Due to the immense popularity of my first L4D Zombies vs Humans video, I decided to make a new one.
This is the revamped version of the video I posted earlier. I realised it contained multiple inconsistencies and tried fixing some parts.
"The humans have barricaded themselves in an elaborate office space. Gun emplacements are scattered and the humans are watching every crevice of the office-turned-shelter Despite their precarious situation, the civilians are enjoying little conversations amongst each other. The law enforcement are trying to get contact with any remaining government-run evac centres. in an attempt for extraction. Unbeknownst to the sheltered, the zombies have already traced their location."

I just love the last riot police guy, he literally became doom slayer by just killing every zombie he sees with his fists more then his weapon xD
Yeah, he is a beast.
The funny thing is, I did not give him extra health. I didn't even plan for the humans to actually win, but this dude managed to kill the remaining zombies, and have a cool 1v1.
I think these particular NPCs have really high hit points.

riot guy literally got thrown out a window, then single-handedly massacred *ALL* the remaining zombies just so he could rescue the last few survivors; only to find out they died.

I just want to say I appreciate the "story" elements in the video it builds things up to the fight not a lot of NPC war makers put in the extra effort
@@Trashpanda66-wt9yq Cheers! It's not good in terms of animation and sound, but I just wanted to add a little background or story to add some depth as opposed to just the NPCs fighting.

I'm pretty sure most of the riot guys died because of friendly fire. otherwise you'd see dudes like the riot guy at the end doing it on a daily basis

L4D The Prequel
Dealing with left for dead zombies seems a big situation du to zombies that mutated with new abilities and taking more shots or jumping I forgot when zombie that graps people with their mouth and pulls them
I get what you are trying to say. L4D does have several designated 'Special Infected,' including Smoker, Tank and Jockey, among others. While a few of them do have higher hit points / health, some are relatively weaker than others
For instance, Boomer can die with one shot, Jockey can die with one melee swing and so on.
The "zombie that grabs people with [his] mouth" is the Smoker, if I recall correctly.
@@JEZeke all it was called a smoker thx man still the left for dead can be a hard point with tankers or brute zombies du with mutation with toxic wast or some DNA change
It would be a better chose by using tanks or anit tank weapons on zombies that are tankers they can die from one explosiv weapon or tank but the military would still not stop the zombies from taking thr state bc over thr about of zombies infecting civilians they become sworms of hords which will be very scary I would be running if I saw that dealing with hords would need more gun fire or heavy artillery or tanks

Why do the AI act like this? Combine AI know spacing and take turns engaging enemies. These guys are bumbling about and constantly shooting friendlies.
the difference is the combine is a powerful force with the same tactics
These humans are of different units and regiments, which mean different tactics, which lead to confusion among peers
*All units shown should know what friendly fire is and how to avoid it. There is no excuse for negligence.*
I was also referring to how dumb the AI seem to be compared to base game. I assume they weren’t assigned to squads.
7:19 I just like how Jimmy Gibbs was the final zombie in The room that was pretty cool😂😂 I'm actually very shocked that he just died like that cuz you know about Jimmy shooting guns it's like shooting Nerf darts at him I was thinking the whole army should be shooting him not just one riot shield that was my favorite part right there.
The funny thing is that the SWAT officer was meant to be overwhelmed when he went back to the office. I did not modify his health. He simply tanked those hits and killed Gibbs Jr.

Got any tips for improving overall performance when using this many NPC’s?
Thanks for the question. These for some of the things that I do:
1. Set graphics to low
2. Clean corpses during certain scenes
4. Don't install many addons; less than 100 would be great. Mine's is at 76 currently. Too many addons may overwhelm your game depending on your specs / gear.
3. Download an FPS Booster addon - I use this one particularly and it somehow helps boost the game's FPS, give it a try @ steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1169579845
Other than that, I don't have any other tips. Having "better performance" would also depend on the specs of your PC computer / gaming laptop.
I know what is addon for l4d zombies, but what that one for survivors? Link/links to the workshop please?

The map itself is cs_office. But I hope you won't get annoyed if I remind you; Counter Strike: Source must be downloaded. The link provided includes the AI Nodes needed for NPC's to walk around the map.
