As for me, I personally sill like direct command though, but I don't think the auto system was that bad.

The four idols of Kanamin's group and the grumpy manager-lady, I could take em or leave em... They all needed more character development, in my personal opinion. The other idols' only thing was how they were "the opposite" of how they portrayed themselves on stage, but none of them were very memorable aside from the tiny one who actually grew up on a farm and was remarkably strong and brave. The white-haired one was just a yandere without the conviction to actually commit crimes, and the red and blue haired older ones were like... just swaps of each other? It was a lil confusing. But I'd love an OVA with all of them hanging out off-camera that was really character-focused on teh four of them!
First and only game where I romance 2 girls at once since romancing Marie doesn't affect other romantic social links. Naturally I picked Rise too. It's seriously hard not to love her tho the after credits scene of Marie's confession of love on TV with Rise's anger scared the hell outta me like the game caught me last second for cheating 😅

There is an extraordinary level of dichotomy between my pure excitement to see a new Persona video by Ramzaes, and my utter distaste to play the games myself.
I like Chie. I never knew that she had a different voice in base Persona 4 as I've only played Golden. I just recently played through it for the first time on Switch. It's become one of my favorite games now though.
I think for golden they used the same game vas but retook the voicelines after they had more experience as they also used the og game voice actors for the original English dub of the anime
I like Yosuke but the middle of the game really tested my patience. I dont like fanservice and it felt like all the 'horniness' from Yosuke felt forced, especially sense his crush just died. I feel similar with Ryuji in P5, specifically the whole "calling a maid" thing. Its like the series has fanservice-y or comedic scenes in mind but never actually think about whether or not it makes sense with the characters. I still like Yosuke, Im really conflicted about him most the time, but hes still probably one of my favourites, even if I want him to run into a wall most of the time
