When my first four children were small, I bought all of them a bright orange t-shirt to wear outside at parks and such because I worried so much about them and it worked out wonderfully, lol!!

I find dressing all 3 of my kids in the same colored shirt helps me keep track of them in public/crowded spaces, especially when I’m out alone with them. Being outnumbered is tough! Your trip made me dream of spring and summer!

Yes, Megan!!! I'm always worried about my kids and I always imagine the worst happening. I read somewhere that this fear is due to a traumatice event or events in the past. If the doctor calls me, I assume it's cancer; if someone doesn't say hello, I assume I said something wrong. A lot of people don't worry that much, especially men. They are more laid back, but I worry a lot about my kids unless they are sitting right next to me!!
As soon as I saw your kids all on the boat I thought about how at that age I would have been wearing a life jacket any time being near a boat. That will help with peace of mind in the future!

We were just there about 2 and a half weeks ago and LOVED everything about it! Pinecraft is so picturesque it almost doesn't even look like a real town! The homes are so well loved and cared for ❤️ I felt like I was somewhere very special!
Praise God the babies are safe and Glory to God that these Daddies had such quick reflexes!!!
Also, parks with multiple kiddies is stressful for me too!

Fun vacation days! So special you and Lynette are friends. Yes the old fashion service station my grandparents had one in upstate New York. My grandpa pumped gas and serviced cars. My grandma had a snack bar she made grilled sandwhiches, hamburgers and hotdogs as well as all her famous cakes, pies and cookies.
Looks like it was another great vacation! Seems like a blessing to have the Mennonite Community down there. Ten days didn't seem long enough! Glad you got to spend time with Lynette!

Florida is always fun, we go 3 weeks in November to shorten our winter. I am 51 and wear bright colors, no age limitations on having fun with outfits
My husband and I are not far from you. We come to Sarasota every year for the winter to escape the Midwest cold and we love it here. I love Lido Beach and try to head there at least three times a week. Gotta work on that tan. Oh my gosh I'm so happy Vonnie is ok.

Glad Florida trip was fun. Happy your daughter is ok. My older daughter is now 40 and at 7 fell into a pool. I saw it and someone dived in for her. Then swim lessons immediately. Still remember like yesterday. My grown daughters always say I know Mom - you WORRY. It’s like a joke but sooo true lol.
