Glad to see you guys reacting to Tame Impala and this album in particular. PLEASE do "Let it Happen" next.
This! The whole album is great but definitely this song!
For sure that's gotta be the next one if ever. Love this album!
Seconded!!!!
Hells yeah
Yes!!!
“New person, same old mistakes” is a gem
Yessss!
Rihanna version of "New Person" is great as well, also love Sturgill Simpson's cover of Rihanna's "desperado" but I digress.
That song is fascinating it's so repetitive in a way but feels fresh every time
@@Markingramforheisman The rihanna cover is what introduced to Tame. Love NPSOM.
My daughter knows I like metal, but she suggested this song to me and I was blown away Great song
No one asked
@@letsgotomarsman dry
Beautiful
@@letsgotomarsman whatever shit you're going through in life I hope you recover, but don't take it out on random strangers online
@@greyfox4838 Amen to that
An ALL TIME Album. It's one of those records you play start to finish and want to play it all over again. It has staying power. Glad you guys enjoyed it. It's worth reviewing the whole album track by track.
Factsss listening to this album for the first time was an experience
Seconded, this album is full of 100% winners cover to cover
not a single skip - incredible album
I love this album so much. I’ve been a Tame Impala fan since the beginning and this album matched the mood of my life perfectly when it came out and I will love it forever. Can’t go wrong with reacting to any Tame Impala
Same with “Lonerism” and “Innerspeaker”. 10/10 albums
Feels Like We Only Go Backwards is such a great song by them
actually its one guy
@@juru6887every tame Impala songs makes me wanna cry
This bass line gets me in soul every time. I remember finding this album just to listen to this song over and over but ended up loving the entire thing. So many good songs!
Let It Happen, Mind Mischief, Expectation, and One More Hour are the songs I recommend from each album of theirs! Tame Impala has (rightfully so) blown up throughout the years, incredible band!
Yes also tomorrow’s dust is a good recommendation for the slow rush
Mind mischief my fav song by them
@@seanharris7393 him ;)
tame impala is just kevin, he said it in an interview, the band is just there for performances
Tame impala is Kevin Parker lol, the band does live performances but Kevin is Tame Impala, he does literally every instrument on the albums. It’s just physically impossible for him to play them all at live shows.
Iconic bassline. Glad you enjoyed!
Kevin Parker is a musical genius and he's so humble too
An incredibly addicting song. Went through a streak for months where I'd listen to this at least 5 times a day. Great vibe. Rest of the album is just as good and creative.
Kevin Parker almost didn't put it in the album too! Thank God he did
I'm going through this right now
Tame Impala is nuts. Thanks for getting to them. Kevin Parker has a pretty big history of working with Hip hop artists as a producer. And their sound has been sampled through the years
Why do people say THEY? TP is a he.
Tame Impala is so underrated! My other favorite song is “Borderline”
There are so many good Tame Impala songs its hard to recommend just 1 or 2. You guys should check out: Eventually, New Person Same Old Mistakes, Mind Mischief, Borderline, Is it True...the list goes on
I discovered Tame Impala after hearing Sundress by ASAP Rocky in which he sampled the song Why wont you make up your mind. Since then I went back and listened to all Tame Impala's album. Incredible music.
Innerspeaker, Lonerism, Currents, Slow Rush its honestly a must listen to most of the songs in those albums.
"Too smooth for y'all to recommend." 😂 TI is definitely some genre crossing goodness. "Let It Happen" and "Elephant" are both worth checking out.
When I first heard “elephant” I thought it was a lost Beatles track 😂
So happy that yall are doing this! I agree with another comment, if you get back to this band, do "Let It Happen!" Not smooth in the same way, but super cool track! "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" is another great track.
I'd also love to see you guys check out Thundercat. "Them Changes" or "Dragonball Durag" would be right up your alley. If you do the latter, PLEASE do the video with it, it's hilarious
yessss! Thundercat is amazing!
band? it's one guy
Rhianna covered their song "new person, same old mistakes"
Never heard of them and saw them live not realizing how popular they are. Put on a great performance!
The insane thing is that it is actually just one guy, writing, producing and singing everything while playing every instrument by himself aswell. Just on live performances he is assisted by his friends
Tame Impala should be the new JID of this Channel. Please more reactions, because they Are amazing
Congrats on getting to this song. If your experience is anything like mine, you’re now gonna hear this song all the time.
PLEASE DO MORE!!! Let it Happen is my favorite, but New Person, Same ol Mistakes is also incredible. But The Moment is probably the next most “poppy” song. Most of his music is really meant for long grooves.
“This is too smooth for y’all to recommend”. Perfectly said. Always fun to watch you both discover new songs.
this song is massive i’m surprised you guys haven’t heard it
First time I've heard of him, added the song to my playlist before it was over. Thanks guys for introducing me to new music. Love what you do.
Yall nailed it with the roller skating vibe. Now you gotta do Borderline by Tame Impala. Very similar groove to this banger
Agreed. Borderline is my favorite! Please react to the “Single Version” that is 4:35. It is much better than its 3:58 counterpart.
Tame Impala is one of the greatest artists of the 2010s, period. Currents is an amazing album start to finish, all of his albums are the kind you need to listen to from beginning to end. his first 2 are basically straight up psychedelic rock, his last 2 incorporate more synthwave/electro-pop but still have that psych backbone and feel. I’m really happy you guys finally did a Tame Impala reaction, if you dug this track you will for sure enjoy the rest of the catalogue!
Never thought you’d get around to this. Crazy. Now; hopefully some Thundercat- Them changes next for some funk and a crazy baseline.
Let It Happen, Yes I'm Changing, New Person Same Old Mistakes, and Eventually would be awesome songs to react to from this album as well, loved the reaction!
Man I love you dudes so great to see a channel like this. I love discovering new music and sometimes I get to go on the journey with you guys and that's DOPE! This song was SMOOTH as butter 🧈
DEFINITELY NEED MORE TAME IMPALA REACTIONS
The music video is a masterpiece itself
That girl though, Christ
So glad to see you guys digging this one! This entire album is 🔥🔥
I’m so happy y’all got to this one. This song was one of the main reasons I picked up the bass. Cheers gentleman! Keep it up.
Check out Let it Happen, Mind Mischief, New Person Same old Mistakes, Breathe Deeper, and many more from them!
i love the different type of music reaction!!! thanks for listening to this one. glad to see you guys branching out on the channel :) love the vibes
This is so awesome! This is a timeless album and great one to react to. Thanks for the video
Kevin Parker is a genius and every song of his is a masterpiece.
Earlier Tame Impala was heavier on the psychedelic side. More recently you find tracks with the R&B vibe, like this and Borderline (which you’ll also like).
So happy you guys finally got around to Tame Impala!! Currents is one of my favourite albums of all time. Would LOVE to see your reaction to “Eventually” off the same album
Great band! Been a fan for years. Seeing them in Melbourne soon
Happy to see you guys reacting to one of my Tame Impala who is Incredible and one of my favorite musicians and group!!! Love him!!!! Keeps me hopeful that music is getting better today!!!!
All of Tame Impala's albums are bangers!
Glad to see y'all covering this!
So glad you got to this. Tremendous band and song, this one is probably my favorite of his.
I've been waiting for this exact reaction video for years! I was one of the people recommending on Patreon, it made me so happy to see this pop up this morning. Glad you liked it, the perfect gateway to Tame Impala. I'd really be interested to see your takes on "Let It Happen", not quite as smooth and danceable as this song, but the creativity and composition of that song is amazing. Or you could react to one of the first two albums and it's almost like a completely different band, with a more straight-up 60's rock sound. I'd recommend "Solitude Is Bliss". Appreciate you guys and how much thought you put into these reactions!
I love tame impala more than life. Seriously saved me at some dark times. great reaction guys!
im happy more people hearing this song now been cranking it since 2018
I'm so glad my friend introduced me to Tame Impala in college. Literally my favorite artist now
"Let It Happen" has to be the next one.
so happy to see you guys react to tame impala!! ive been a fan since middle school and i think kevin is probably one of the best musicians working rn. i know you guys dont mind some of the more riff-heavy stuff to check out some of the stuff off his first album interstellar!!!
Love the videos guys
I kinda forgot about this project, amazing as always!
You guys are my favorite music reaction channel by far man
Finally. Lets the psych rock and 70s break trough this channel. Love you guys.
Seeing you guys nod to the groove always makes me laugh and feel good
When people say there isn't any good new music these days I melt their face off with Tame Impala. Works every time
Every time I listen to this song, my imagination just goes haywire! Good reaction fellas
I love the genuine smiles that music brings to people
Love this song so much. None of their/his other stuff quite hits like this (though I'm happy to be proven wrong on that).
It's already so good and then the "I was doin' fine without ya" bit comes in and brings it home. Masterpiece.
I like this song!! I ended hearing this song a few years ago from a tarot reader. She always adds a song to each pile and you get to pick which pile of cards your drawn to and I got this song lol. I’ve found a lot of cool music because of her lol!!
So stoked to see Tame Impala on your channel! Their earlier stuff is favorite. 'Mind Mischief' off 'Lonerism' is one of their best songs from that era/sound (more 60's/70's psych rock/RnB)
So jealous you got to listen to this for the first time, what a tune man!!
This song and the album are goated
this is the most consistent video of them not stopping. i think they like it.
one of my all-time favorite pop songs
3:37 I love how y’all described this. It’s so begging for roller disco
Oh my God, I love this album. I think I've listened to some portion of it, if not all of it, at least once a month since it came out. It's so good. Just put on headphones, close your eyes, and listen from beginning to end. It's a whole journey and fantastically done.
BANGER
Love Tame Impala. I’m glad you guys reacted to this song. Like others have said, there are many songs by him that are great. I personally love the inner speaker and lonerism albums even more than this currents album. I’d definitely recommend checking those out!
Really glad u guys enjoyed it.
I feel like "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" from the same album as this is a song you guys would really like. The drums are so fat on that one, it's amazing
Love Tame Impala. This album is funky as hell and really delves more into a poppier sound than the previous albums. If you want to hear the more psychedelic/ indie rock side check out songs from their first two albums. Feels Like We Only Go Backwards and Solitude is Bliss are bangers for sure. On those first couple albums Kevin Parker sounds like if John Lennon leaned even further into psychedelia.
I got introduced to this record recently. I do guitar improv and those final chords are such a joy to play over. There's a lot of clever songwriting in his tunes.
I never heard of Tame Impala either till recently someone on another react video pointed out 'Same o'l mistake' by Rihanna was a cover of a Tame Impala song. And i love that song so i had to hear the original! Man did they not disappoint! Great stuff. Funny how not long after, yall react to a song of thiers for the first time on this channel. Great stuff.
The whole album is fantastic
Them: *intrigued by multi-instrumentalists*
King Gizzard would like to enter the chat
I enjoyed watching you guys enjoying that. He/TP is real good
Glad you got around to these guys - to keep the different dance vibes going check out Royal Blood Typhoons
Hey guys , I really loved this video! Tame impala is o e of my favorite artist of all times , so glad you made this , if I can recommend one song . Listen to “Borderline” the singing there reminds me a little of Earthgangs piece when he was one Dreamvilles song “Sacrifices” which is one of my fave songs . Trust me you guys will like it ! Take care and enjoy yourselves !
Great reaction. Love tame Impala
Wow cool band, that's for introducing me to them.
As an old subscriber! Im happy to see we have come a long way !! Would love to see one more hour by Kevin or cause I’m a man !!
have funn enjoying this amazing band(man)(w/e). Lots of amazing songs
You gotta hear Let It Happen next (THE FULL 7 MIN SONG, NOT THE RADIO EDIT). I am so interested to see your guys' reaction to it especially one part in particular
Hell yeah! Please do more tame Impala! New person, same old mistakes, music to walk home by, Eventually, Mind mischief, you could pick any song honestly
love this reaction guys! please do either “let it happen” next or “new person, same old mistakes” these go so hard
Love the tame reaction! One more hour off of the most recent album, and apocalypse dreams from lonerism gotta be in the queue
For some reason I kept forgetting to check out Tame Impala, but I had a feeling this gotta be a great project, thank you so much for reminding me to check it out! I was just listening to Rush, Gojira and stuff like that for last few months, needed some new good music
THE song that got me into Tame Impala and I mean I was really into Tame Impala for a few years. Currents was a phenomenal album.
I’ve kinda moved on but I still enjoy listening occasionally, although some songs bring back very specific memories…more so than with any artist/ song I can ever recall.
I’m glad you guys liked this one so much but it’s really just a small taste of what Tame Impala is.
“Apocalypse Dreams” is another must listen for Tame Impala!
Welcome to the tribe guys!🤘🏽
Oh wow!! I'm most of a metal guy, but I really enjoy Trip hop, funk, jazz, good pop, so I can enjoy this too. Added to my list. Thanks again guys. Dat bass!
You need to do Let It Happen next!! It’s an absolute MUST
Love this one 💜💖
Yessss finally!!! Love Tame Impala
that whole album is fire! also love the song "glass half full of wine"!!
Tame Impala is dope! Definitely should listen to/react to more -- dude is crazy talented.
Yall should check out King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard another aussie pshyce band. Almost all their albums explore differnt genres whether its jazz, folk or thrash metal. Definitly my favourite band of recent times!
any specific song recommendations??
@@IVVTT Crumbling Castle is pretty great
New Person, Same Old Mistakes is a must listen by Tame Impala.
That song is amazing
tame impala - disciples is also amazing! It's so short always gotta play it twice!!
