Holy SHIT!! I tested this last night. I used a vocal track and ‘beat boxed’ a bass drum track, the did the same for a snare track. Using this it created a drum track based on my vocal drum track. This is massive for people who can’t drum but can make the noise with their mouth.

Not in GarageBand - at least not without an AUv3 plugin.

I recorded a song with real instruments into ios iphone Garageband, then tried adding Garageband Drummer, chose follow to follow bass, but it's a completely different beat to song and doesn't match - does drummer 'follow' not follow real instruments, only digital loops?
It should follow real instruments as ping as those tracks follow the tempo of the project. And have a clear beat that can be followed.
@@PeteJohnsMusic Hi mate. I watched your video, and Drummer did clearly follow the tempo of your song. I don't know when I just tried using Drummer for the first time and added follow that it does not follow track at all. I'll keep trying. I did notice that on ios iphone, it does not show all the sections in yellow at the top of the screen that you edited - not sure why?

When we’re using one of the three Percusion drummer, we don’t have the follow option.
Oh really? I thought you could follow any track? Only the Drummer has the follow option however. studiolivetoday.com/garageband

Sometimes I manipulate the drummer and let it follow a muted track.
