I've wanted to do this episode for quite a while: Nishane is easily one of our shared favorite brands, and it was a blast to put Grace's nose to the test with some that she knows she loves, and some that she's never smelled before.

For me personally i think hacivat is a masterpiece and deserves its hype, makes you stand out like no other and you cant ever beat the projection and longevity!! I understand how some might be thrown off by the "dryness" or strong woody notes, but its the only nishane i could jusity buying a bottle of. As for Ani i understand how someone would love but its jist to inconsistant for me in the way it smells to purchase a full bottle! Just my ted talk😅😅 love you guys ❤❤ stay well!

Ani is def a 9.9 to me. Love that stuff. Alexandria makes a good clone of it, but my real bottle is just heavenly.

@@Ulyssmusic I don’t consider it similar to Layton. Yeah, they both have vanilla, but Ani is on a whole diff level of vanilla. Layton has a menthol/effervescent thing going on that Ani does not. Ani is just rich and smooth. Arguably my favorite vanilla atm.

Sultan Vetiver is the most unique fragrance I own. I describe it as the perfect fragrance for a rainy autumn day.
Grace's nose and note pick ups has definitely grown. I love it 🥂
I own 3 bottles from this house and would repurchase each of them. Nefs is probably my favorite thus far but you've given me some new ones to sample soon. Excited to try Papilefico, or whatever that one is called, lol.
Probably my favorite house ever! I also sultan vetiver for the first time today and as unusual as vetiver is to my nose, I kinda dig it. And I’m absolutely looking forward to pick up some of the X collection. I’ve sampled them and they’re all good
How is Hacivat X and Wulong cha X VS the original?
I'm glad you guys are honest about Ani not smelling edible or like ice cream because it does not. The ginger/cardamom is way too heavy for a lot of people who are sensitive to spices or don't like spicy ambers. Sophisticated and expensive smelling but definitely not for everyone.
Incredible niche house I absolutely adore. I have about 9 and yes they all maybe situational but they smell unique and I love that. Thanks JC!

Loved this video, and feel exactly the same as Grace with Ani. It is a heartbreakingly beautiful thing. The first time i smelled it it became an instant favorite. Will absolutely be a full bottle once i have the scratch saved up 😁. Love these video videos with Grace so much, she is "everything" 😁 and lets go 72k!!!!!!!

Sultan Vetiver is very green. I enjoyed it a lot. I preferred it over B-612

@@bluemystic7501 it’s sweet and spicy cardamom with a hint of freshness. It’s extremely sexy and it lingers all day with a great scent trail. It’s really intoxicating in my opinion. Think mix of Dior sauvage elixir with la nuit dlhomme. It’s really nice.

I don't have that much experience with Nishane. And I've been disappointed by a couple fragrances of theirs that I've samples (Karagoz and Wulong Cha). But I love the one Nishane I own: Safran Colognise, which is one of the few leather fragrances I own that work in warm weather.

Sultan Vetiver reminds me of the room in my university‘s library where they store all the medieval manuscripts. Muddy, but sort of uplifting and awe-inspiring at the same time.

It's a strong opening, but as it dries down it's a pretty enjoyable scent.
I do highly recommend letting her smell Sultan Vetiver on skin. To me it is even better than Ani. I know yes, Ani has this unusual sort of green vanilla vibe going on that is intoxicating. But Sultan Vetiver...it is something else. I get mostly earthy grass with a sort of soapy base. Almost soapy clean. So I have absolutely no idea where Grace gets the animalistic touch from 😅. Smell is so subjective...I love this about our hobby, like what is a treasure for me might be crap for another. Great video as usual by the way.

I just order the Nishane Ani! It's the same who made it aswell for Amouage Opus XIV Royal Tobacco (Cecile Zarokian). I really really really find the Opus XIV Royal Tobacco, its my favourite one in my parfume collection. So i just blind bought the Nishane Ani!
My fave house! I have Wulong Cha, Hacivat, Hundred Silent Ways, Suede et Saffran, Fan Your Flames and Colinise. All very good frags.
Been dying to try the time capsule collection - mainly Tero, but I hear it can be similar to papelifiko which sounds intriguing as well. Gotta find me some decants!

Sultan Vetiver blew my socks off on paper. I immediately felt, luxury spa.. under a waterfall. It smells extremely aquatic, and clean to me. Wearing it, choked me out. Disheartening.
Great video. Content + entertainment and the magic Grace factor. Props to you that you can get into Fan your Flames. Re Sultan Vetiver. I bet guys who like SV also like Guerlain's Vetiver and something tells me they like Heritage. I could not get into any of that crowd and I all kinds of unusual and funk (Amouage library collection.) My heart is broken! Unutamam is my favorite one.... kidding, it's very complex, I agree the dry down is fantastic, I find the opening the most difficult part but once you understand it It's very enjoyable, at least it's something different. Ani is fantastic, layer it with Aventus and it's... Magic! Imperium from Electimuss is basically that, Aventus + Ani, maybe it also works with Hacivat, I can't wear Hacivat my skin reacts very bad to it. Need to try Nefs. Good to see you guys, thank you!!!

I’ve tried Fan Your Flames, Haçivat, Ani and Ege. Unpopular opinion but I didn’t cared much about Ani (i know…) maybe I will give it another chance this atumn and winter, FYF is my signature, Haçivat is one of my favorites to buy for this summer and I didn’t cared much about Ege (not bad but nothing special). I’m eager to try Unutamam because I hear it’s really, REALLY dark and animalic. Also on my wishlist for trying are Nefs, Pachuli Kozha, Karagoz and the new X collection.

Ani is great, Sultan Vetiver is my all time favorite from the house, I cant explain why beyond how it wears on my skin throughout the day, between Creed Bois de Portugal and sultan Vetiver i am forever torn, they are both the Scent of a Man's Man, so says the ladies that surround me and they are my daughters and mother and grandma, so no bias there right? LOL

The price point on discounters is usually real good. I've only smelled my blind buy bottle of Sultan Vetiver, but I am impressed enough to want to sample through the whole house. I wear Sultan Vetiver quite a bit, the unique warmth and complexity with what they did in that juice is impressive
Wow I didn't watch the full video when I chimed in about Sultan Vetiver (I knew you didn't have it yet, but I was wrong lol) I can assure you it is much better on skin. My girlfriend actually likes it a lot on me. I simply wanted to try the brand, they were on sale on one of the discounters, and knew I love vetiver as a note. I was mildly disappointed on first sniff.. but is now #1 to me in my collection. About 3+ hours dried down is when I find I like it most. Evolves a lot on a full wearing, and reminds me of a salty, arid, sweet smell that almost brings me back to a specific beach in Mexico. Not an appealing scent in a traditional sense, but I find it draws people in and they find it very interesting and pleasing. It's a piece of art truly!
I just smelled Ani at the store and wow I 100% agree with everything Grace said. It smelled masculine, elegant yet cozy on me but I want to see how it would smell on my girl.
Nefs, Colognise, Fan your flame , Wulong Cha and B612
Older video, but I watched this last week just days before the fragrance site I use (Notino) reduced several Nishane 50ml fragrances to between £75 and £100 which is very, very cheap compared to their retail or even discounted cost anywhere. There was an error and the prices went back up to almost double but I was extremely lucky as they honoured the price for which I had the fragrance in my basket from hours earlier. I have no idea why they reduced the prices at all, most likely an error to start with. I wish I'd picked up 2 or 3 of them...
I did pick up Suede et Safran for £88 (around $112). It arrived yesterday and immediately it reminded me of Afnan Rare Carbon which I used to own, but much stronger. I've sprayed it today and that is much less the case for some reason, and it feels more settled, smooth, and top quality. I was debating a re-sell given what I paid and what it could sell for, but it would be a shame to let it go and I'm sure it'll work wonders in a few months time during colder seasons.
I have also been lucky to secure Fan Your Flames today after seeing one of your videos recommending it. It's a 50ml bottle that is used but around 35ml remaining - for just over £60 (around $78) I will admit I have not sampled but the risk I'm taking here is a measured one. I'm pretty strict with controlling my collection, applying logic through understanding my liking for fragrances, their application, and their 'worth' to me (based on various factors). If I don't love it, I'll be able to move it on.
P.S. Nefs sounds incredible but definitely one of the more expensive Nishanes out there and not something I'm likely to pick up any time soon!

Sultan vetiver isn’t that bad lol 😂 I actually enjoyed it the first time smelling it! It’s not all dirty earthy vetiver, I think It has a little of Haitian vetiver in there which is my favorite
Most Nishanes i kid you not smell like the rust destroyer spray wd40 on me 😅 but some dont and I actually like them: Ambra Calabria, Colognise and Nanshe are so far my favorites from the 12 discovery set.

It’s funny how she gets an animalic vibe from Sultan Vetiver. I asked my fiancé and the first thing she said was “wow it’s sweet” which I can understand. But definitely earthy. It’s a lot up close but it’s a good UNIQUE one fragrance imo

I wear Hacivat at least twice a week but I get super noseblind to it so I only perceive projection for like 30 minutes. Sure enough, though, everyone around me gets choked out, even with only one spray

I tried to love Ani, but I could not get around to it. I know many love it, but I do not. I get Bentley for Men Intense with better performance and vanilla when I smell Ani. I cannot stand it. Sucks i had to sell it after a year of trying. Wulong Cha and Fan Your Flames are fantastic though.

Hey Justin hope you’re having a great morning/evening I’m really interested in fan your flames; the only thing drawing me back on it is the tobacco note how prominent is the tobacco to you? I made the slight mistake of making red tobacco being my first tobacco fragrance it’s good but just too intense to my nose but I want a really nice unique manly smell
The tobacco is noticeable but doesn't define the scent. Everything is blended. Red Tobacco is one of the most intense fragrances ever created, so while Fan Your Flames is strong too, it's not as overwhelming.

Because of your review of Nefs I got a decant and was in love and purchased. What is also great Nishane offers if you want to try almost all they offer a great sampler kit.... which my wife loved and for her Bday orders a few of her fav's and I got B612

I have the full collection, Ani, hacivat, tero and the three brothers, mana /shem / Nefs. You dint need any other perfumes for the rest of your life l, they will cover all seasons all special events in your life, all special occasions, maybe add Sultan vetiver for your coffin 😅
