- Summer is in full flow at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, but what's going on?!
Join us at the park for our August update as we check out the on going works whilst the theme park is open, for one of its busiest periods of the year. We look in on the latest around the closed attractions, Temple of Mayhem and Scorpion Express. As well as check out Tomb Blaster, SUmmer food updates and works which are going on in the car parks.

Scorpion Express's electronic queue board got put on high striker, because that one overheated and broke.
Yea it's been borrowed to save money, and why not, it's not being used!

Went to Chessington last Wednesday 21st and whilst I did have a good day lots of rides broke down like Tomb Blaster whilst i was about to go on ride, Dragons Fury broke down 3 times, Tuk Tuk Turmoil broke down to and few more. Rather annoyed me about having to travel to get to Zufari as main enterance closed.
Also area round Tomb Blaster ride is looking tired and needs updating. They really neeed to get ahead and sort out mexicana and scorpion express as been long time closed. Play area in wild asia needs sorting to as now an eyesore.
Randomly I found Monkey Swinger ride to be great and been on many times and never got that wet sitting on outside.
Fury isn't having a good year this year and the park does need to step up the refurbishment program a bit

Thanks for this update bud! Question, for children under 90cm with free entry ticket, they should still buy a pass to be allowed to access the rides, right? TIA
I believe now you head to the ticket booths on the day to get the ticket for under 90cm, this is so they can measure! Hope that helps
@@UKThemeParks Thanks for the prompt reply. It's helpful. We're just wondering though if they (kids under 90cm) can access the rides still with the 'free ticket' or we'll have to pay for that separately. Free entry is only to access the park, right? not free access to rides. I might be wrong, apologies.
@vlogz5381 once inside, you're inside, no further checks are made on tickets, only height restrictions for the rides, you'd have access to everything under 0.9!

@@vlogz5381 that's all a paid extra, your ticket gives you access to all the ride queues height dependant. Remember Chessington have parent swap as well!
