I am a Study Abroad advisor at a large Midwestern university. Let me tell you, my students whose parents exposed them to overseas travel when they were young are the ones I enjoyed working with the most. They are inquisitive, open-minded and eager to explore and meet the locals at their study abroad destinations. They prefer to hang out with local students. Differences don’t faze them. They understand the platinum rule of cultural engagement - treat others as THEY would like to be treated. If many of our young people travel with parents who encourage them to accept and explore cultural diversity, there is hope for this world. Hopefully, I will witness this in my lifetime. All the best to you!

Elle, this is kind of a missing link in our approach to parenting. We hope this is a better way to educate and raise our kids but we also know there are challenges (friendships back home). Thank you for the affirmation that supports the pros over the cons. Coming from someone in your position, this is great to hear 👍🏼🥰

Let me ask you, are you going to the Philippines, there are many people who don't follow the law, such as it is forbidden to cross the wrong crossing, then there are many people who urinate on the wall and on the tire of the car, many of us. even if they are not squatters, they do that and then at the railway crossing they cross even if there is a barrier because the train is about to pass and then they run to cross just think about it and then the trash and dog or cat poop is just thrown into the canal and anywhere then there are many stray dogs and cats that are left alone to defecate anywhere, that's why the Philippines is the ugliest country in the world, think it's better to go to China, Japan and South Korea, the people there are disciplined and know how to obey the law.

All positive comments are deserving. The contents are well delivered by this authentic family. It’s obvious they are a high-income earning family meaning I can’t afford to frequent many of the establishments visited, but I am thankful they are willing to take us along with them to see the beauty of this planet.

@@AlwaysBeChanging I've been binge-watching your vlogs from both channels for a while now. I love the dedication your family puts into every video. Also, "Ate" in English means "older sister." The term is traditionally used for siblings or family members as a sign of respect. Nowadays, it's being used to refer to women or girls we see and interact with, even if we don't know them personally and sometimes, even if we're not sure if they're older than the person referring . 😁
I hope to run into you someday around the metro or in BGC! 💟

@@mimiloves85 In reality, the Philippines is the ugliest and dirtiest country in the world, you know why it's there first that throws garbage into the canal, even dog and cat poop is thrown into the canal, even oil, rice and other things that clog it are also thrown into the canal the second canal is the one who urinates on the side of the wall and then sees a cup urinating on the wheel of the car, is that the Philippines beautiful but the citizens are not disciplined and their public toilets still stink and they spit in reality so few only tourists because of our citizens who are not disciplined and only a few have persevered in the Philippines so actually it is not really good to go to the Philippines it is better to go to Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, China, Japan and the USA because there are disciplined people that and there is no trash to be seen there must be a country to go to not the Philippines which is really rotten

@@AlwaysBeChanging I don't know if you're still in the country, but maybe for next time. Try Halo-halo, it's a nice dessert. Literally means mix-mix and it's a mixture of ingredients in the same vein as mixture of cultures from around the world. It's got a mix of tropical beans, ingredients, purple yam ice cream, purple yam, leche flan, coconut. Also try lechon, it's suckling pig. Usually, it's like those Hawaiian pigs where you roast it on a fire, but there are restaurants that you can go for where they give 1 person servings. Cebu is known for spicy lechon.
You can also try sizzling sisig (try it with an egg and chili), and also sinigang, which is a sour broth that's usually mixed with water spinach, though sour doesn't do it justice.

FYI I am a Filipino. You are a sad person which only see the ugliness around you. Wherever you are in this wprld there are places that are not so pleasing to the eye. Why dont you change your perspective?

I'm glad that here in the Philippines they'd experienced to harvest rice. It was an actual lesson not to waste a single grain of rice. And congratulations you finally found a huge gecko ❤️.
