Jimmy's insights on Faith and Family are a great way to start your day as a Daily Devotional for men or a daily devotional for women too. He relates Christian principles in a simple way using his knowledge of fishing and career as a professional angler to be a light for Christ and share GOD's message of love, hope, and kindness. Jimmy admits his faults and misgivings and helps you learn how to be a better Christian drawing experience from his own mistakes. Jimmy makes understanding Christian values so easy that it makes Catch of the Day a great Daily Devotional for Youth as well.
Jimmy has been a long time member of the Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society(FOCAS), and is a strong believer in power of fishing as a tool to become, in Christ's words, Fishers of Men. As more and more people turn away from traditional, organized religion, it's time Christians embrace Jesus's message of love and kindness to reach others for Christ with a servants heart, and be a living witness for Jesus. With over 50 years as a professional angler, and over 40 years on television with his show Jimmy Houston Outdoors, he has used his public platform to reach others for Christ. Jimmy Houston credits his years of success to his faithful walk with Christ and Devotion to the lord. He admits he struggles but works everyday to live for Jesus and become a better ambassador for Christ's love.

Good morning friends, it's a great day to be alive, especially when Jesus Christ is Lord and savior, today I have 33 days of deliverance from smoking cigarettes, after trying to get hooked up with Walmart Plus for 6 months, to get cold food delivery, after being told no multiple times, because I was too far out of town, not in delivery zone, the Lord has blessed me, now I can get food delivered to my home, thank you God thank you Jesus, praise God hallelujah, God bless Walmart

I’m glad I have my devotions. I’m glad I have my Non Dusty NKJV Bible. I’m glad I have my worship playlist. Everything else I could manage without, though it would mean missing these great devotions everyday. But as long as I have God’s Word it’s more than doable. And in these times, it’s more than enough. Just like the father who held his arms out waiting for his son to return. What a sight that must’ve been. A happy reunion. And that’s just how God is. He’s always waiting with his arms held open. You cannot find an unconditional love like that from anything else. How grateful and thankful we are to have a great Father who gave his only son to show us all the right way for our lives. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Good message from Jimmy today. God bless Jimmy and his family and God bless everyone else on this Tuesday morning.
