Today, we’re packing up and leaving our beachside rooms in Donsol, where we tried unsuccessfully to swim with the local whale sharks. We’re heading to the island of Siargao, but our first of two flights is already delayed by an hour, putting our Manila connection in jeopardy. Will we make it to the laid-back surf destination this afternoon-or will we have to come up with an exciting Plan B?

husband speaking - Hello to everyone, I arrived Feb. 18th. from 3 months in Cebu. I missed you guys. I got to celebrate my 80th birthday on Jan. 18th at the 101 buffet.
My wife found 15 of my best friends to join us, on Feb. 8th my wife celebrated her 74th BD with 30 guests. neighbors and 12 or 15 of her class mates from high school.
Good news for us, sold our condo on Mactan Island to a man from the Chech Republic for 5 million Pesos. We live in our big house about 3 blocks away.

I'm a Filipino senior citizen watching this. Such series of inconveniences you had to go through. If this is watched by other foreign would be travelers planning to visit, this would be "goodbye & no thanks Philippines" already. Those in government should watch this. As your subscriber, I felt sorry for this wonderful very likable foreign family. Such patience & equanimity from you people is truly admirable.
We hope this video doesn’t discourage anyone from visiting the Philippine. Travel delays, cancellations and mistakes happen all over the world. It’s frustrating but it’s part of traveling often. We’re just happy it all worked out in the end.

So sorry about the challenges. Hope it is all worth it. There are other ways of going to open point to another. You can do land and sea travel. You could check it with the locals next time. A bit longer than doing connecting flights but it is less risky and the views and sceneries on your way there are breathtaking. Kudos to the kids for staying cool. You are raising them soooo well.
