Thank you for the glow plug diag procedure, do you not keep LIN COMM waveforms in your library to keep the LIN HEADER SIGNATURE or each component, this is a good idea for a few different reasons. The HEADER is the first several square waves of each data packet, it has a specific pattern/signature for each component, mostly if the wrong alternator is installed with the wrong part number, the HEADER will not be correct and the alternator will not charge, some parts stores give the wrong aftermarket part number. If there is more than one LIN component on a single wire, it is also nice to be able to tell quickly which component is dead based on which signature and packet is not communicating properly, cheers.
