- I have been hunting Marketplace for my newest project, when I stumbled upon the rusted out gem. It may be too far gone, but its destiny will lie within the viewers hands.

I am planning to mimic Alex’s Motobilt suspension setup. Could you ask him how much strut is exposed at ride height? That would help me tremendously, thanks!!! Love the Jeepster btw! 😁
The first year he ran it around 5 inches exposed. Now it is around 6 inches. The ORI's are sweet, just takes a little time playing with the pressures to dial them in for your driving style.

That Jeepster needs a rescue. If you do, I would vote that you restomod it. Make a cruiser. That or rat rod it, because it's already pretty ratty!

I got this sweatshirt from a Fabrication shop out of TN. The owner is a sweetheart. I love ratrods, but not jeepster rat rods !
What did I miss about the sterling? Looked like diff and hubs could of been salvaged
Sterling was junk! Diff had been welded by previous owner. Both side tubes were bent, bolts were cross threaded into the housing, the hubs had a few snapped off bolts, and the Truss was fabbed with 1/4 plate and a torch. For what I paid for it, I had no problem scrapping it. Only good parts yet were the shafts and all my buddies run 14bolts. Salvageable yes... but when they cost 100 bucks at the junk yard to replace, not worth my time to fix
Wow I live in West Virginia,, those tires would need more tread! Haha a lot guy swap go back stock tires but I’ve never had issues and traveled hour half one way to work for past 5 years! IDE be only vehicle on roads at times breaking my own path haha loved it ! You have a bad ass TJ build can’t wait see ya wheel it!! 😊

I like the Jeepster. A future classic. Doesn’t need to be a full build / rock crawler (you already got one of those!). Just throw a junkyard motor / trans in, some 33s, new shocks etc and run it around town.
Kind of my thoughts too! Just want something stupid simple and fun, day trip it up to our cabin and cruise the back roads in it!
