent source of gold, do your WOD garrison missions on CD just for the crates, open the crates for a bit of gold just for opening the box, plus vendor trash. They keep taking them away then bringing them back and changing the loot table from opening them. The loot table for them used to wild where lots of BOEs from previous expansions would drop from them, I got the OG teebu's longsword from the salvage crate.
Thanks Crendor, I've been enjoying the Pointless top 10's so much that I've actually been persuaded to dip back into Wow after about 10 years away from it. Rolled a goblin hunter and having a blast so far. Keep 'em coming!
I've always kinda accepted crocolisks as a fantasy animal species that was there to look cool, but I've just now realized that I've never seen a regular-looking four-legged gator/crocodile in WoW
Deadmire from Dustwallow Marsh was my pet for many years. When they changed how pets work and re-did the families and their spells, he was no longer as tough as he once was.
Love this so very much! When I first started playing WoW, during the BC era, my first character was a troll hunter, and, like you Crendor I wanted a 'different' pet - so while I was doing the Kron's amulet Quest (this is not in retail any more, but is still in classic) I tamed my Crock and named him Fang. He still is one of my most memorable pets. I love that this list started and ended with baby Crocolisks. While in Shattrath though I feel that an honorable mention should have gone to the daily quest "Crocolisks in the City" - and the resulting FOUR pets, their names are awesome, and I have a memory of getting all four of these guys back in the day [Chuck, Muckbreath, Snarly, & Toothy] It took me FOREVER to get the last one, but I was so very happy then I did. I also personally like Rotgrip - the optional boss in Maraudon - many a great memory of jumping down into the water to get that one with my friends.
When I played my hunter more, I saw a boatload of very cool corrupted beasts that were normal once tamed. I do wish they would let us keep the corrupted effect.
One thing I think we all need to appreciate more is how World of Warcraft actually has real virtual ecosystems with apex predators in the water and on land, megafauna, and small animals. This is what makes World of Warcraft a world first, game second. The fact that you can go into marshlands and tropical waters and see crocolisks is what makes WoW special. As someone who encounters alligators on a regular basis and know a lot about Crocodilians (taxon order of Alligators, crocodiles, etc.), I love this video.
Sorry Crendor I don’t usually do this, but I’m gonna have to report you for a crime this time. YOU DIDN’T PUT BRUCE IN! This is illegal! Nobody excludes Bruce from the top 10 cocolisks in Azeroth! VENGEANCE FOR BRUCE! 🐊
I'm surprised we haven't encountered a crocodile race in wow yet. We encountered sethrak, and saurak. It would be pretty cool to see crocodile/Alligator looking race in wow.
Number 2 kinda made me wonder... If you took all the Pointless Top 10 videos and looked at how many times each zone appeared in a video (potentially multiple times per video) which zones would be covered the most and the least? You could make at least 2 Pointless Top 10 WoW videos about the top and least featured zones in Pointless Top 10 videos Crendor!
My Gnome hunter had a crocolisk named Irwin for quite a while before I eventually caught a cool miniboss that I liked a bit more. Fun dudes in general, though it's a shame their animations haven't aged particularly well. Also, I'm surprised the one from the intro didn't get to join the giant from the intro on the list!
for a brief time during MoP you could do a glitch tame on the Sha-corrupted crocolisk and keep the special appearance, you can no longer get it, but people that tamed them that way got to keep theirs, I still have mine in my stable I don't bring it out much because these types of effects on pets can be fragile and wiped away by any buff-clearing auras
Yeah... Number 2 was a big disappointment for me. I saw the thing and ran all the way back just to leave my pets so I could tame it... And then it came looking like any other croc... I was sad xD
Fun fact: crocodilians cannot chew and tend to "death roll" to rip chunks off to swallow, but if they can, they will just swallow their prey whole as death rolling attracts other crocs and possible competition.
What about Bruce from the Brawler's Guild. You could also get him as a mount for completing the quest line starting with "Murder at the Brawlpub", back in BFA.
These things are desperately in need of some love. They're kind of crap as hunter pets, and they don't really have much presence anymore. I hope War Within gives us some kickass subterranean crocs.
it's because they're related to basilisks, six-legged lizards that turn you to stone if you look them in the eye hence why they're called "crocolisks" and not "crocodiles"
The 'Bad Attitude' ability used to be a crocolisk family skill back in WotLK only. Perhaps the only point in time where Crocolisks were actually a good pet to have? Eitherway it got removed again in Cataclysm.
I actually do wish I put Bruce on the list, but do not fret, he can appear in a Pointless Things I forgot part 2
My thought, when I saw this video was, "Well, Bruce better be #1."
The primary difference between alligators and crocodiles is whether you will see them later, or in a while.
This while never get old. Bless you for this comment.
You're a legend. This is a top-scale comment!
But seeing a crocolisk is always a risk
No Sewer Beast, no Rotgrip, no Spirit of Ha-Khalan?
I am pointlessly upset at this list
Where’s BRUCE
It's a pointless series
Right! The fact the Sewer Beast and Bruce are not in here hurts me!
@@Paulmacellaro I actually do wish I put Bruce on the list. I'll probably put him in a "Pointless things I forgot" part 2
they keep removing the crates because the used to be a decent source of gold, do your WOD garrison missions on CD just for the crates, open the crates for a bit of gold just for opening the box, plus vendor trash. Fun fact, a Crocolisk is a hybrid between a basilisk and crocodile. Hence they all have 6 legs.
Crendor please whatever you do please never stop making this series. It is some of my favorite videos on RUclips!!!!
Keep doing you man!!!
Thanks Crendor, I've been enjoying the Pointless top 10's so much that I've actually been persuaded to dip back into Wow after about 10 years away from it. Rolled a goblin hunter and having a blast so far. Keep 'em coming!

When Cata first dropped, on my new Human Hunter, I saw Mahamba and just needed it as my pet. Still have it. Renamed it Mambo.
Deadmire from Dustwallow Marsh was my pet for many years. When they changed how pets work and re-did the families and their spells, he was no longer as tough as he once was.
JUSTICE FOR BRUCE
I always think of the Wetlands crocolisks on the coast by Horrorjaw. Lots of dead dwarf characters.
Love this so very much! hey crendor ever thought about doing a pointless top 10 about pieces of text in wow? like "A Steamy Romance Novel: I'm In Love With a Robot", etc
Super fitting pointless top ten as this week I got my crocky plush! I love him dearly and so this a celebratory pointless top ten!
At this point this channel has given me more knowledge of this game than any lore channel ever has. God bless
Bro, how do you forgot Bruce from brawlers guild? Also, you forgot The Sewer Beast , a rare crocodile that appears at Stormwwind canals.
When I played my hunter more, I saw a boatload of very cool corrupted beasts that were normal once tamed. I do wish they would let us keep the corrupted effect.

I miss Rotgrip on this list. I remember the first time I saw it at the bottom of Maraudon and was amazed at the giant crocolisk down there
Sorry Crendor I don’t usually do this, but I’m gonna have to report you for a crime this time.
Just like the naga, they will need to constantly be around water. We need more traditional fantasy races rather than anthropomorphic animal races.
My number 1 would've been Chuck! The pet crocodile you got from doing the Shattrah fishing quests!
Shout out to the crocolisks outside the Gilneas Wall. My beloved 1st Hunter pet main.
Top 10 Barrels should be coming soon
Number 2 kinda made me wonder... If you took all the Pointless Top 10 videos and looked at how many times each zone appeared in a video (potentially multiple times per video) which zones would be covered the most and the least?

Lockmaw is just the flightless runt of Oxyxia. Lockmaw don’t let Crendor bring you down! :(
I received my Crocky just today!

I honestly had no idea they had 6 legs until now… been playing since 2006 😂
Green Slime Hunter pet which is classified as a crocolisk is #1 by far.
Finally, Pointless Croc 10!
Why do they have 6 legs? The two additional legs seem pointless.
because they are crocolisks, not crocodiles, which are a hybrid between a basilisk and a crocodile :)
for a brief time during MoP you could do a glitch tame on the Sha-corrupted crocolisk and keep the special appearance, you can no longer get it, but people that tamed them that way got to keep theirs, I still have mine in my stable

I don't know how many times I've said it, but Top 10 treasure troves, coz what's more pointless that troves of treasure you can't even get.
But the things on the list are not pointless, the list itself is pointless
@@TheLastEpsilon So the rats are not pointless?
noooo the optional boss from maraudon isnt on here? sadge
Cant wait for top 10 alligators next
Yeah... Number 2 was a big disappointment for me. I saw the thing and ran all the way back just to leave my pets so I could tame it... And then it came looking like any other croc... I was sad xD
Crendor Database. The Crendor Lore. The Crenlore.
Fun fact: crocodilians cannot chew and tend to "death roll" to rip chunks off to swallow, but if they can, they will just swallow their prey whole as death rolling attracts other crocs and possible competition.
I approve of the number 1 spot!
please do the top 10 torches, i wonder if there are any unique ones out there that hide secrets.
I'm sad Bruce isn't on the list :(
WE GOT AN ORIGIN STORY FOR CROCCY THE CROCODILE!!
I remember there was one in maraudon it is huge biggest one in game I would say also and optionally DUNGEON boss like Lockjaw but again bigger
4:49 - You meant stable character in the Crendor-verse!
What about Bruce from the Brawler's Guild. You could also get him as a mount for completing the quest line starting with "Murder at the Brawlpub", back in BFA.

Pointless top 10 treasure hoards would be good : )
Called the dungeon boss croc a raid boss and forgot the maraudan crockalisk boss that no one kills for some reason. (It's huuuuuge!!)
Can you do Elementals next?
Or at least dinosaurs ?
no10 and i'm already hooked and wanting to try it out :D
I always wondered why crocolisks in wow have 6 legs
I just noticed this! Never thought to look until this video.
it's because they're related to basilisks, six-legged lizards that turn you to stone if you look them in the eye
hence why they're called "crocolisks" and not "crocodiles"
I'm sad you didn't include the sewer beast in SW :(
🥺 I missed out on getting a crocky
My hunter croc pet is named Crocostimpy.
No Rotgrip? The largest crocolisk in the game, IIRC!
Remember when Crendor made machinima? Good times...
I still go back and watch them on occasion.
As a night elf if you say "cricolisk in wow" I think of Wetlands ?? crocs chasing me on my odyssie to Westfall
WoW needs a memorial reference character to Steve Irwin: The Crocodile Hunter 🐊 😊 In all khaki
New video day, is best video day! I am here today, its new video day!!!
top 10 dragon visages
I expect Bruce to be 1#
:(
am i tripping or did you already do a top 10 crocodiles? you did top 10 alligators right?
maybe im thinking of top 10 rivers because alot of these crocolisks cameo'd in that video
#1 - goofy aah gator
Top 10 crockastimpies.
hell yeah, Chomps
number 1 made me think of banjo jazooie when your a crock and need to eat a bunch of little guys in a contest
Uh #11 Renekton, he's based on Sobek from Egyptian mythos, and a Champion on League of Legends
No mention of BRUCE??
aww sweet , a new pointless top 10 .
Always funny when people realize crocolisks have 6 legs.
Are crickolisks naga?
I don't think I've ever encountered a snap dragon or coutl in world of warcraft...
Week 2 of asking for Top Ten Walking NPCs :)
Sad Deadmire noises
First non-assbot comment
sewer beast erasure 😔❤️
Someone in the comments probably just now realizing they've always had 6 legs and not 4.
Sewer beast where? :
Whorejaw or Horrorjaw?
Pointless top 10 eggs pls
6 leggs why?!
They have 6 legs.
Crendlore
Horrorjaw is an albino !!
This list is a load of crock...
