Man, the Sinn can be the perfect watch for almost any army division. It’s a pilot watch, but it’s super sturdy in case your out in the fields and it’s water resistant. The descending timing bezel is also super useful. And the day date is actually great for prolonged excursions if you have no access to a phone. I think it’s the ultimate adventure watch. The CW is also one gorgeous watch! Really great video man, thank you!
As a pilot I think there is no better modern pilot watch than the Breitling Aerospace Evo. It’s what I actually wear on all of my flights, and it is always up for the job. But kudos for presenting different options than the usual Navitimer and GMT Master which have been reviewed to death and aren’t actually very useful any longer. Ok maybe the GMT Master still is but I think it is too fancy and flashy nowadays, it is no longer a tool for the job. What most of my co-workers now sadly wear the most is an Apple “watch”, I think it is the most often seen in cockpits for its all-around functionality but it is not a pilot style watch.
I like the “no complications” gist of this excellent vid. Maybe a day or day/date window but mostly 3 handers. Legibility was the goal. I am surely not the only pilot here. We all know…light turbulence & you can barely read the altimeter. So, a fine vid. Well done!
I watched your video. I liked it. Later I wanted to watch it again. So I typed "most legible watches" in yt. Because that's what they are, and it's an important criteria for me concerning watches. Thanks for the video.
Should've put the Laco Pro series on the list, which around the 1200e mark, is the best entry in my opinion, quality wise. Top grade sellita, two different sizes, and possibility of personalized watches with different style and engraving.
Agreed. The Breitling Navitimer is included in our more comprehensive editorial guide, but wanted to offer some nice alternatives for the video review.
No Seiko flightmaster ?? I have the resin version of the Marathon and Laco type B both excellent but my preference is my Speedmaster master chronograph
Good review but iconic Rolex Pepsi and Air King are missing from the list. I am a pilot and love GMT Master II and know many pilots who always wear GMT Master II of some kind.
Missed it. Best pilot watch hands down… SKMEI - digital, lighted, day date time, large easy to read, backlit. $16.00. Absolutely best bang for the buck. Been flying with them 25 years. If it breaks, throw it away and get another one…
The real list is: Cartier De Santos IWC Big Pilot (Stowa, Weems, Laco also fall under this B-Uhr category) Zenith Pilot watch Longines Lingbergh or Longines Spirit Rolex GMT Master Breitling Navitimer and Chronomat.
Dig all 3 of those picks. Both the Rolex GMT and Breitling Navitimer are included in our more comprehensive editorial guide, but wanted to offer some nice alternatives for the video review.
No doubt these are some great pilot-themed watches, but the omission of icons like the Breitling Navitimer and Glycine Airman is kind of unforgivable on a list like this.
laco was nice especially if you're on a lower budget, hamilton is nice too, wasn't into the marathon, christopher ward was nice, sinn looks like a divers watch, bell and ross is cool, iwc mark xx is king, oris altimiter rediculously expensive and way too big 47mm, they should have displayed the big crown or pro pilot by oris, and where's breitling navitimer? zenith was nice I like the dial
I am a pilot and I think you have to be a pilot so know what a pilot wants. None of your featured watches had a GMT hand....Can you think why this may be important?
I understand what you are saying but I think it was clear this was a video on “best Pilot-style watches.” The best watches for a pilot would be an Apple Watch or some sort of GMT or navitimer
The problem with most of your choices is, they will never satisfy you. You will still want a better watch. It’s like having an itch on the right shoulder, and scratching the left. Save your money and buy a better watch.

The IWC is the pilots watch which does it for me, some of the models are not really looking like a traditional pilots watch !
How did you find the time to make such an epic video , there must be 3/4 days work here , thanks for your video,
I watched your video. I liked it. Later I wanted to watch it again. So I typed "most legible watches" in yt. Because that's what they are, and it's an important criteria for me concerning watches. Thanks for the video.
that IWC looks phenomenal wow
Man, Laco looks so classy.
Should've put the Laco Pro series on the list, which around the 1200e mark, is the best entry in my opinion, quality wise. Top grade sellita, two different sizes, and possibility of personalized watches with different style and engraving.
why no stowa in the review?
Sorry, but you can't have a list of pilots watches and not include the Breitling Navitimer.....
Agreed. The Breitling Navitimer is included in our more comprehensive editorial guide, but wanted to offer some nice alternatives for the video review.
@@Hiconsumption
Did these watch companies provide watches for this review?
Ya think?
I'd have put Stowa in there
Great watch video as allways
Alberto Santos Dumont - 1906; Wright Brothers - 1903. Other than that, I like the Oris Altimeter watch.
No Seiko flightmaster ?? I have the
resin version of the Marathon and Laco type B both excellent but my preference is my Speedmaster master chronograph

The Zenith 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Missed it. Best pilot watch hands down…
SKMEI - digital, lighted, day date time, large easy to read, backlit.
$16.00.

The real list is:
Cartier De Santos
IWC Big Pilot (Stowa, Weems, Laco also fall under this B-Uhr category)
Zenith Pilot watch
Longines Lingbergh or Longines Spirit
Rolex GMT Master
Breitling Navitimer and Chronomat.
You missed the Glycine Airman.
Great video, for me iwc make the best looking pilot watches, the zenith is nice as well.
How about some watches us Pilots actually use
Rolex GMT Master II
Brietling Navitimer
Brietling Aerospace
Dig all 3 of those picks. Both the Rolex GMT and Breitling Navitimer are included in our more comprehensive editorial guide, but wanted to offer some nice alternatives for the video review.
A Laco PRO model would have been a much better comparison.
Zénith hands down 🤩
No doubt these are some great pilot-themed watches, but the omission of icons like the Breitling Navitimer and Glycine Airman is kind of unforgivable on a list like this.
❤ Laco ❤iwc ❤ Zenith
You forgot Stowa, one of the best
Ditto and their Flieger Classic 6498 (with seconds sub dial) is one of best looking ones
Is it me or dark dial has less readability in dimmer light conditions than a white dial ?
laco was nice especially if you're on a lower budget, hamilton is nice too, wasn't into the marathon, christopher ward was nice, sinn looks like a divers watch, bell and ross is cool, iwc mark xx is king, oris altimiter rediculously expensive and way too big 47mm, they should have displayed the big crown or pro pilot by oris, and where's breitling navitimer? zenith was nice I like the dial
Laco but version B
Longines spirit.
Best pilots watch is the F91 Casio. 👌
Based
glaschutte senators and the dirty dozens would like a word :)
Breitling?
I am a pilot and I think you have to be a pilot so know what a pilot wants. None of your featured watches had a GMT hand....Can you think why this may be important?
You better do a RUclips video to get the right info out there!!!
I understand what you are saying but I think it was clear this was a video on “best Pilot-style watches.”

@@andrewcoleman6744 yes "Pilot STYLE watch" I get it now.
The problem with most of your choices is, they will never satisfy you. You will still want a better watch. It’s like having an itch on the right shoulder, and scratching the left. Save your money and buy a better watch.
Shame on you,, you neglected the most famous brand name Breitling
If I made a million dollars a year, I would buy the Oris for my cousin who is a pilot.
Tell me how a pilot watch helps a pilot?
The zenith, IWC , Bell and Ross are great - the rest is pretty much low budget junk.
Quick scroll and didnt see the Navitimer. The video is all 🧢🧢🧢🧢. What historical contribution to aviation has the Christopher Ward made?
I swear Christopher ward paid their way to get on this list, but misses a navitimer. 😂
IWC pilot mark is the best
Stowa is 2nd best
Christopher Ward is 3rd best
right manufacturers, wrong models!
I didn't know that Sinn was founded by a nazi pilot 🤢
Fantastic video!! The one for me is the IWC... 🫡👍🏻
Why don't they interview a pilot instead of a watch Nerd who has never left hus basement? Just wondering!
