    Basically it's not the holidays to me until the grocery stores start offering those delightful brie in puff pastry delights. I'm definitely down to try this. Thanks, dude! Love your videos.

    Pretty hardcore to eat tartiflette as a side dish tbh. Been to the French Alps quite a few times and always had it served as the main course.

    For the record, reblochon taste very (very) differently from camembert. But I would totally eat a tartiflette with camembert! (actually I'll try it)

    I’m envious of that enormous cutting board. Where did you procure it?

    Reblochon is illegal in the US? Reblochon is like a cuddle it is so soft ! Camembert too is unpasteurised in France

    Watched this video in front of my wikfe, and she turns to me and says, "You're fucking making that for thanksgiving" So yeah, definitely making this. Also, I keep wondering what kind of cutting board that is?

    • @AdamWitt
      @AdamWitt  Год назад +1

      Dude. Yes! Mission accomplished. It's a Japanese style rubber board. Sort of like this - www.jbprince.com/utensils/rubber-cutting-boards-all-rubber.asp?childskumatch=U910

    Did you just call it a side dish?
    🥺

  • @baidaan1894
    @baidaan1894 Год назад +1

    No. That’s not a tartiflette AT ALL!!!!
    Tartiflette is made with Reblochon. Not Brie. No other cheese. Only Reblochon. And lardons and potatoes and onions. Nothing else.

      I think you missed the part where he says it’s illegal to export reblochon to the US buddy

      you can also do it with Camembert, there’s no problem, even if for my part the traditional one is much better (sorry for my English)
