Hey man great tutorial! The double sided tape? Awesome. So, just something to consider/try if you want. I do my motorcycle grips very similar, the difference is that I go about a quarter inch short on the circumference, and after cutting and prick punching etc, I soak the leather in warm water and wrap and stitch them wet. When they dry, they are nice and tight on inner housing/bars from shrinking. If I could post some pics I would, sorry!
Looks great. Always nice to customize your ride.
I think the stitching is called ‘cross stitch’ in embroidery.
nice work !about to do mine, thanks for the vid!
Good job!
Nice job...... I would have overlapped the end though for a neater finish
what type of stitching thread would you recommend? Wax Nylon thread or Wax Nylon Leather Thread or something different altogether?
very cool and nice
its called "Gum Tragacanth"

Hi brother it looks awesome. Can you please tell which double sided tape did you use? I guess it's a tissue based tape
Dude, post came out really nice. If I send you the measurements of my Harley will you make me some in black leather? 😉
I think he has been offline for about a year. They are fairly easy enough. Maybe use the contact on facebook? Not sure myself as his last post was in 2017 as well. What are the measurements?
Nice job. What bike was it you bought?
Burnish the ends next time? Great idea though.
Where are the links for how to make this type of stitch??
