Aventus is such a mystery when it comes to batches but there’s no denying the allure it brings to the table regardless of batch
I recently bought a new bottle and it’s lasting me a good 4 - 5 hours with a good projection. I wore it at a nice event and got many compliments from both men and women. I walked by a group of girls and one stopped me and asked what I was wearing. Very happy with my purchase.
The newer creeds with metal cap actually last! My aventus purchased this year lasts easily 8+ hours.

Just don't buy any creed Aventus manufactured between 2020-2023. You should either get 2010-2019 batches if they haven't expired yet, or get a 2024+ batch if you want a good aventus, But to be honest your probably just better off getting a brand new 2024 though just so you don't run the risk of getting ripped off or a soiled product that wasn't stored away properly over the years.
My 2017 lasts 24 hrs easy

I have 2018 & 2019 batches of Aventus, and I go noseblind to both of them.
I think it’s gone and when I come home from work 9 h later my wife still clearly can smell it from me!
I really think all the talk about Aventus not lasting it’s just people going noseblind.

That Creed Clink Is So Beautiful!
Great video! I wear Aventus to work from time to time and I love catching little whiffs of it throughout the day. There are even occasions where I go noseblind to it but other folks can still smell it. I want to say my bottle is like 2020-21 I bought it in 2023, its a best seller for a reason.

My bottle is similar to yours and I love the scent, just like you said is not a beast but as become a more intimate smell, ideal for a date or a dinner night where you are enjoying yourself closer to your love one. Aventus is still one of my favorite perfumes on my collection

I have a 2021-2022 ish plastic cap aventus and got a newer metal cap aventus because of an obscene discount for christmas from a small store, same day of christmas, along with a nice discount on desir toxic intense. Anyways, the metal cap (I did not know it was metal till I oppened it) is a beast, I spray around 10, and people go nuts, I haven´t have more compliments with any other parfume in my collection, including some many niches. It restarts if you sweat after many hours, I have had girls asking me if that nice smell was me and smelling me, I have had people telling me I smell nice after 8 hours (sprayed in the morning, went out from work from drinks, and got a compliment), I have had long hugs and sniffs. Even I from time to time get a slap reminding me "hey, I´m here!!". My other aventus bottle smells more dry, this one smells juicy.

I’ve got a 2020 batch and a 2023 as well. Both perform beautifully, projection is A1, and compliments from both men and women. Aventus is a bold signature scent!
I’m happy with Aventus cologne during these summer hot 🥵 days! Will give a try to 2024 Aventus once temps get lower! As for batches mine is F too and it won’t show up on “batch check”.

I either own or have smelled dozen of batches from every year from 2010 to current. F batches with F×××××× won't show up on checkfresh. Birch tar got yanked first, then oakmoss was further restricted, than lyral. Aventus still smells great but is nothing like the older stuff.

Metal cap. It may be time. I've had numerous decants, and samples, and I still have a 2014 50 ml decant with about
30 MLS left. My favorite was the samples I got in 2015. They were from 2014. They were inexpensive back then,
so I gave a good percentage of them away. They were the smokey variety. I liked them because I could smell them all the way through the wearing. I know the lasted and projected, for a woman had chased me down to ask me what I was wearing.
I was in Wal-Mart. I had a 2019 sample and it was not that good. Very disappointed.

I'll be honest. I've received the most compliments from Creed than any other house.

Me neither, but it makes sense as my latest creed bottle makes a noticeably different metal “click” sound when closing. Something very satisfying about it lol

One thing I’ve noticed about Aventus, it lasts longer and is much louder than you think it is. I sprayed ONE spray of 20M01, on the collar of my shirt, hours before and 2 individuals stopped me to ask what I was wearing. One of them was a mailman and we were outside in a strip mall and he was several paces behind me at first. I would’ve thought it was long gone at that point, it had been hours. But sure enough, it was still there and very potent. Nose blindness is very real with Aventus…
One other thing that I’m starting to notice with my older batches- they’re starting to turn. I had an 18B11 50ml, my favorite batch…kept in its box, in a closet…I busted it out recently and it had gone bad. Idk how it’s possible, I have fragrances from the 90s that don’t smell that bad…so if you have it, use it

My bottle I bought in April this year started off very Smokey with a touch fruitiness. And now the smokiness is dialed back and the pineapple shines. I get 8+ hours but will catch hints of it throughout time and man it smells so good

Still a fan of Creed Aventus. I got the best reaction wearing Creed Aventus. I walked into to a bank and all the female bank tellers said hi to me at the same time as I walked in. It is the king for a reason. It just gives you a confidence boost, but with the new batches you got to give the fragrance time to mature. It does not hit right away like the previous batches.
It's they're job to say hi to clients that walk in 🤦♂️ not because you was wearing aventus 😂

I have a 2019 bottle of Aventus. Really like it and wear it in rotation with Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme and Grey Vetiver EDT as my go-to office scents.
I still enjoy Aventus and own several bottles of it. I do find that it is not in rotation as much this year as in years previous, but its still on the short list of fragrances for a special occasion.
Yes Sir. Even my Aventus Cologne i bought 2022 which was first light citrusy is now a thick and robust fragrance with amazing performance. Curious if the OG will do the same
I bought Aventus last year in Greece and it performs for hours on in. The DNA may be different since it’s from overseas. It has the metal top like yours. However, I don’t get the fruity pineapple as much in this bottle. It’s a very good fragrance, not my favorite from Creed though.

I recently received a bottle of Royal Oud from Jomashop and the bottle had a heavy gold cap. I as well, could not find no batch code information online and I thought they sent me a fake bottle. But after doing research online it was legit.

Despite it getting a ton of hate the past few years, I still love the Aventus DNA, so it was really enjoyable watching this video. I have the new F batch as well. I wore it and hit skin and dress shirt. About 5-6 sprays and it was too much. The new batch was so strong I almost gassed myself out. Could still smell it 10-12 hours later. Do not be fooled, this new metal cap F batch is a Monster.
MONSTER! Now there might be some discrepancies between. F batches (under 500, and anything over 500) my batch is F000972 and it’s a beast mode fragrance.
I also have an F batch 000197 which is your average 4-6 hour Aventus.
The 500+ F batches are very strong birch smelling but last a long time.

Ive gotten some new creeds, metal caps, love em. Aside from the light airy, classy and subtle creed vibe I cannot complain about performance at all.
Feeling rather than smelling is not weird. A cologne is also used (or originally intended to) have a cooling effect through the evaporation.
Received an order today and a little tester was included, so I tried Aventus for the first time. Stunning. I understand it's great and why it is mentioned so often. Had to wash it off. Too intense for summer, also I'm a different type of guy. Though I love jazz and you did great on the trumpet!

I would bet you either went nose blind, or you sweat it off of you. I can still smell my Aventus, purchased in 2024 from Jomashop, 10+ hours after 3 sprays, but my work is not physical. So, I’m not sweating throughout the course of the day.
Now that’s a beast mode lol. lol

At the end of the day, I've never had a bad wearing experience with it. It's still attractive and has a place in the collection and I don't really see that changing.
Of course, I'm still exploring and experiencing many things I get my hands on. However, the og Aventus is solid.
As always, a great video, I’m sure you were aware of this but the reason why they smell slightly different is because the breakdown on the 10th anniversary is actually different. It has green notes, orange and a few other notes that regular aventus doesnt have . They are close but breakdown is a little bit different. That might be why you’ve noticed a change!

Give the bottle 20 sprays or so to come out in full force. My new metal cap bottle of aventus was the same at first only lasting a few hours but now lasts 6 to 8 hours

I love scent dna. I picked up a bottle of Merchants of Venice Venetian Blu Intense and it is fantastic. Smells like Aventus with the amped up smokiness. Very good quality for the price.
I have a new batch and it’ll last me around 6 hours or so, depending on what I’m doing. I just recently bought Creed cologne as well and sometimes I’ll layer that on top when I can no longer smell the Aventus. Just bought the wifey Aventus for her and it smells amazing…she absolutely loves it!
How’s the AC batch performance?
I bought it a few months ago after owning most of the popular dupes. I felt like I couldn't speak with any authority if I hadn't tried/owned the original. I tried it on a tester strip in a shop and it was gone within half hour. Sauvage elixir on a strip way outperformed it, so I stupidly assumed it might last longer on skin, or I hadn't sprayed enough. I bought it from a reliable source and while I'm somewhat proud to own a bottle, it really isn't worth the money and those who own Afnan or Armaf dupes are not missing out on anything in my opinion :)
I had a bottle some years ago. My first niche (I do not include TF's Private blend). It was really amazing until I finished it and went to buy another one. The new one that I sampled didn't smelled the same. Also, the owner of the niche perfumery discouraged me to buy another one since it sold like crazy and I had told him that I didn't want to smell like other people. He suggested me other niche fragrances. Then I found my scent from another niche brand. In conclusion, the scent of Aventus is awesome. At least what it used to smell. Ideally, if there weren't batch variations and performance issues I would definitely buy another bottle. I am curious though how does the new bottle of yours compare with the Aventus Absolu. I am thinking to buy it after I test it of course since many influencers say that it has more performance.
I still love aventus and tbh it’s still my favorite fragrance. Tried finding something I like more but haven’t yet. I just carry a travel atomizer and reapply around lunch time
My experience with the newer batches was similar. I recently repurchased Aventus a few months ago after finishing off my 2016-17 bottle (it was my first Aventus bottle and I wore it a lot lol) and while it still smells great and the fruity pineapple is still strong, the performance was a little shorter than the previous. Still, that hasn't deterred me from wearing it, not to mention that I also have 2 clones of it (CDNIM and Pineapple Vintage Vanilla Intense).
Somebody said "Not even Creed can recreate Aventus"!... I agree! 😅

The newer F batch Aventus bottles are amazing in comparison to recent years. I don’t have any issues with performance, but I probably spray a lot more than you😅. But when I wear I can smell all day and get whiffs from my wife and kids also where they’ve come into contact with me throughout the day.

Imho, Aventus just needs maceration. I wouldn't use it as I would a designer Fragrance. But that's just me.
I’ve had experiences with Jomashop.. However, when I referred 2 lady friends of mine to Jomashop, both complained of performance of each fragrance they purchased. The first was PDM Delina Exclusif.. and the other Lamar Kajal. My one friend owned a bottle of PDM from Bloomingdales. The second friend had a sample of Lamar I gave her from Jomashop. I have mixed feelings about Jomashop, they give both women full refunds though.
I still like Aventus. I do not like the way they diluted it. It used to have Legs. Now it’s almost close to skin scent. I can’t hate on it. It’s a boss. But the art died and was replaced by commercialism which is sad. I still own 3 bottles. I doubt I’ll ever buy more but I still revisit them frequently.

Nice scent sold off my 2016 bottle to a happy buyer don’t really ever think about getting another bottle. There are aooo many frags out there to try and enjoy. Just an opinion but my old bottle was very smoky I like the fresher bottles more.
