After a one-day delay caused by a missed flight connection, we've made it to the beautiful island of Siargao in the Philippines. Since we've missed a day of island hopping and adventure, we're teaming up with a couple of locals to pack as much into just two nights as possible.

There's a lots of Paradise in the Philippines to explore, visit our country and see for yourself, there's more fun in the Philippines!, now is the best time to visit the Philippines because summertime is coming soon, the weather will be nice from March to May
oh trust me, the 7000 plus plus plus island will never disappoint! and to be honest, the best of the best beaches apart from palawan... batangas.. etc2x are in the south.. tawi2x island which is very near sabah, Philippines and kota kinabalu in malaysia.. is among the best of the best YET, no one goes there because of the history ... it being infested with terrorists groups before. According to certain sources, most of them were/are funded secretly by the malaysian government so the Philippines will not be able to get sabah and develop that southern part of the country. but trust me, tawi2x is at par with PALAWAN in terms of beauty ..but its way way way better because most tourist have not discovered that part of the country yet. there are so may places more.. romblon, siquijor, bohol, camarines norte and sur, mati davao oriental, zamboanga's pink beach, negros and ilo2x, bantayan island, the islands in mindanao, like camiguin, britania islands, the enchanted river, the endless waterfalls..and don't get me started with bukidnon inland lakes and mountain resorts! hahaha! and so much more! oh my... if only people know about the hidden gems of the Philippines. haha :)

husband part 2 - your kids are so amazing - what they will try, especially the food, I think I would starve before eating some of the food they try and eat.
You are correct in the the Filipino people are so friendly and willing to help you in any way possible. Tell the kids to be careful with the many legged little
crawly things. One bit my on my knee and I ended up in the hospital to get the infection cut out. Mom and Dad can be super proud of the children.

I stayed in Siargao for 14 days but it was never enough. I will definitely comeback. We stayed in a fully furnished villa with kitchen and we swim everyday. I was hoping you tried surfing at cloud 9.
14 days in Siargao sounds like heaven! We didn’t surf this trip. Our stay got cut short because of a missed flight.

Going through the lagoon is breath taking.The view give you the jurassic park vibes. We stayed in that villa. Siargao blue i slipped on the step at the back going to the beach lol.

It's "dry season" but because of La Nina this year, it's much rainier than normal. And I also think Siargao and the eastern Philippines follows a different climate pattern
It was much rainier than anticipated but we still managed to find the good weather 😊
@@AlwaysBeChanging yeah, I looked it up, and Siargao (and most of the Eastern PH) rainy and dry season are opposite of the rest of the Philippines. So it really is rainy season in Siargao right now. Their dry season is when it's rainy season in the rest of the PH. So people should keep in mind that the Philippines has different climate zones with different seasons
Please visit Batanes it will surely give you a different vibe. That place is breathtaking.
Batanes is high on our list for our next visit.

Someday, try to go to the north of the Philippine archipelago, that is Batanes. You will never think that you’re still in the Philippines when you’re there!

Husband still around - my wife stops on her way home every two days and brings fresh warm bread, about 5 types, for our breakfast. eating
the bread warm is so good, especially the ones covered with sugar. We often take bread and a cup of coffee down the the corner guard hut.
Having a guard shack just a block away definitely is a plus. Haven't figured out a way to keep the goats from coming in though.
Breakfast in the Philippines has been our favorite. Amazing buffets and good coffee. We can sit and sip and eat and stare at the beautiful surroundings for hours.

That was lots of fun to watch fam... those diving boards did look pretty high from the top, last time I jumped from that high, I backward belly flopped... it was a long time ago when I was young and foolish... now that I'm old and wiser, I know better. We know :( so sad it's gone. I'm so glad we were able to see it before it fell. And I'm so glad nobody was hurt when it fell too. Our footage was within days of it going.

You probably looked up Philippine weather on google. They should change that. Summer/sunny season here in the Philippines starts in March. It's pretty rainy and gloomy up until February.
