    This worked magically and quickly. I had accidently rubbed my husband's new & much-loved white pick up on one of the Chic FilA signs that was in front of one of their pull-ups. Happens all the time in California. Self absorbed, malicious people. They’re too fat to get out of their cars, and get pissed even though your car is well within the parking spot lines. In my opinion, they should choose to park farther where they have plenty of room to roll out of their cars.

    Will this work on road paint? Someone I rode over some freshly painted white lines and have white road paint on my truck

      @TheDetailingBusiness  2 года назад +1

      Road paint is tough to remove. The acetone should work but if it doesn’t you might have better luck with goof off.

      Ok. I would recommend the klean strip acetone in the blue tin. Comes in a quart at Walmart lowes Home Depot etc

    Nice tip. Wouldn't lacquer thinner do the same thing? I've used that as a go to in removing paint scuffs, transfer, or splatter.

      @TheDetailingBusiness  3 года назад +6

      @dylan haas not sure where my answer went but the acetone I am using in this video is safe on modern car paint. I do not recommend nail polish of any kind. You can find acetone everywhere that’s sells paint supplies. Walmart, Lowe’s, etc. Acetone removes uncured paint, so Clear coat is safe if you use it like I did. In my 20 year career, I’ve don’t this thousands of times

    • @TheDetailingBusiness
      @TheDetailingBusiness  10 месяцев назад

      It’s not really intended for removing scratches. Only scuffs and paint transfer that are on top of the clear coat. Probably will have to try a rubbing compound followed by a polish
