Well in India we can't leave medical College in middle if you, you have to pay a really very big amount of money which most of ppl can't afford so here once you get into medical school you can come out only after degree
In med school I don't rlly hang out or go out too much with friends since it's not my scene. What I do for fun tho is spending time with myself, doing what I love to do in my down time. A lot better than forcing myself to be around ppl, even if they're my friends. Socializing just tires me out too much lol

A lot of my friends regret going into med school but we're too far in to quit. 6+ years of nonstop studying and stress, highly competitive environment, senior doctors who look down on you, very little free time if any depending on what you want to specialise in, friendships lost, no earnings or independance compared to others, and looking forward to horrible work hours and a high stress, high responsibility job and possible student loans to pay off. The list goes on. It's so people don't end up regretting their decision as many unfortunately do.
My dad is 37 and still a med student I was born when he was 27 and he said that he will be finished with it in another 5 years but everyday of my life I think it’s not fair.. He’s been doing med school for 10 years already and still not done. I think it’s not fair that I can’t see my dad on Christmas or my sometimes my birthday sometimes new year or Halloween or special occasion. It’s not fair how he can’t sleep for 36 hours no break at all. He’s always getting sick and tired of it and he doesn’t listen to my grandma anymore. It’s scaring me a lot bc my BFFs mom died due to a heart attack bc of work stress and I’m scared that that will happen to my dad too. It’s really not fair that I can only see my dad twice a year and my mom lives somewhere else and only comes once a month. I just live with my grandma and she has to take two jobs at 62 years old just to get money and my mom is always asking for money from my grandma but she doesn’t work at all.. my mom never acted like a parent to me and since the day i was born she handed me over to my grandma and Never Took care of me.
