I’ve binders from gc2b but I have the feeling that they don’t bind enough but I slightly die in underworks so yeah I feel fake because I don’t try enough all trans dudes bind more or better....
Bind whatever makes you comfortable. If you dont bind safely, the results of your (potential) surgery (if you want one) might be compromised and if you damage your tissue too much, it wont heal properly.
I dont bind most of the time. Only when im going out, like pubs and stuff (because of toilets), because my back hurts real bad, it cracks and i do have a very large chest. I would like to bind more often, but i'd rather have the better endresult for my mastek. It just isn't worth it for me.
Binding can be dangerous. Do what makes you feel happy and stop right there. Do it for your own safety and the sake of your future chest

how true to real life is the movie, I read the lead was played by a trans person.
I realise you're str8 and the movie regards a trans person that IDs as gay, but I thought/hoped the movie was 'real' to your struggles and issues.
