Brian you have stepped up another notch.. that was truly awesome.. Jaqs and I really smiled seeing a great father and son partnership. The video was just pro all the way. We too are lucky To have a master leather maker.. will share.
Def calling Ed on Monday. Been looking for 2 months for a seat for the Springfield and reluctant to go Saddlemen…..everybody has Saddlemen. It’s a good product… but I like different stuff. Thanks for another great vid Brian.
Looks great... I live in Polk City so I'm definitely going to check them out... 2019 Indain Cheftain dark horse love the bike hate the seat.. after 70 or so miles it's a killer..
That’s very kind of you. I’m hoping someday the world will take notice. Haha. You’re doing better every day too and dude you are growing FAST. way faster than I ever did.
@@TwoIndians lol thanks for the compliment but I’ve never been very tech savvy and self taught everything. I have yet to make my content to a professional level like yours but thanks buddy
It’s not about tech, it’s about having a vision for what the end product could be and then investing the time to make it better. I watch every video 5-6-10-20 times after each edit. Yes, each edit. I go over and over and over and ask myself, how can I make this better. And when I’m done, I save it and look at it a day later and say what can I do now? Even this video. I watched it last week and groaned and said “shit, how could I let that get out!?” LOL. Always something to improve on. I spend roughy an hour and a half per minute of video on the editing process
@@TwoIndians well then there’s the difference. I pick the clips I see and throw it together and put it up there. Maybe if I did those two things that you do and I don’t my videos might be different lol
Hey Brian, impressive documentary of real craftsmanship and a very nice editing!!......that is so so cool, have a prompt crazy idea! I have to upholster my solo seat anyway and want a new leather. I could send it to them from Germany, if you guarantee it is like seating on a butter cream cake!?.....My small bony child butt is very sensitive! :-).....(I have installed a Roadmaster seat currently)....Bregs Buddy
You will need more than a recover my friend. The seat will need some of that blue cushion material first like you saw on my seat…plus the new cover. You should be able to find a local guy near you right? Well, Ed ships his product all over the world so he can probably help. I actually know a guy that’s selling a stock two-up seat for a Springfield he in town, you could send that to him and that way you won’t be without a seat. Just a thought.
@@TwoIndians My local upholster guy is not using that special new Gel Foam, Sick Saddle is using it! it combines the advantages of Memory Foam and Gel inlays, but does not have their specific disadvantages! That's what I want
They do Very impressive work. The seats look amazing. I'm sure they will be more than just comfortable. Stay Alert. Ryde Safe in a fun way. Thanks for sharing. 😎.
Nice work ! If you ever look for automotive interior work i have a friend there in Orlando that does good work - Dickey Interiors ( Lane Dickey & his father). Good guy too !
Looks like a pro team you found there, I'm wondering if they could have incorporated some heavy leather heat blockers for your rear cylinder. Attached to the bottom seat pan or bottom seam of seat?
never thought about heat blockers, didnt know it was a thing. clearly i put some heat abatement product on there muslef some time ago, never worked. TBH it doesnt bother me any more
I do not have a scientific reply for you but I will tell you that one of these bikes sat in the rain for about two hours and I simply dried off the seat and rode home when the rain stopped. The seat did not absorb water or feel mushy or soaked or wet below the leather in anyway. It kind of goes against common sense when you’re poking 10,000 holes in the seat but it held up well.
Good job on the video! Interesting to see how the seat mods are done. Wondering if they could modify my stock Scout 2016 seat; darn thing has me going numb in the wrong area on 1hr+ rides; partly due to wind but … seat’s a bit hard too.
Great video once again. Seats look sick. I really think I will stay away from an after market seat and get mine remade by Astech. I’d love to give these gentleman a shot, however Lakeland is a bit far from the middle of the mitten. I assume these have proven to be as comfortable as they look..? Take care
So, now that you've had the seat a while, how does it compare to the Ultimate and the stock seat? After Sturgis this year, I'm ready to upgrade the seat on my Vintage!
Oh man, I was wondering about your seat situation. Now, you I want them to do mine, but it could be a drive. LOL, oh, what is that gold covers under your seat and over the area of the battery you have on there? So there's not gel? I would need them to cut mine on the sides since my 29" inseam can make it hard to be completely flat footed on my RM.
A) I’m just filming the process. B) don’t assume because you didn’t see it on video that it didn’t happen. Not every single step makes it into the Final Cut. A 12 minute video of 4 hours of work.
Exelente diseño y el acabado, sin palabras ,,FELICIDADES!!!
Unbelivable! The nicest seat i have ever seen.
Those turned out great!!!
Yes of course, LOL, but how’s my editing? 🤣🤣🤣
@@TwoIndians Great! :)
Excited to have Sik to do our seats, too. Thanks for the video!!
I think your “c” is broken
I had to go look at their business card again. I really thought they spelled it without a “c”. My bad. 🤷♂️
Beautiful work! I noticed that seat on your get two-gether pictures.
Thanks!
Great video. The love comes across the screen. (For one another as well as the craft).
Thanks bud! I love this video.
Excellent. Very cool!
Amazing work. If and when I make changes to my seat…those guys are the ones to do it.

So enjoyable to watch craftsmen doing quality work..!!
Gotta lose the music though....turn up the audio: it is hard to hear them speak.
Great work
Just shipped them my RE Meteor seat. Thank you for sharing about them. 😎
nice!

Please do!
Great looking saddles, thanks for taking us behind the scenes. Will definitely look them up when the time comes.

I was invited but can’t make it because I just couldn’t get enough time off of work.

How does this seat compare to the ultimate as for as comfort and position in the saddle?
Remaking the factory seat was the best option for me. Love it still.
Very nice 👍

How dense was that blue foam though? Was it a 2.5 pound?

Does the stitching allow water to soak into the foam during rain or washing?

Good job, but you should have cleaned the foam before installing the liner and that would have spoken better of you.

My old Honda seat is starting to tear. I think I would rather have them reupholster it rather then getting a cover from eBay.
I enjoy a comfortable ride too, I’m just not sure I wanna feel like I’m riding on a “buttercream cake” if ya know what I mean😂😂😂
LOLOL.
So, it’s October 9th, 2023. They no longer have a website and I don’t have Facebook, but it seems like their last message was in July, nothing else……
They are still running strong. If you go to Google Maps in the Lakeland area then search Sick Saddles, it comes right up
And, a butter-cream cake made contact...?
M, kay....
LOL, I tried to think of what could possible be the softest thing I could sit on and that’s what came out.
@@TwoIndians No judgements...(frosting jokes to follow)
Riding on a butter cream cake may leave your butt a bit sticky.
