Not as dark as the one I'm in now. I was listening to this the last time I saw, and left behind, my sick mother. She passed away yesterday morning.

She melts me...like she figured out how to extract all the sounds of my soul 🥲 I appreciate her so much! It's funny, I stumbled upon her so haphazardly. Before I found Chelsea Wolfe (who I was just blessed with seeing live in Boston! 🤘🏻🖤) between the two of them, we have two dark muses that share their beautiful vulnerability through their musical expressions. How lucky are we? ❤️ The drumming on Darkhorse has always mesmerized me. So cool to see/hear it live!
They are all excellent. I was having a "nobody makes good music any more" argument with a fellow wrinkly so poked around to see what's happening now and found these guys. There is always good music being made.
I love how they sound in this performance, it's so fantastic. The tone of guitars is just beautiful. Drums sounds so unique: snare, toms, cymbals... And her vocal touches my heart with every note and makes me fly away in my imagination. There is so much space between instruments and notes although they sound so amazingly heavy. Pure beauty !
I don't like how i barely hear the vocals in the first 3 songs but DAMN, i couldn't imagine Light Songe sounding better than it already was, this version knocks it out of the park !

You rarely see a "most played" segment on a video at the start of a video. Means just about everyone who put this on didn't skip a thing and listened through the whole set. Just shows how fantastic this is, wow. Only recently discovered Emma after being a Wolfe fan for about a year now, such talent!

Just turned on to ERR and find her scintillating lyrical intensity and musical brilliance moving beyond words. Simultaneously heart wrenching and inspiring. A gorgeous performance. Kudos.

I saw her open for MONO is San Francisco this year and she was EPIC, as was MONO. Glad to have discovered her via live performance. Always a nice treat to discover a band that way! Would love to see her live again!

I've been listening to a few songs of hers for a while, especially The Distance, so I thought I'd listen to her other songs as well. Once I found out that she was constistently great I thought "man I wish she were featured in KEXP". Turns out she already was. How could KEXP miss her anyway
This band is absolutely amazing, so thrilled I stumbled onto this video. I love how Emma's speaking voice is surprisingly different than her singing :-) This group is the real deal.

The best I can paint it is like a Mark Maggori painting with sound. Its expansive and relays a lot of well defined feeling.
