I wished more people would appreciate music from bands like Twilight Sad. It breaks my heart to hear they struggle so much to live from their beautiful art.
They're huge in Scotland, and even the UK. They're opening for the Cure ... Robert Smith has been a supporter. I was at a packed show at Barrowlands last week ...
Apart from the fact that their music is sublime, and they are amazing musicians and songwriters, God I love how his accent shines through every note. So happy to see artists keep their natural accents.
They have supported The Cure for a good while, so Robert Smith likes them, there were excellent at the Hydro in Scotland great band need to see more of them ❤️👍
I first saw them supporting Idlewild at Glasgow Barrowlands (if my memory serves me correctly). I remember hearing one line and melody that stuck with me...'the kids are on fire in the bedroom' 🎶. I went home and looked them up and have never looked back. Hands down one of my favourite bands ever. Phenomenal!
Being from Texas, I’ve come to realization im more than likely gonna have to go to the twilight sad instead of them coming to me. They’re worth every mile. Everytime I have glass of whiskey I put this on and just submerge myself in this. Perfect in my book. ❤️
I love the Twilight Sad so so much! Thank you to The Cure for introducing this AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL bad to my world!!🖤🖤🖤I was fortunate enough to see 4 shows on this last tour with The Cure in 2023! They floored me every time. I’ll forever be a fan!
The interview was refreshingly honest and down to earth, especially the bit about Scott. Love love love these guys, can't wait to see them next summer with The Cure and Mogwai in Glasgow!
Saw these fellas last night supporting the Cure in Boston. First time I'd heard them and thought they were brilliant. So glad to be able to see them live. Instantly a fan. Thank you.
Absolutely my new favorite band! I wish I would have discovered them before this week. I hope they tour the states again. James Graham's voice is tapped into other worlds. ❤
I am from Mexico City, and I saw The Twilight Sad opening for The Cure , It is definitely one of my favorite bands, its lyrics are very deep and beautiful. Also the drums and guitars are so intense. I just love their music and i know they will be a considered as a cult band.
I like The Twilight Sad even more after seeing how emotional James got when talking about Frightened Rabbit. It's a very earnest way to show oneself, and it's incredible
I saw these guys support Mogwai back in November and when they performed their cover of Keep Yourself Warm by Frightened Rabbit, I fell in love with them! They do me proud!
He performs with such conviction and emotion. How is this band still struggling? They should be multi millionaires, touring around the world. Reminds me of Alice In Chains.
DIfferent times, man.. back then ppl really bought records that would support artists financially. Nowadays there's RUclips, Spotify and some other media so ppl aren't as hungry as it was anymore. Touring can only help so much
If this band had come out in 1980 they would be icons. They just came out too late to be appreciated. I have heard them twice live and they are amazing.
Literally blown away by the performance!! I've been their fan for a couple of years now and The Twilight Sad just never stop releasing brilliant music! Cannot wait for the new album 😍
His explanation of playing KYW for all the lonely FR fans out there is so touching. Despite how much it must hurt him, still thinking about fans and carrying on Scott's legacy. Not to mention his own incredible band TTS.
WHAT IVE BEEN SAYIN. Remember some of their really early live performances. I enjoy it looking back, but some of it was REALLLL rough. Some of was just bad mixing though if I remember correctly. The level of growth is insane
Tal cual! Excelente como aumentan la intensidad llegando al final. La voz, la guitarra, la fuerza de la batería, y bajo y teclado marcando.... Increíble

This Band is fantastic it breaks my heart as well to see a band with such raw emotional talent struggle.
Agree. I love this band, cheers from RIO!
Keeps it real, also see british sea power.
I didn't know. They are so great
They're huge in Scotland, and even the UK. They're opening for the Cure ... Robert Smith has been a supporter. I was at a packed show at Barrowlands last week ...
In my opinion, the twilight sad are the modern day joy division and certainly deserve a lot more attention than they get.
Just saw them open for The Cure last weekend! So glad that I got to witness their talent live. Will definitely recommend them to friends.
Apart from the fact that their music is sublime, and they are amazing musicians and songwriters, God I love how his accent shines through every note. So happy to see artists keep their natural accents.
Me too , it's rather unusual and very endearing!
Agree 100%, I feel it makes it feel more authentic
Much love to my Scottish heritage
this band has made me cry more than any other band.
Next to Oasis
@@darrenthemalekaren3121 LOL!
Thus they are aptly named. For me it is Frightened Rabbit.

Who the hell doesn't like The Twilight Sad?
They are okay. Not mind blowing. Maybe they will grow on me. They need to change their name, but I realize that could sound petty.
I like The Twilight Sad even more after seeing how emotional James got when talking about Frightened Rabbit. It's a very earnest way to show oneself, and it's incredible
They are fantastic. Seeing James wear that necklace for Scott Hutchison and FR is so amazing.
Frightened Rabbit Necklace... Great, now I´m double sad

Alice In Chains? How? More like New Order or Interpol.
Not like Alice in Chains at all...
@@RockSchooled i think he was referring to the raw talent but the general lack of major success
@@RockSchooled Alice in chains?? Lol more like My morning jacket or like talking heads
I love Cold days from the Birdhouse! So many great bands out of Glasgow. So glad i had the chance to live there. KEXP great as usual!
If this band had come out in 1980 they would be icons. They just came out too late to be appreciated. I have heard them twice live and they are amazing.

Really bummed I missed their last show in October...They just keep getting better and better with time.
