I feel like the root of Margot's whole...deal...is that her stylist doesn't actually STYLE anything, they just sort of take the EXACT look shown on the runway and put it on her. Like what are you being paid for at that point???? To choose the ugliest looks from a collection and slap it on her thinking it'll look fine because she's skinny, blonde, and white???? It's genuinely more than a bit infuriating.
the ironic thing is: her stylist has a youtube channel (Kate Young) which i think you'll find or at least imo is better than hautelemode in terms of information, fashion history and design. you gain a new respect for what she does which is not just "choose the ugliest looks from a collection and slap them on" but then it does reveal where these looks are coming from: in that margot has a great deal of input in the looks so....take that with a grain of salt. uhm. honestly, also not a fan of margot's style for a while now but a huge fan of kate young. suggest checking her out if you like fashion in general.

You are not having unrealistic mesh matching expectations Luke! Beyoncé's mesh in her Tiffany's ad matches so perfectly that you can barely even tell it's mesh and not real cut outs
If you look at the photo, you can see a thin layer of mesh, it just matches well because you can dye mesh to match a POC skintone. The designer just has to not be lazy about those tiny details. Btw, I’m a professional video and photo editor ✨

11:46 Hello, Danish person here. So in Denmark we have basically thrown pronunciation straight in the bin. Mr. LeMode pronounced the name Juul as if there was a d in front djuul. That is a bit too "structured" for the Danish language. The J is basically pronounced like the Yo in You, but without the tiny little u sound in the end of the word. So Yoll. To understand it you can also google translate the English word for christmas to Danish, which is "Jul", it is pronounced just like the surname.

Rasmus Brohave - This guy is a household name in Denmark. Many of his videos are filmed somewhat like a documentary. He has a series on his channel named "Hvad kan jeg blive?" where he tries out a bunch of different jobs. I'm sure you'll be introduced to a bunch of new vocabulary in those. Julia Sofia - Her channel is basically filled with whatever generic youtube vidoes a person can come up with, Vlogs, Challenges, Q&As. Astrid Olsen - If you want fashion then this is the one to go to. This last year she has only posted promotional videos on her channel. But if you go back about 10 videos that you'll find loads of fashion related content. There is also a streaming service called DRTV which is filled with free shows that the Danes watch on their television everyday. If you are outside Denmark though, I don't believe it could be used without a VPN.

Nude/tan stilettos (maybe or maybe not with a few sparkly 💎 on top) would have paired SO MUCH BETTER with the “wet dress”. Luke there is something you need to know about the Givenchy dress worn by Queen B., Matthew Williams allegedly stole this design from the late Fashion designer Benjamin Cho (who is a Korean - american designer). A lot of people called out Williams for not crediting or acknowledging the Cho including Diet Prada. Williams later on apologized and acknowledged Benjamin Cho's influence in his work. He changed his ig captions for the collection right after he was called out.

About the office collection made vearable, as seen on Chloe Bailey... I don't know if these designers know how a typical office staff looks like, but that look is not vearable in a majority of firms. What ends up happening is a bunch of people who do not work office jobs buy these outfits to look "office-y", while office people continue wearing conservative office outfits. It's a lovely look, but would get me fired everywhere. I know that is wrong, but it's how it is and probably will be for a long time.

Luke there is something you need to know about the Givenchy dress worn by Queen B., Matthew Williams allegedly stole this design from the late Fashion designer Benjamin Cho (who is a Korean - american designer). A lot of people called out Williams for not crediting or acknowledging the Cho including Diet Prada. Williams later on apologized and acknowledged Benjamin Cho's influence in his work. He changed his ig captions for the collection right after he was called out.
