Sold my Bass Cat Caracal STS after only six months of owning it ( sorry, but Rick Pierce can’t design a boat for nothing) and bought a Xpress X21! I’m so happy with it!
I wish I could afford to get into bass boating again, but the prices these days are just outrageous! There's no way I could justify that amount of money for a boat when could buy a house for roughly the same price. In Michigan we only have open water for about 6 or 7 months in a good year, so it's just not very cost-effective.

I work in heat treat for Ford, so I'm somewhat used to the heat, but the humidity is the real killer! Might go back to wading or using my float tube so I can feel the coolness of the water!

Whats the rough water ride like. Durability?
Well to be honest at first I was worried cause it was rocking badly. But then realized that the atlas jackplate was not setting correctly. Once we got the trim and jackplate correct it took off man. I’ve been out several times since this and recently in a 20mph headwind. And once on pad, it was glass man. Super impressed by these boys
Great looking boat but for me I’ve had nothing but problems with aluminum cracking , ribs and welds , and transoms , then have to take a long ride to Arkansas to get it fixed

@@curtismahan7449 we went through all the RPMs and Dave did what he does the magician he is and I filmed. Xpress has found in my opinion the perfect boat.

We can do that after the fact. But from the factory they come with the Yamaha

I have a 2022 x21 pro le. W 250 sho. I run 63 wide open fully loaded. Running 25 fury prop turning 5600 rpm.
I guarantee all the compartments leak !
The little ridge they placed on the boxes help some. But yea they collect some water for sure

No it’s just the boxes up front catch the spray from the wakes.

@@Jhampton83 why do you need a video. I took your word for yours running 70. Never saw the speedometer. I believe you. But why you say I need a video?? I'm just saying boats are over rated price wise. I paid 32 grand for my tracker 190tx tournament edition. With a mercury pro xs 115 . The express like the one in this video is double that. It's crazy. That's all I'm saying. Double the price for 25 to 30 more mph.

@@Jhampton83 I actually wanted the express. But I'm just not paying that for a boat. Mabie they will come down in few years after this crazy government is out. It's a damn beautiful boat. I love the floor design.
