One tip: when you wipe off after rubbing, fold the microfiber cloth into 4 equal squares so it becomes softer for the paint and turn it over if you have to rub in several places.
Thank you for posting this video! I used Megiuar's Ultimate Compound a few days ago to get out two HUGE rust stains on the hood of my car. The one thing I regretted most was not making a video while doing it, because it worked like a miracle! The rust stains were gone instantaneously, and with a little bit of hand-waxing my hood looked like new in a few minutes. I paused at only 1:52 minutes into your video to post this comment. I have used MEGUIARS SCRATCH X 2.0 on cars and guitars. I have a Fender Strat which no longer has scratches . Try buffing your car with Meguiar’s Gold Class Carnuba Wax. The wax will make a difference. They have excellent products. Your ride looks better now, good stuff
I found an old bottle of this at my work that has been there for longer then i have been working there. I tried it on my car, and it works like magic! I whould highly recommend this to everyone who wants to take care of there car!
I've started using similar Meguiars products and paint restoration products and they work really well. I'm impressed with them thus far. As a keen amateur with health challenges I can't afford to spend lots of time or end up damaging the paint etc. Meguiars seem to cater for that approach, whilst taking care of your second biggest purchase, your car✌️👍😊😊

Nearly got this after seeing some new scratches on my car; one looked kind of deep for this treatment. Decided to give my Turtle wax paste a try first & it worked! For a fraction of the price and hardly any time! Just apply it like you're waxing your car and when it dries wipe off with a soft dry cloth, circular motions.

My neighbors full grown pit bull was really excited to see me and she jumped up on the side of my truck several times as I was pulling into the driveway. No problem and my pit bull did the same on our Grand Cherokee. The scratches that are deep it didn’t work so hopefully it helps you out in you situation but besides those deep scratches this stuff is a awesome product! Let me know how it turns out and goodluck 🙏👍

I'll have to wash my truck first because it's covered in ashes from the wildfire we've had over the last week near Flagstaff, Arizona. Luckily, the fire is almost contained and we didn't have to evacuate from our neighborhood.

I'm off road quite a bit and already have small paint chips etc. so I decided to heck with it. Amazing stuff. Went off roading in my 4runner in the mendicino national forest and came back with a lot of trail stripes. This stuff took out some deep scratches. Very impressed.

Didn't work at all. Will have to go to a professional shop. Mine is a lightly scratched roof top over the driver side door, apparently where some lady scratched it with her ring as she was entering the vehicle. Very tiny scratches but they will not buff out for me. Thanks anyway, man.

This video is sufficient for many people's needs. Not everyone has "a serious scrath" to deal with nor much experience with any of these products at all. There's plenty of the video you're looking for on youtube

It safe to use just don’t go overboard and use to much of the product and with a lot of force when applying it! I used it many times and never had a issue! In the video I showed how I use it maybe try it my way 👍

Arty, I tried it anyhow and it helped. However, there's a film around the diameter of scratches. It really shows up on the black paint. Any suggestions on how to work that out? Meguiar's Mirror Gaze maybe? Thanks again for your help!
Meguiard interior detailing products are great, i cant speak the same for exterior. Turtle wax graphene ceramic dominstew the hybrid cetamic offered from meguiars, in 1 its more glossy and 2 its more durable and 3 its bullet proof to dish soap where meguiars comes right off. Now. Iron remover, nothing beats car pro ironx, invis glass cleaner is best and cheap on the market, adams shampoo is the best foam. Meguiars interior detailer is one of the best as its an all purpose cleaner as well as a protectant, chemixal guys microfibers are better than meguiars, as well as chem guys honey dew along with vrp is superior than meguiars. Ive been detailing for about 8 years, ive tried plenty of products from turtle wax to adams to carpro to modesto to meguiars to armorall (dont buy this, it will ceack your dash) toblack magic to eagle, tried em, then just picked up a variant of the best from some of these brands

Did someone try to do a paint correction on it ? Using a compound night leave it looking hazy and you might need to polish it! Hard to exactly recommend you something without seeing it.
You don’t have to press down hard. Once you starting going into circle just slowly add pressure. If the scratch is to deep it won’t go away regardless on the pressure you apply! I hope this helps you 🙏👍
I really love meguiars products but the be completely honest I never used the ultimate compound yet so I won’t lie to you! I can only give you my honest opinion on products I used before and for a scratch remover this product is great! What exactly is going on with your car paint!

Nobody cares.
This stuff is great for scuffs too - often my paint gets scuffed up from covers, etc. It does that job well.
I also use circular...have for decades.
Just used it on my black Mercedes C300. Amazing!!!!

It should work if the scratch isn’t deep! If you have paint from the other car left on yours this will work on removing that for sure.

No this isn’t a cover up. This product is a scratch remover... so if it helps by removing your scratch then it’s gone for good 👍

If the scratch is very deep and this compound won’t work then most likely other products like this wont work either!
Arty, I tried it anyhow and it helped. However, there's a film around the diameter of scratches. It really shows up on the black paint. Any suggestions on how to work that out? Meguiar's Mirror Gaze maybe? Thanks again for your help!

Meguiard interior detailing products are great, i cant speak the same for exterior. Turtle wax graphene ceramic dominstew the hybrid cetamic offered from meguiars, in 1 its more glossy and 2 its more durable and 3 its bullet proof to dish soap where meguiars comes right off. Now. Iron remover, nothing beats car pro ironx, invis glass cleaner is best and cheap on the market, adams shampoo is the best foam. Meguiars interior detailer is one of the best as its an all purpose cleaner as well as a protectant, chemixal guys microfibers are better than meguiars, as well as chem guys honey dew along with vrp is superior than meguiars. Ive been detailing for about 8 years, ive tried plenty of products from turtle wax to adams to carpro to modesto to meguiars to armorall (dont buy this, it will ceack your dash) toblack magic to eagle, tried em, then just picked up a variant of the best from some of these brands

Did someone try to do a paint correction on it ? Using a compound night leave it looking hazy and you might need to polish it! Hard to exactly recommend you something without seeing it.

Hey! How hard did you have to press while doing circling motion?
You don’t have to press down hard. Once you starting going into circle just slowly add pressure. If the scratch is to deep it won’t go away regardless on the pressure you apply! I hope this helps you 🙏👍

I really love meguiars products but the be completely honest I never used the ultimate compound yet so I won’t lie to you! I can only give you my honest opinion on products I used before and for a scratch remover this product is great! What exactly is going on with your car paint!
