I own a Gravely Pro 160. Cutting around 5 acres, flat and sloped, and some of it fallow field dense. Wouldn't own anything else. This thing is a beast. Easy to operate and maintain. The only thing I would change would be adding solid front tires instead of inflated....just for durability., and maybe a shelf across the motor in the back as i use a hand held fuel transfer pump to fill the tanks, which are HUGE. I have to set my 5 gallon gas tanks on the top of the motor to fill, so a shelf would be nice.
Love my Gravely pro Z 52". Its a beast pull a trailer around the island doing chores. People always comment how good everything looks. 《《《Get-R-Done!!!》》》
They are tough cut good and priced right. I have the gravely engine great so far have about 24 hours on it . Have a great dealer will stand behind product and service.
I have a Gravely Mach One it will coat you in grass and dust in seconds. It can't be avoided. It does cut grass like a maniac but it will camouflage you from grass and dust blowing out in front of the mower.
Bought a 42 gravely zero turn belt keeps breaking on my gravely won’t fix it took it where I bought it can’t find the issue what do u guys recommend spent $3200 on the mower has 72 hrs bought it new
@@elfede7616 there are no service bulletins associated with that machine and the deck belt breaking. We at Carls have installed a few on your model but I don’t see a repeat problem. Are you engaging the blades at what position on the throttle, are you mowing lawn or field, what height are you cutting at, when is the belt breaking, on start up or mid mow? Lots of variables.
Because you prefer spending fortunes in factory overlooked or ignored issues? Because you dont care about stragglers or cut quality? Maybe you like blowout and horrible discharge? Reliability is not a must for you?
Gravely is junk compared to a Grasshopper, I own a Gravely ZT HD 48. I have a mulch kit on mine and it always leaves a windrow that comes out the right side of the deck! I will be going back to a Grasshopper!!!
I bought a gravely zero turn six months ago at the end of summer. I have 4 acres. Always had a cub Cadette before. Right away I felt like the engine had an unsteady sound to it, but it felt strong and mowed well. It's sat for several winter months. Since I've been mowing, it started stuttering, cutting out. I keep thinking the governor? I replace the fuel filter and it runs okay, but 2 acres into my Mo and still in the same thing.. 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I took it down once ( it's only 6 months old, still under warranty ) the guy said " I can replace the spark plug and fuel filter or you can do it yourself for free" so I did. And still doing the same damn thing. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Monica Tannehill did you purchase your Gravely from Carl’s? Do you know what model you purchased and what engine it has? Love to try and help solve the problem.
@@Carlsmower no I bought it where I live in Live Oak FL. I'm looking over all the paperwork, says gravely x 52. Model 91523? The guy hand-wrote it and it's hard to read. There may be a p in front of the model number. I'm going to have them come out and pick it up today, see if they can't figure it out. I wish I had more confidence in them.
I'm going to have to take it out there tomorrow. They are not doing pick-ups because of the coronavirus. (Bet they would still sell me another 😂) making payments on a $4,000 lawn mower, be nice if I could mow my yard 🤦🏼
Monica Tannehill if its kawasaki motor it’s probably a carb issue. Had same problem with my zthd. Once carb was cleaned have not had a single motor issue.
I've had a Gravely Pro-Turn 148 Commercial for about three years now to mow about 3 acres, about once a week, around my farm house. No issues at all.
Nice machine!!

The most important thing to any piece of equipment is the servicing dealer behind your purchase

How long does it take to install the bagger system or take it off?
5 minutes max. More like 2

Use Marine gas and the problem is solved.
Grizzavely
How is it if it's American-made that you have a Kawasaki engine in it which is Japanese
Their engines are apparently manufactured in Missouri for small engines
Smdh 😂
