I remember watching the 98 movie at theater with my mom, who was a fan of the original series. She really loke the new version and when this music starts, i remember her saying loud "wow, this is good"
I remember seeing lost in space in 1998 with my dad in the brand new stadium seating theater. After the movie ending it went straight into this, everyone else had gotten up and left the theater. I sat there with my dad and thought it was strange he hadnt gotten up yet. Im glad we sat there and watched this. Song has stuck with me all these years later. Totally captures late 90s electronic music boom.
@@hamishreid8791 I saw the series reboot on Netflix. I fell asleep through several episodes. Having Dr. Smith younger & gender - swapped & the Robot be an alien machine just did nothing for me. NOTHING. The movie needed a sequel, though. It deserved it for staying as close to the original, sans goofy aliens, anthropomorphic vegetables, etc.
As a kid I thought "send my regards to oblivion" from Gary Oldman was a banger. He just needed to do the Mr Burn "excellent" hand gesture and he'd be a perfect baddie Mcbadguy
I went to the cinema to watch this with my mates, back in ‘98. I thought it was pretty decent at the time, but I’m not sure how well it’s aged, now. I loved this theme by Apollo Four Forty; I’ve still got my CD Single of it, but never bought CD2 with the Jason Nevins remix.

Love the song-if you watch the movie, the fighter that Major West flies with is none other than Lenny James of "Jericho" and "Walking Dead" fame. He says"this cold war just got hot" in this video. I didn't know him from Adam at the time.
It is kind of hard to believe that John Williams at 92 (who wrote the Lost In Space theme) is still writing music. He wrote the music for the last Indiana Jones movie.

Who is still listening to Apollo 440 in 2024? I certainly am!
🤝🏻
When You Like Something You Don't Stop Listening 🤘🏼😉
No matter how you feel about the 1998 movie, THIS is how you update a Classic theme song!
The movie wasn't perfect, but I still enjoyed it. The Netflix series was blah.I couldn't get through it.
This and Godzilla 98. Shit films with absolute BANGER themes.
It was a thing of the times about 95 to 05 average movies with absolute banger soundtrack’s. Judgement Day is a Perfect example 🤟🏻🤟🏻
I enjoyed the movie a lot when it came out, but everybody else seemed to hate it 😁
I actually didn't mind the film but yeah this update is a belter

Such a classic. This hits hard! Just looked it up after watching the new Netflix series. Takes me back! How I miss the 90's.
The new series is pretty disappointing.
we all do, but shows werent as amazing as now

Every sound effect is perfect on this song.
Oh my god, Absolutely amazing, fuckin rocks!
Just Brilliant ... call it a remix ... call it a reinterpretation ... Apollo 440 just nailed it !
I grew up watching LOS when it first aired on TV in the 60s. This, by far, is the best version. The movie’s pretty good, too.
They had it set up for a 2nd film, too.
@@DanielAppleton-lr9eq Was a much better movie than many critics said.

Takes me right back to being a teenager and just finding out about EDM.
The best movie with best music! Classic!
The movie was actually better than it was given credit for. My favorite quote from the movie is "Evil knows evil".
They were hoping for a sequel. It would have been better than LiS Netflix.
