Royal Oud was my first niche fragrance but I ended up selling it as I could never find the right moment to wear it. I always went with more crowd pleasing scents. My grandpa caught wind of that and bought me a new bottle. He told me "Not to sell this one. Its a fragrance you need to have for the right moment" so now I got it back and very happy I do. I forgot how amazing it smelled.
I had Adg Profumo and enjoyed it so much!!!....but I would have an allergic reaction to it (would make me teary-eyed) so I gave it to my uncle......but 4 years (in 2023) later, after changing how I eat (dropped the sugar) , I tried it again and had no allergic reaction to it, I bought it the next month (February 2023) and I'm enjoying it again 🙏🏿.....Love this fragrance.
Great video. I was the recipient of your bottle of John Varvatos Artisan Pure (and Bleu De Chanel edp) years ago when I think you said that you were moving at the time. I still put it out every Spring/Summer 😁
Love this concept. I have been through the same struggle with a number of fragrances for various reasons. Chergui was one. Mancera Pearl and Choco Violet, Amouage Interlude Black Iris, One Million Royal and JPG La Male Elixir. The last 2 I know seem very new to already have gotten rid of and repurchased. What happened is i was trying to find a strategic way to reduce my collection without the difficulty of going back and forth, so I decided to go all niche and sold the vast majority of my designer. Those were among the first 2 to go. A few months later I was missing them both and repurchased and decided I would just be VERY selective about what designer I purchase but primarily purchase niche moving forward. I also repurchased Red Tobacco. Exact experience as you with Lemon Mint. I originally had the screw cap. Now I have the magnetic and it seems a tad weaker but that makes it a little better for me because Red Tobacco was a bit much in the screw cap
Love Declaration. Strikes me like a professional hiding tattoos under long sleeves. I only get the cumin up close, in the air, it strikes me more green and herbaceous. Such a fun and interesting fragrance. I've been lucky to pick up several flankers, still need to pick up the parfum
I have Artisan Pure, The One, Loud Lemon Mint, Herod, Viking, & Declaration. I had to go and spray half of them as I have't worn them in ages and quite frankly forgot how good they are. I need to sell off some fragrances. There are too many that seem to get forgotten even though I really enjoy them when I remember to try them.
Of my "small" almost 40 fragrance collection. Aoud Lemon Mint is definetly the most unique in my collection. Adding it into my rotation this week since the weather is getting better.
My girlfriend and I both love Creed Viking. The cologne version as well. I personally love the fact that it’s reminiscent of Old Spice as it adds a blast of comforting nostalgia to the expertly crafted composition. Keep rocking it!
Creed really does fresh fragrances right. That original vetiver is just a beauty (even though I don't wear it, I sincerely appreciate it). Viking is a classic, those may be two of my favorites from the house. I don't think Viking smells like an old man either 😆 the beauty of fragrances is what smells good is subjective. All of our noses are different. If a scent gives you a special feeling, wear it without apologies.
I’ve gotten rid of bottles that I bought but wasn’t ready for. I then got rid of them and bought them back soon as I was ready. Terre d’Hermes heads that list. I had pasha de Cartier edt and let it go. I missed it and bought it back. Looking back at the stuff I’ve done I gotta say you do have to be slightly nuts to last in this hobby. Proud to admit that I am ever so slightly nuts 🤣
I have back ups. I’ve sold off a lot of them but certain ones I just can’t let go. I can always flip them if need be. Also I get back ups well below discount paid 150 for a sealed back up of Chanel sycamore which is now retailing at over 300. I’m more than half way through my original bottle bought in 2020 I’m confident I’ll get to my back up.
Had a decant of PDM Galloway, a few years ago. Initially didn’t care for it. Whilst Christmas shopping in early December 2023 put my nose on it again and fell in love with it. Picked up a bottle from JomaShop in early January and it’s now in my rotation. Can’t wait to experience it in the high heat of Texas. Keep up the great work, Justin!
@@robertjaster2k that’s the one I have. Without having smelled the non-metallic cap version, I honestly don’t have a point of reference. However, I absolutely LOVE this scent. It’s just an overall pleasant fragrance and beast mode in terms of longevity.
I also love Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint , but have a few friends , and seen some reviewers say it smells like Lemon scented Lysol Toilet cleaner ! I guess that is what makes the Fragrance World go round !
Totally agree with you on Guerlain L'homme Ideal Cologne. I initially had bought a 100ml bottle and really enjoyed it but for some reason I sold it and later on I really missed it so I bought a 50ml bottle and use it sparingly since it's discontinued. Another fragrance I got rid of and reacquired is Bvlgari Aqva Amara. Such a unique yet beautiful scent. Keep up the great content Justin! Shout out from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Got em both. Wore Bvlgari Aqva Amara 2 months ago in the warm weather and the waitress asked who's smelling like that. I said me and she said she'd love it for her boyfriend even though she might not because they were having problems. Told her the name and that it's discontinued but could still find it
Chergui, Chergui, Chergui .... one of the unique niche fragrances that introduced me to the western/European niche genre not to mention Serge Lutens him self , and it was through your channel that I was encouraged to purchase this fragrance after smelling it in Sephora.
I bought a bottle of Iris de Fath and I love it. My puppy knocked it over and I lost about 2/3 of the fragrance. I keep thinking I should replace it. I might give the new EDP a chance. I will never need to replace the perfume. I don’t know if I’ll get through what I have on hand. I’ve only had one big purge. Some can never be replaced so I don’t get rid of fragrances anymore. I revisit my fragrances and I love having a fragrance library.

I really, really dont want to smell like an "old man," so I wear Viking at home on chill days, lol. Xerjoff Nio serves a similar purpose as Artisan Pure. Great video, as always.
I really like Dolce& Gabanna The One edp. I was wondering if you have had any experience with their velvet collection. I found clones of them from Milestone at a Marshall store for $15 and was surprised how good they smelled. They also do a clone Green Irish Tweed that is pretty good.
When you mentioned Declaration you talked about going to original first before flankers... I would love to know if you have other designer fragrances that you would recommend starting with the original first or just recommend going right to certain flankers.
Ill take Herod over overrated mentholated Layton any day. I recently bought Herod again after selling it over a year ago. Idk why I sold it in the first place. It's funny how the taste of scent changes over exposure... is it our preference that is changing?.. or our pallet developing?... I was head over heals for Initio Side Effect when I first smelled it... but over time, the flame dwindled... I still really like it, it just doesn't have the same effect on me... that's part of what is making this hobby expensive.. my wondering nose
I got rid of Dunhill Agar Wood. Then I thought “was it really that bad?” and bought it again. And yeah is was that bad so I gave it away a second time.
Is it just me but wasn't it you that had Dior Sauvage & rebought it??? For me, over the years, it didn't happen yet that I rebought something after getting rid of it. When I'm really ready to get rid of a fragrance, it's gone.
Anyone remember Canali? This was my go to years back I know it’s been discontinued, but I have been trying to find anything out there that is close to it. Anybody got any ideas or suggestions?

I believe there are many fragrances that came out in the 90s and earlier that have been reformulated today to be not as strong as they were. But there are still many modern fragrances today that perform just fine

The only back up bottle I have is a full 125ml bottle of Acqua Di Gio Profumo.
Aoud lemon mint is 🔥. I think it’s slept on compared to the hype cedrat boise gets.
I , Wish, He, Got , Rue21 Cologne,
Which do you prefer, Cartier Declaration or Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint?
Very different fragrances that are hard to compare. Probably Declaration
@@stayfreshproductions True, they only share being a little fresh and not in a showergel kind of way.
The same time happened to me with Chergui.
It’s good to see you! It feels like it’s been some time since I’ve seen you here. Thank you for watching. I hope you’re well!
You never need a backup bottle with that many fragrances. It just has a mental effect :)
So true! It’s a natural process
I got rid of Dunhill Agar Wood. Then I thought “was it really that bad?” and bought it again. And yeah is was that bad so I gave it away a second time.
😅
Just wondering, have you ever finished a full bottle (50ml or 100ml) of any fragrance?
Yes
That could be a new video! Which fragrances you have used a full bottle of! @@stayfreshproductions
If I have Vétiver PC by ROJA. Is it worth having Creeds vetiver
They’re quite different, but sample first
Is it just me but wasn't it you that had Dior Sauvage & rebought it??? For me, over the years, it didn't happen yet that I rebought something after getting rid of it. When I'm really ready to get rid of a fragrance, it's gone.
There are many others that I’ve rebought outside of this video, and Sauvage is one of them…but I only bought it for content. Not for enjoyment.
Anyone remember Canali? This was my go to years back I know it’s been discontinued, but I have been trying to find anything out there that is close to it. Anybody got any ideas or suggestions?
I’ve never tried it, but I’ve heard people are finding decent deals on eBay every now and then.
@@stayfreshproductionsThanks! Worth a shot asking. I've seen them there too but $200+ might be a bit steep for that one.
Looking to be one of the lucky addicts I mean frag heads on the receiving end of what JC don’t want 😂😂😂 jk….or not 🤭🤔🥴love the video and I see a few that I need to check out. Serge is one of those I want to try. 🤜🏽🤛🏽 great video as usual King.
😆thank you 🙏🏾
Great ❤❤ to see u describe the perfume
Thanks for watching!
Great video
I tried Artisan Pure and disliked it. It smelled like lemon drain unclogging liquid. It was too sharp for my nose
love the creed
Artisan pure smells really nice. But performance is just non existent. Sadly it kept me from getting a bottle
I think D&G The One EDP closest resembles La Nuit de L'homme... My Serge Lutens Chergui on its way
La Nuit, interesting. I don’t quite get that, but they’re not millions of miles away from each other. Enjoy Chergui
Sir please bring some content regarding pure perfume oils or attars
They’re not my favorite, but I’ve done content on them years ago
I’ve never sold any fragrance after purchase
Viking was my Sotd
What do you think of Rehab Initio?
Haven’t tried it
We don’t always see Mancera in your videos but when we do.. oh la la
this channel is awesome
Thank you 🙏🏾
Do Anyone know that Babycat is or going to be discontinued???
I believe it is discontinued at least in North America
Thanx Justin
How do you wear those Creeds if they have literally no dent in them. LoL
Incorrect
What are some legit platforms that you sell your fragrance
I’ve always sold directly to my audience on RUclips and instagram. I know that is an unhelpful example for most people. But I would consider looking for fragrance groups on facebook.
I need another bottle of I’Deal!!
Do you think the majority of fragrances today have worse performance than the 90’s or is my nose getting old?
I believe there are many fragrances that came out in the 90s and earlier that have been reformulated today to be not as strong as they were. But there are still many modern fragrances today that perform just fine
Thank's
The crying baby covered in Joop Homme caught me off guard 😂😂. Well done. JC 1:0 Me
😆
Is it just me or does Herod smell like a 'older' la nuit de lhomme? Just me?
I don’t really get that. But our noses are all different!
