I used to watch your videos growing up, I’m really happy to see you’re still making content. Definitely influenced my hobby in loving cutlery
What organizer is that?
Ive had a Big Ideas pen for years and love it. I love the fact you can use whatever insert you want
nice :) Im late to the [arty as usual haha
I just got an open mini 2. I 3d printed an adaptor so I could put in a fisher space pen refill in it. Best pen ever and only $13. $75 is way too much for something so small and easy to forget or lose in my opinion.
I left my Open at the Hotel check in counter. I miss that thing
I love cool pens and have no problem with price for quality writing instruments. That said, $75 seems a bit steep. My EDC is G2 - I enjoy the way they write. I may check out the pen you’ve featured!!!
BID make some great pens!
Big Idea Design are great. Just picked up the pocket pro in bronze. Also check out there TI lookout fixed blade. It’s right up your alley….oh yeah great update.
Make a video of reviewing temu or cheap cheap knife sharpeners
$75 GTFO 😂
That mf better write on its own lol
Almost double in germany. For that price I can get the Zebra pen like 7 times and throw them around :D
I'd stick with the O'pen mini myself
the thing with this pen is you get something most pens dont have for your money, unlike say a knife thats $20 and cuts fine compared to a knife thats $200 uses the same steel and cuts the same way but is a different shape...this is a custom made pen with capability no other eon has outside of this company...
Grafton pens takes multiple types of refills @cutlerylover
I own one and it jammed and they sent me a new one and they paid postage both ways. I think it may accept 700 different refills!
OH that;s a nice pen let me check out the prOMFGice! 😅
lol, bic perns work fine too...
@@cutlerylover Seriously though I'm probably gonna buy anyways because it can fit almost any
insert. My job calls for me using a pen so yeah.
You could buy 100 different inserts for the price of that pen. It better do more than write.
I feel the same way for any vehicle that costs more than $70k lol it better do more than drive fast...but they dont...they just drive faster and faster...this pen has a very cool and covenant feature no other one has outside of the company...people will laugh at the idea of spending $75 on a pen but spent $200 on dinner out which literally turns to sh!t the next day hahahhaha Id say if you could make it cheaper go for that but the price is not bad at all when you consider what it takes to make them and know the company has to make a profit to stay in business...a $0.20 pen writes, a $2 knife cuts, a $0.50 cup of coffee has caffeine in it and a $1 stained goodwill shirt covers your torso ask yourself why people spend so much money on these things when they can get them cheaper?
I am asking myself why a company would charge that price the same as I would ask why some pick up trucks are over 100K (but they do more than just go fast). Just because they CAN charge that much for them, doesn't mean that they SHOULD. To each their own, but as far as for me, I'll stick with a simple pen and save my money for pew pews and freedom seeds.
@@rangerbravo what you are not seeing is the cost of manufacturer if it costs $3 to make these it would seem greedy to sell them for $75 but if you knew they costs $60 to make them them you might feel differently about it...the fact is these sell well so just becasue you dont like it other people do, im not trying to sell,. it to you I do not care if anyone buys these at all im sharing my experiences thats all I enjoy it but I also enjoy all kinds of expensive stuff people would never ever try for themselves...so overall they should charge as much as they cna to make as money money as then can to be a bigger and biger company making more and more items...thats why they do it to make money...if they dont sell they are charging too much if they sell well the price is perfect if they cant keep then in stock more than an hour they nee to raise their prices ect...there is a HUGE market for these pens you just arent one of the buyers thats all..just like im not a buyer of any expensive vehicles...the difference is you can afford a $75 pen I cant afford a 100K truck, lol just dont forget MANY people think you an idiot for spending as much as you do on pew pews...it goes both ways...why spend $900 on a pistol you like when you can just get something for $100? explaining that to someone is no different than me explaining this pen to you, haha
Honestly I would love to see that level of transparency. How much DO they cost to make? What is the determining factor for the MSRP? Comparing self defense items such as guns doesn't apply here either. I don't buy a gun based on price. I base it off of reliability as if it's not reliable, it's useless to me. I really get what you are saying but Big Idea Design just charges way too much for things that really shouldn't. Are there other pen makers that have pens that are hundreds of dollars, yes. Doesn't make it right in my eyes either. Agree to disagree.
@@rangerbravo yes reliability costs money, sure there are unreliable firearms that are expensive but overall we know cheap guns arent as reliable as expensive ones BUT even then its been proven not to be true, the fact is NO gun can be called reliable unless it worked when you needed it to save your life but you can give it to someone and the next day it has an issue...so reliability is not a guarantee with any gun...not as far as transparency not many people do that becasue people dont understand how business works...EVERY products ha s profit margin but tis based more on volume than anything else, if you make $2 on a sale you need tens of thousands of that time to be a sold to pay the bills if you make $100 ona sale you dont have to sell as many to get from A-B...your average person wouldn't want to buy anything a company told you they made for less lol..people like a deal...If your saying there are things in life you dont want to buy sure I agree lol but you cant say its overpriced if it sells its the right price period...there are knife lanyard beads that sell for $400, lol...$300k watches? 5 million dollars cars? im not saying its worth it, im saying its worth it to me becasue I like cool stuff obviously you dont think its cool and thats ok but it gets old when people say its too expensive for what it is, I see it with literally everything its not too expensive you just either canrt afford it,( thats usually a lie no matter how broke someoen eis) cant justify the price or are not as interested and someone else...thats all
OH MY GOD!!!! MY EDC PEN RAN OUT OF INK!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I GOING TO DO???? Oh, thank goodness you had that backup pen on your keychain. Whew! You really dodged a bullet there! How would you feel if I told you I don't "EDC" carry a pen at all? Oh My God!!! How in the world do I get through my day WITH NO PEN??? I am so stupid and unprepared. I can barely survive. You "EDC" nerds are really entertaining.
I’m no nerd, but a good pen comes in handy. I work in a place where pens are necessary. Filling out logs. Having a pen on me has helped me and orhers.
You don’t need to type a paragraph to embarrass yourself.
Calm down, Karen.
