Omg hey, another great reaction! if you're at all looking for album/artist suggestions I highly recommend Kelela - Take Me Apart. She's hands down one of my favorite alt rnb artists and she dropped an album this year (Raven) but def listen to her debut first hope you've been well!
As much as I loved this album, "Desire" is on another level. I saw her at Radio City on the 20th, and she was easily the best performer I've ever seen. One of the things that stands out about her musicality most to me is her true fascination with music itself. Listening to her talk about her music adds another element of appreciation (at least for me) when I listen to her, and she's been my top artist for the past few months.
As of now, "Desire" is my AOTY, but @gothivoir "Raven" is not too far behind. I'd also suggest you listen to Ethel Cain's "Preacher's Daughter" and USE GENIUS. You miss out on the vast majority of her musical intellect without the storyline that the album follows. She actually opened for Caroline at the show I went to, and was beyond incredible.
Adore the reaction. Caroline really is one of the most underrated in the music industry - you'd love any of her previous band, Chairlift's albums. But I would love to see a reaction to Ryn Weaver - The Fool. I have a feeling you'd REALLY dig that vibe
