Even though this vid is almost a year old. I'd like to respond to the "what was it like hearing this for the first time in1995" question. A lot of Bjork reaction vids ask this, and there's really an easy way to understand what it was like. Listen to Bjork's most recent album. That "what am I listening to? It's good, but weird as f@ck" is very much the same reaction folks had to this. So yeah, just listen to whatever her latest album is, and you'll understand how far out her stuff sounded in the 90's. In many countries, especially in North America, Bjork was the first artist to bring electronic music to the pop charts.

Bjork is my favorite artist and vespertine is probably my favorite of hers! the creativity and authenticity is sky high and the music is so intimate. I'm glad to see you enjoy it. and so glad you got "an echo, a stain". "Unison" always gets me along with the other heavy hitters in the album.

This whole mixtape resembles a coke high come down and high again, so whenever I hear the outro on What do you do and it’s so fire and so good and we always wished Mac started spitting on it, I think the reason why it fades out with no lyrics leaves us all wondering “what the hell where did Mac go?” I had a buddy of mine who was in blow throughout his adolescence and passed away sadly, but there were always times where I was just waiting for him to get into the livelihood of whatever fun shit was happening in life, and he was just so down on his come down from the night before that he just skipped out on everything and stayed at home and sulked I think that’s the point of the outro of what do you do into it just doesn’t matter, it’s like someone missing out on good shit because they’re sulking off a come down. Like we all wanted Mac to be on that beat so bad cuz he woulda killed it but he’s just too down and spiraling to enjoy the good shit around him I’ve always analyzed this album in this way and I think that thinking about that exact moment of the album made so much more sense to me once I started thinking about it that way.
