If Viseart and other high-end companies would eliminate the talc in their eyeshadow. My eyes don't tend to like it. One reason I appreciate Sydney Grace.
I really love Patrick Ta’s formula and I LOVE mattes these days. Like you said, there’s something just so clean looking about an all matte look. Classic, classy. I saw Patrick said the cream formula in this palette is different than the first 2 bc he wanted them to work better as eyeliners. I will def be getting this at some point.
this makes me so happy, I've been looking for a replacement for my urban decay ultimate basics palette (currently close to 7 years old) for ages but I feel like nothing has looked more similar than this, and the quality of the shadows looks like a very worthy replacement. I'd gladly spend that money for something I'll get lots of use out of

I have the mini viseart and supernudes palette and I feel like I can create similar looks. It was a good idea for Patrick, I think he should have chosen a more unique color story.
I loved Makeup by Mario Ethereals Palette formula more than this one, I feel like the the new formula was much softer. And from what I can see Patricks formula is much more softer. Plus i looooveee the fact we have creams-I love using them for the depth of the eyeshadow. Thx for the review.
i loveeee viseart’s shadows and i’m very happy with my all matte palette that i use when i want to play with my single shimmery shadows. you look absolutely beautiful. 🥰🥰🥰
I can’t wait to get mine! I have and love both of the Major Headlines palettes, but I just love a quality neutral palette. The addition of a black shade that isn’t messy is an excellent idea. Plus, I can use these mattes as a base for looks with all my Super Shocks shadows from Colourpop, my loose powder singles, and my shimmery metallic liquid and cream shadows.
I really like that palette.. I prefer the PT over the Mario one because I like the formula better and I like the way shadows are organized warn vs cool, just my opinion 😊

I got this at 5am when it dropped on the Patrick Ta website and when I checked back at noon to look at the palette it was already sold out! I can't wait to get it. I love how well each shade compliments the other it just creates the most gorgeous looks. I got MD1 and I use it literally everyday. Best drop ever! ❤
It’s a beautiful palette but there are 7 shades that won’t work for me. 5 shades are too light for my medium tan African American skin and I hate creams in an all powder eyeshadow palette. Maybe he’ll come out with a 2.0 version 😊
Check out the Danessa Myricks Groundwork palette coming out. Pretty certain same price point +/- a few bucks Lots of options for medium to deep skin tones.
These shades are gonna work on dark skin as lid and transition shades. I have both Major Headlines 1 and 2, and they are brilliant palettes. I’m gonna pick this one up tomorrow.
Yeah I agree. I wish he would have included like a terracotta/brick and also a dark maroonish red. I think that would have given it a lot more variety and versatility in what you could create with this palette. I wonder if you can swap out pans in his palettes? (Like if you already have his other palette) Because some of the more reddish shades from the ll palette, the rosé colored one would look amazing combined with this one.

Thanks for the review! I'm getting this. I love having everything in one palette, and I don't really wear shimmers. So this is perfect. I've looked at the Viseart matte palettes many times and there's something about their colors that don't appeal to me like this one does.
I wish they were sold as singles because I am still on the hunt for pigmented but soft white eyeshadow… and this one seems amazing but cant justify the price when I have the other colors
I had already purchased the Viseart Neutral Mattes Slimpro on 50% off sale for $40 (currently on Sale again for Labor Day for those interested) when I saw the preview of this palette. I would have bought this Patrick Ta palette if I had known, because I do love their matte formula and also love the cream shades, but I'm very happy with Viseart. The only thing I wish Patrick Ta's palette would have done is have a lighter cream shade to use as all over base like I do with Major Dimension II, instead of two dark shades. The dark brown cream looks similar to the dark brown in Major Dimension II.
So glad you did the comparison to the MBM palette. I got mine for 30% off (at the time) and since they’re basically identical in shades…I’m good. It’s a pass for me. Thank you, Morgan!

They're all within a similar price point and have similar color stories. I'd love to know your thoughts on which one would be the best to purchase. I don't know how anyone could look at this pallete and be like OMG I need THIS. Especially at the insane price point. I was actually very disappointed when i saw this was his next eyeshadow launch.
I think it's worth it if you want these exact colours in one compact palette. I have dozens on dozens of neutral palettes incl Viseart and not a single one outside mega palettes from CP or Morphe actually has a complete depth gradient like this one from really light to really dark while keeping the same undertone. A lot of neutral palettes mix undertones left and right as if they don't believe in them. I've been looking for something like this for years

This video was exactly what I hoped it would be. I have been super interested in this palette since the promo images started popping up but I have not yet purchased a Patrick Ta palette so wasn’t sure of quality. I knew I could count on you to review it and compare it to the viseart neutral mattes. I have the original size Viseart neutral matte palette, the ND Biba, the first Hindash palette, the Tom Ford Mink Mirage, and the viseart warm matte so probably lots of ways to pull together a comparable look to that of this Patrick Ta all matte but - nonetheless, I’m still tempted to buy it. I love matte palettes and even more if it is a brown palette. I’m also very intrigued by the new Esum palettes and the all matte palettes Danessa has coming out.

Both of your eye looks with this palette look amazing! Your brown eyes are poppin! Everyone complaining the palette costs $70, well it’s $94.50 in Canada! I’d happily pay $70 instead. Sephora Prices are also no longer in line with the brand’s prices on their own website.

I think what saves this palette from being ridiculous is those cream shades. Getting a seamless matte look with a very easy to use liner in one palette is pretty ingenious. Not $70 worthy but I would pay $50-60

I feel like the Patrick should have had lighter cream colors instead of the Same black and brown. There should have been like a cream or nude Shade ijs idk how you can put down a dark base with a light shade.
Considering his other palettes have matte shades, he should have released just cool tones with one row being matte and the other being shimmer. I feel the danessa myricks matte palette is more innovative because you can use it for face and eyes

This palette has sold out on Cult Beauty within hours every time they’re restocked. I wasn’t even that impressed by the first 2. I found the shimmers creased which never happens to me and they don’t really wow me. When you turn your head in the light it looks pretty. But looking straight on, you can’t see much. 😢
When he comes out with an all cool-toned matte nude palette, he can take my $70. But I won't use those warm shades or the creams, and the palette is too expensive to not use half of it.
The thing that impresses me about this palette is the formula. The ingredients are “clean”, even more so than brands that claim to have clean eyeshadows in their line. Looking at the formula and performance, I think it’s well worth the price.
I think it's very pretty, but not for $70. I have way too many neutral mattes in my 35+ palette collection to justify buying this. Beautiful palette, though! I have his first palette and I really enjoy it.

That's the issue w neutrals. Your undertone and skin tone can completely alter how a palette looks.

The $40 Viseart has plenty of shadow for someone who isn’t a makeup artist - it’s much better IMO than the Patrick Ta and much cheaper
And they go on sale for 30, and last for years.

I love a Matte Palette, and a nude look, but with three of those warmer browns looking very similar, i think the price is not worth what you get imo

I'm saving my money for a high-end, high-quality palette (a gift for myself after I finish my dissertation😆) and am torn between the 2 brands. I'd choose Pat over Natasha, and the one contender left is Viseart. Thank you, and any input, advice, or suggestions from the subscribers are also welcome and appreciated. I would just recommend getting colourpop’s gone matte eyeshadow for half the price and so many more shades
I think what saves this palette from being ridiculous is those cream shades. Getting a seamless matte look with a very easy to use liner in one palette is pretty ingenious. Not $70 worthy but I would pay $50-60

I wouldve liked a sepia brown if not a chocolate brown in the palette, I don't think the full white was needed

The Natasha Denona Safari palette was all matte but it was discontinued. I loved it and have 2 of them, one unused for my backup.

I feel like the Patrick should have had lighter cream colors instead of the Same black and brown. There should have been like a cream or nude Shade ijs idk how you can put down a dark base with a light shade.
There actually is shade names. They are on the back of the palette, just flip it over haha 😎
Considering his other palettes have matte shades, he should have released just cool tones with one row being matte and the other being shimmer. I feel the danessa myricks matte palette is more innovative because you can use it for face and eyes
Both Patrick Ta and Mario’s palette remind me of visearts palette.
Honestly, I’m with most of the others on here, I’ll just stick with my Viseart shadows. 🤷♀️
If you have the Viseart, this is definitely not a need!

It looks just like the Colourpop Gone Matte pallet. Which is much cheaper than this one. Still pretty but I little pricey.

This palette has sold out on Cult Beauty within hours every time they’re restocked. I wasn’t even that impressed by the first 2. I found the shimmers creased which never happens to me and they don’t really wow me. When you turn your head in the light it looks pretty. But looking straight on, you can’t see much. 😢
Not liking this one or the new kosas matte palette. I would get Viseart instead personally.
When he comes out with an all cool-toned matte nude palette, he can take my $70. But I won't use those warm shades or the creams, and the palette is too expensive to not use half of it.
The thing that impresses me about this palette is the formula. The ingredients are “clean”, even more so than brands that claim to have clean eyeshadows in their line. Looking at the formula and performance, I think it’s well worth the price.
I think it's very pretty, but not for $70. I have way too many neutral mattes in my 35+ palette collection to justify buying this. Beautiful palette, though! I have his first palette and I really enjoy it.
