About the kei trucks, although it is as flat as pooltable around here your videos still make me wanna buy one. Pretty rare here unfortunately. Greetings from the Netherlands, Mark
I absolutely adore these little kei trucks, some day I hope to own one. I've always had the same fear as you that they're more of a novelty but it's good to hear that they have some performance to back them up.
Same as you I have always wanted one, yes they are a great secondary vehicle to have around, I use mine for taking garbage to the dump and hauling lumber and plywood, a full 4x8 sheet of plywood fits good in the bed. Take care buddy and have a merry Christmas 😊
They are awsome little trucks! We have one and I am so glad we decided to get it. It is the 2x4 variant because we don't have the 4x4 one here in SA unfortunately. Does ha e a 1200cc motor thou:D
@@Mikefestiva love these videos! I'm currently in the market for a Honda or Suzuki mini in Washington state. Was wondering where you and your brother went to get his and if you liked the seller? Thanks , Josh
@@joshpoe Hey Josh I bought mine from a private seller on CL but if I did it over again I would have just bought a stock truck from an importer like my brother did and do a few simple mods to the truck as time went on. Both the Honda and Suzuki’s are good reliable mini trucks. Here’s a video on my brothers YT channel of going to buy his truck. The importer is in Portland and I think they are called Motorcycle Warehouse, I suggest you call them and see what they have in stock, they don’t always keep there website current on new stock. Here’s my brothers video 👍 ruclips.net/video/ZieKrX7I9i8/видео.html
If you run them across a scale, they have pretty close to a fifty/fifty front to rear weight distribution. And everything heavy is down low. So they are actually very stable.
In the late 80s I was slater and works for a roofing company with a fleet of these Suzuki carrys and we absolutely hammered them as hard as they would go on any terrain and in 4 years with that company I have no recollection of ever having any them breakdown. Fabulous vehicles if your happy going 45mph. Love the video man
Love the Kei truck content! Thank you for the video!! You could literally document anything using those trucks- Work on your property, parts runs into town, dump runs, grocery getting or just a trip to get a bite to eat with the family. Love seeing them in action.
I love that added Tachometer! that and the red interior paneling just makes this vehicle kinda pop out. The forest where you live is absolutely incredible!!!
I you want one of these, get it. You won't be disappointed. Especially if you're thinking about getting a side by side. Don't waste your money. I bought a Honda Acty van and it's my daily driver. I don't think I can go back to a normal sized vehicle now.
Thanks for checking out my channel! Yes these little trucks are really great 👍 I have many videos on my channel using my truck on my land and off-roading 🙂
Best thing I did to mine was the ol Lincoln locker. Goes anywhere, and does donuts on dry pavement. Built an exoskeleton around the cab, more to protect the windshield. Winch mounts/ hitches front and rear. Very handy little truck, hasn’t had an easy life, but really no issues to speak of. Also, spliced into the front axle solenoid with a switch for low range 2wd. And a skid plate up front, the radiator would pack full of weeds/debris and run hot, the skid plate keeps the stuff from getting in, and still runs cool
That Honda might have made the steep hill with better tyres, both look great and will not easily tip over as their weight balance is 50/50 almost and low centre of gravity for heavy parts on the vehicles. Love them!
I used to have one for about 3 months, was amazing, fun and reliable as hell but never took it offroad at all, should have! im sure I'll get another one eventually to do this with! Looks like an absolute blast!
Super cool little trucks. It looks like you're on the rainy side of the cascades. It's such a beautiful part of the country. I want to make it out there some day.
Great video! If you want to stop most of the mud on your mirrors and doors, my Hijet benefited with some wide mudflaps behind the FRONT tires. There's SO many people that would love these little trucks if they tried one!
Haha I was ready to change that out when I first bought it, but haven’t gotten around to it yet, maybe it will stay 😂 Thanks for checking out my new video! Happy holidays!

Just stumbled upon your channel as I saw you in a comment in another, the universe works in mysterious ways but I've been really considering an Acty amongst many other options as a daily (of course I'd give her the works with proper thermal protection and every reliability upgrade possible as I'm in northern Alberta) but with this video I was reminded how much fun these little guys can be and I'm sold! Thank you, I'll be purchasing one this spring!
As I spend more time driving around in my brothers Honda Acty I realize I think the AWD is better then the 4wd that my Carry has, the Acty feels better in the snow then my Carry. I also find myself putting my Carry into 4WD a lot just to turn around on grass, mud and slippery conditions just because it’s so light in the rear, the Acty is always hooking up and works really well 🙂👍 Take care
I think you're my spirit animal bro. Just found your channel while looking at reviews for a plasma torch. I've had a Mazda Scrum dump (Suzuki Carry Variant) for a couple years, awesome little trucks ain't they? Love the channel man, take care.

You are absolutely right, they are not build for being toys. I would be jealous but unfortunately I don't fit in those cars (although my income would fit way better to a micro car than my big car does, sigh). 2) I guess that the white one would do even better with a moderat lift kit. And yours would still do good enough with not so tall rims and tires on it. It would definitely be quieter too. Your brother's winter tires seem to do just fine and the size suits better for driving on normal roads/freeways than your rough threaded ones.
