Had my 1997 model since 1998. You don't know how good this car is until you own one. The R33 handles better than a R32, and lighter than a R34, yet even you will be comfortable in the back seat with the front seats extended fully back. Easy to tune to 800 HP on a stock bottom end as long as you replace the Oil Pump, which is the weakest part of the engine because the gears are not strong. Very fast stock. The GTR however is more than just power, its the whole experience of the ATTESSA ETS 4WD system moving the power to where its needed, and the HICAS 4WS that makes this big car as agile as a RWD Toyota Starlet. However, learn to drive the HICAS in an open area or it will kill you because it does not behave like how a normal LSD will; it does not need correction, you just point and plant your foot and the car will go. Correct it and it will spin with you.
I have owned a R33 gtr for 2 years and every time i get behind the wheels of that car it just puts a smile on my face. Such a joy to drive, the steering, the way the manual transmission shifts gear and of course the sound.
