**CRAZY MAN JUMPS ON FDNY LADDER** & spits on officer - Engine 91 & Ladder 26 Respond to Harlem Fire

While L26 and E91 were responding to multiple reports of fires in Harlem, a man who appeared to be on drugs stood in front of the responding units. The man then jumped on the front bumper of L26, hit the windshield & spat at the Officer. Unfortunately this is some of the abuse that members of the FDNY are forced to take day-to-day. Props to the restraint shown by the responding units.
He'll probably sue the city for trying to run him over with a fire truck.
Kudos to the firefighters for the restraint and professionalism they execised in this situation.

He was lucky to have a driver who was very good with driving that truck. I definitely think that the individual who did this should be locked up somewhere

@@E-Man-1313 I believe that this specific ladder was 3rd due there were already units on scene so I’d rather them get that scum off the streets so it can’t interfere or possibly injure anyone in another unit

So I follow the FDNY on a couple 2-3 RUclips channels with this one being my primary.
I’m coming to NYC for my first time ever from Lexington, Kentucky November 7th through 11th. Coming in a small group and staying around Times Square I understand (didn’t make the reservations). I can’t come to NYC and not visit at least one of the FDNY Fire Houses. Which one or one’s would be the best to check out? Are you allowed to visit the houses? Also, do they sale any kind of merchandising such as t-shirts, hats, etc.? We plan on doing mostly all walking.
