I literally write down notes when Justin goes over these colognes. So when I make my next purchase I have some background knowledge. I also like the fact that he CATERGORIZES these fragrances so we know what cologne suits what situation and purpose. Thanks man.
I love Tom Ford Beau De Jour. It could easily be a signature scent worn all year long. The price is what is keeping me from that. I have relegated it to special occasions.
Could you create a video featuring the top niche fragrances for spring? Include one fragrance recommendation for work, one for casual outings, and one for date nights.
Justin, your edits give me a good laugh everytime! This type of video is great, especially since I need to be fairly selective with my purchases. Would love this type of video with niche fragrances. Great work as always!
I love this channel for taking the approach of putting fragrances into context, mood and painting an overall picture of how they could work to enhance a certain occasion, weather or mood. Much better than saying which fragrance is "a compliment beast" or complaining about "poor performance" when in fact people simply go anosmic and don't realise it. Kudos
Oh ya. I just picked up Bogart Pour Homme a few weeks ago and love it. It makes me think of if Le Male had a stronger semi- sweet tobacco. Fits my need for a work tobacco.
I categorize how i wear a lot of my fragrances for the most part but sometimes i miss how a specific one smells and wear it no matter the situation. Like a couple days ago it would have been better suited to wear a warm weather semi sophisticated scent but i just felt like wearing Naxos
I'd been looking for an "everyday" fragrance for years. Something that would remind me of the days my Dad wore his signature (Grey Flannel), but different and better. A scent that someone would remember me by. I bought Bottega Veneta Pour Homme based on your recommendation and this is The One (pardon the pun, D&G). I also purchased Bogart Pour Homme. This is a great cheapie which is right up my alley. I'm considering other fragrances from your list. Although I don't own any NICHE colognes (due to price). I'm quite interested, but only one. I would like to see a video on those fragrances you would consider all-around scents for any season/category. Have you done this type of video? Thanks. PEACE.
Its always refreshing to get your take on designer fragrances. I have Eau Sauvage and Bogart, definetly more functional fragrances. Ocean EDP sounds interesting.
I may have to put some of these on my Wish List. Especially as I thin out my collection this year. I'm moving more toward designer niche. In with the new. Out with the old.
Big Fan of L’Homme Ideal I’m out but need to pick it up again. I have a travel size of the ocean EDT I’m curious now about the EDP. Terre De Hermes is on my list.
Finally someone reviews Gucci Oud intense… it’s been my go to fragrance for years.. I am having a hard time finding anything better and I’ve been collecting for years now and nothing beats it
I’m soooo freakin glad that you don’t just throw us a bunch of repetitive popular mainstream fragrances! I’ve become privy to so many lesser known AMAZING fragrances since subscribing. I’m a fan… a big fan of your channel. Been wearing Bogart past couple weeks, also just got Fico do Amalfi and Gravitas Pour Homme this week. Oh yeah, Akdeniz is on the way 👌🏾. Don’t worry, I’ve gotten rid of a ton of fragrances as well. My brother in law really loves me now 😂
On the Pasha De Cartier Absolu I get about 3-4 hours of wear BEFORE it STARTS to sit CLOSE to the SKIN and an OVERALL wear of 8 TO 12 hours. OBVIOUSLY everyone's skin CHEMISTRY is DIFFERENT. GREAT fragrance!
Hey Justin ! Im wearing John Varvatos Vintage that you introduced me to. Thank you so much ! Its such a gem ❤ I have L’Homme Ideal and its a masterpiece!
I love the critical thinking and educational part of this process 🙂 appreciate your guidance and recommendations. Definitely started the wheels turning for me 🙂 take care! 🙂
Intense Oud is a little hard to get. I would suggest getting Honey Aoud as a substitute. Has the oud and the leather without the rose that most oud frags have. It is also cheaper and you get more for your money.
Love the categories! In which categories would you place Sora Dora Gladiator, Givenchy Gentlemen Réserve Privée, Prada L'homme l'eau? What do you think of adding a category like "party/club"?
Summer nights are a big blind spot for me, particularly since I live in the South where it can be 80° at night. Right now I’m hanging my hat on Y EDP and Guerlain Homme EDP. I have a mini bottle of Terre D’Hermes Parfum I haven’t cracked yet, but I think should work.
“TF Tuscan Leather wearing beach goer in 90 degree weather.” Lol!! 😂 😂 Ok so for me as far as designer fragrances goes, I love the scent of Guerlain L’Homme Ideal on a man and one not mentioned so honorable mention from me is Tom Ford Extreme. Sexy sexy. 🎉 Thank you for another great review, Justin!!
Hey i love your videos, i have a suggestion for you of three amazing fragrances, Patek Maison Vert, Patek Maison Merakai Passion and Night de Paris motion by L'Oriental Fragrances
Justin! Did you hear about the newly released (this month) Bvlgari Pour Homme Eau de Parfum? The EDT was released in 1996 and is literally, LITERALLY my favorite fragrance out of the hundreds I own. Check out the note breakdown on the original (EDT): that alone should entice you. I wonder who’s going to be the first to review the EDP? Would love your take on it
Great video, just smelled Eau Sauvage and it’s not bad. I hope you don’t take this wrong at all, totally unrelated to frags but your shirt looks like the lining inside pops jacket from boomerang 😁.
With all honestly i dont find any designers interesting like some are good but they dont excite me anymore, thats why i love your videos, Also it may not be your style but you have to try Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac, its an amazing creamy sexy animalic vanila
I’m surprised you picked Prada Luna Rossa Ocean. You didn’t seem particularly impressed with it before. I’m beginning to like it more & more. It’s ascending from ‘Basic+’ to something else entirely.
Hey Justin I’m digging this list and I appreciate your selection of fragrances to wear everyday and the warm and cooler days. I’m definitely going to write this down and start purchasing them. Quick question,do you have a list like this for niche fragrances? Thanks again for sharing and I will catch you on the next one
Try cdnim oud… by Christian provenzano … it smells soo good. I heard someone compare it to erba pura. But. I haven’t tried that before. I know that the animalistic smell fills the box that it sits in until you spray it.. then it’s fruity with the oud undertone.. you have to review it.
Any fresh fragrance is suitable year round. They just may not be as detectable in very cold air. But if you are often in climate controlled environments, then you’ll be just fine. But I enjoy Kenzo Homme EDP, Precious Liquid Blue Agave, and Tom Ford Oud Minerale.
@@stayfreshproductions I prefer the more oceanic scents and I stay in Indiana so I was wondering which ones would be ideal for that kind of weather. Might check out the prada Luna Rossa ocean EDP too.
Hi bro! Such a question to you as an expert. I really want to take Acqua Di Gio Armani OG ... do I need to spend money on it in 2024? I like him very much, but he was with me a long time ago, people say that he is not so strong. What do you think? Or which flank to choose? Thank you! You are a tiger!
I think Antaeus is even worse than Tuscan Leather for the beach, LOL.. Love Botega and here I can get any of this collection, I really don't think the new line is as good. Eau Givree is incredible. Great choices. I smelled Pasha Noir Absolu, have to give it a full wear though. My go to showstoppers is still Gucci Guilty Absolu and Givenchy Gentleman (1974). Encre Noir A l extreme is another.
Lhomme ideal is my fave! I also have Eau sauvage parfum and my Eau Givree is in the mail!! Can’t wait to try it. Pasha parfum was perfection from that line, not sure it can go up after that, but going to give the new one a smell. Beautiful bottle.
Man I started my niche journey watching your halfeti cedar review, and I have collected quite a collection since then, I just received dark lord by Kilian and Bro! For me that's it, I mean this is the most masculine scent I have ever smelled, sophisticated, manly!, intoxicating, smoky, straight fire!!!🤌🏿
Hey hey hey don't mention brioni EDP intense that's my gatekept cologne dude 😅 I'm surprised you didn't mention Labyrinth of Spices, since you mentioned it a few months back its literally been my scent since then 😂
What, no YSL? No JPG? As much as I respect those houses, that's why we love you, Justin. You do things differently and you've made me discover a bunch of things I wouldn't have checked out otherwise.
Hey, Justin. I added you on Parfumo and Instagram and of course I’m subscribed here on RUclips. Started my true fragrance journey two months ago. Have always loved cologne and scents but now since I’ve started my journey I’ve been digging deep really paying attention to the emotions, notes, research, and the fragrance community. Love your videos. Keep up the work.
That Cartier Pasha de Cartier Noir Absolu smells like stale urine in the opening. If you have kids you know. The opening is not good. But if you can get past that, like 45 minutes past it. It turns into something nice.
I literally write down notes when Justin goes over these colognes. So when I make my next purchase I have some background knowledge. I also like the fact that he CATERGORIZES these fragrances so we know what cologne suits what situation and purpose.

Thank you John! Niche will be a thing as well. 😁
Glad to see some love for Bottega Veneta Pour Homme. This is a hidden gem. Loving your channel Justin.
Can you describe bottega veneta pour homme? Also how much hours lasting?
I love this channel for taking the approach of putting fragrances into context, mood and painting an overall picture of how they could work to enhance a certain occasion, weather or mood. Much better than saying which fragrance is "a compliment beast" or complaining about "poor performance" when in fact people simply go anosmic and don't realise it. Kudos

Glad it was helpful! Thanks!
Some awesome choices, surprised chanel blanche wasn't thrown in somewhere haha but gucci oud for me is a killer elegant fragrance, lovely stuff

What are some aquatic/ oceanic fragrances that are suitable year round.

@stayfreshproductions One Man Show EDT. Trying to make myself like it. Imma try again, maybe, lol.
