@@gigachad2nd Thanks a lot! But there are far better creators out there. I just try to incorporate a story into mine so that the situation could make a bit of sense, and that's about it.
The unexpected sequel! This was a blast to watch! The most cinematic video you've made so far. I really like the beginning, this tid bits of lore among characters makes your videos more distinguishing then others do! EDIT: HOLY SHIT THE CONNECTION TO THE ZOMBIE VIDEO, THATS A NICE TOUCH! Hope the next NPC war video is between GTA's FIB and F.E.A.R's universe enemies, looks like the feds decided to investigate before the secret government agency. Or idk, maybe next time some mid sized city police department is left behind to deal with the combine. It's not very often you see people pin the police against foes stronger then them.
(United States Military Vehicles) M1 Abrams, M2 Bradley, UH 60 Blackhawk, AH 64 Apache, UH 1 Huey, Humvee, AH 1Z Viper, Chinook Other U.S. Military vehicles… And also welcome back
This reminds me of the 7 hour war when the combines invaded the earth and humans struggeling to fend them off and lasting only 7 hours untill they finally surenderd to the combines
I love this channel! And all because of the addition of a plot to the video, and in the latter, voice acting and animations appeared at all! It feels like I'm watching a real movie! I would like to ask what addons you used in this video, as well as to find out the characteristics of your PC. (My would have exploded from such battles long ago)
@@hecu_marine64 Thank you, appreciate it! All the addons I use are in the description. None of this would be possible without them. Regarding specs, I just use an MSI GF63 Thin 10SC. CPU is an Intel i7-10750H, GPU is a GTX1650 with 32GB RAM. I bought it three years ago since it was on sale. Still works like a charm for relatively "old" games like Garry's Mod, and for making these videos. Will probably get a new one soon. Yeah, some people have been asking about the scale of the battles. Different factors to account for, such as your hardware, map size (especially larger ones) and the amount of NPCs you put. If you notice, I separate each fight sequence to cover one area first, then the other next. It's an easy way to conserve memory and reduce the burden on your hardware.
Thank you, appreciate it. Some tips: 1. Watch videos on cinematography or go look at films - Those should give you a comprehensive view of the camera angles or shots you may want to use for different scenes. You should also consider watching videos of other NPC war creators. Lots out there that boast superior camera work that also serve as inspiration for my recent videos. ----- 2. Utilise camera addons - Apart from the default camera, you may want to consider downloading addons, such as Cinematic Camera and Catmull-rom Cinematic Cameras. Try playing with them and see if it works for you because they've worked for me for a long time. Alternatively, you may stumble upon other camera addons that you may find useful for your work. ----- 3. Utilise tools to animate - If you're wanting to do your own animation, there are some addons you can use. I mostly use Easy Animation Tool, Ragdoll Mover and Stop Motion Helper. With the Animation Tool, you can "animate" ragdolls and choose animations for them to do, such as taking cover or idling. You may use it when you don't want to animate your own scene. But note that the animation library may be limited and you may eventually need to animate your own scenes. With Ragdoll Mover, this tool makes it easier to pose ragdolls as it identifies and targets specific body parts for posing. Better than the Physgun, you can move ragdolls without limitations from the ragdoll physics. Finally, Stop Motion Helper will help "animate" scenes and play them out. There are tons of videos and guides on how to use it, so I won't elaborate much. It is a staple (I believe) for many Garry's Mod RUclipsrs. Overall, I highly suggest you find other people / videos to guide you because I only starting animating on Garry's Mod during this particular video. ----- 4. Adjusting lighting, color, etc during editing process - I believe I made the mistake of using a relatively strong (possibly uneasy) filter for the first two parts of this series. For this video, I simply lowered the saturation to give a somewhat "gritty" feel (it may not resonate with everyone). During dialogue scenes, I added lamps or lights since the spaces were mostly dark while the "fighting" scenes are just candid with adjustments to the lighting in some scenes. ----- I think that wraps it up. Anything else, just feel free to comment again. Cheers!
