I think Scovillain should have had an ability called "Spicy" that made all seed based moves have a chance to burn the target, would have given him that tiny little buff that everyone thinks he needs. I love Scovillain and used him on my playthrough, never expected him to not be widely loved honestly, but he instantly became one of my favorites.

I miss mega evolutions so much. I love your mega flygon and mega chandalure. I hope that you make more mega designs. I would love to see a mega milotic, ninetales, arcanine, dauchbun, and dewgong. For milotic and ninetales I can see them becoming more colorful in design. Ninetales’s tails could be one of 9 different colors to represent the nine saints who according to the Pokédex supposedly make it. As for dewgong I can see it getting more frills and narwhal attributes (maybe an aurora horns). I think that dauchbun could have frosting and sprinkles or something like that (maybe changing bread type and have frosting shaped like a baker’s hat). As for arcanine it’s hard to say.
For Arcanine we just need more fluff and a legendry style. Since the pokedex said in the past Arcanine was usually described as a hero or god to the people.

When I think of mega Tinkaton I think of a long legged pink creature with ponytails, and 2 huge hammers. Their long legs give them the ability to run fast and jump high to reach (mega) corviknight, and the double hammers are used for knocking it to the ground. I love your interpretation of mega tinkaton as well, and I’d love to hear other people’s interpretations of it!
The japanese name of Huge Power is related to mochi, and it's only given to rabbit like pokémon as a reference to the legend of the rabbits making mochi on the moon.
I know this isn't really what mega evolution is, but for Chandelure, I would imagine its mega form would be something that fits with the theme of the line. Upgrading a ghostly light source. Candle>Lantern>Chandelier. So the next step would be a bigger light source. How about a lighthouse? The whole "Haunted lighthouse" trope fits with that! Too big? How about a street lamp! Also fits with the victorian vibe of the line

A cool alternate evolution for Paras that I always wanted was one were instead of it being a parasitic relationship it would be a symbiotic one. It would be called Symbasect and it's biggest improvement would be it's speed since instead of a parasite clumsily controlling it, it would be in full control and because of the symbiosis it gets an ability that makes it never take double super effective damage.
The only thing I didn't really like about your Mega Flygon was the fact that it's a desert jet... that can't be in a sandstorm. One of the things normal Flygon is known for is its ability to whip up sandstorms with the flapping of its wings and then hiding inside them, it's also one of the reasons it's known as "the spirit of the desert".
It was actually one of the ideas that I pitched through a super chat when he did a livestream for Mega Evolution suggestions. The ophanim was an interesting idea, but the thing really that sold this pitch was the "wanyudo" yokai - AKA the "Firewheel" or "Soultaker"

When you said "laser hammer", I was imagining magical energy shooting out of the back, adding additional power to the swings it's already taking, rather than a secondary firing mode. I was picturing the rear of the hammer being shaped like the engine of a plane with a magical laser afterburner. While I love your art, I was a little disappointed that the hammer to tinkaton ratio was actually *decreased* in your mega. I can't help but feel it should be even larger, like something from an anime. Your design is good, and makes lore sense, but I feel like it doesn't play into the fantasy of thwacking a thing into tomorrow. If the Arcane inspiration is important to you, perhaps it could draw more from the force of Vi's gauntlet than the dual-mode of Jayce's hammer.
I have an interesting way of making a mega flygon, playing more into its type and have it be able to pull a graboid from tremors but mix that with its sand storms
I don't know about giving Flygon the bug type, I know how it's technically a bug but it's ground dragon type is a better combo for how it functions. As for it's design, I like it but I think you could do more. I can't say what to add to it, only that I can see how Sugimori had trouble with this one. I would half argue that Mega Scovillain works better as a third stage evolution, but I can see how it would also work as a mega evolution. While the third head makes me think of a third stage evolution, it's misshapen proportions (namely with it's heads) do seem to work with the vibe of how it's for the best that mega evolutions are temporary. That, and combinations of it's arms turning into wings with it growing that third head does fit the mega evolution vibe (gives it a King Ghidorah look) Chandelure looks good. I think you could improve the design by adding a small ring wheel or something, but I also can't blame you for going too extravagant Tinkaton has become an instant favortet like most people, so mega Tinkaton is a easy win by principle alone. Though one thing I did notice is how it's hammer seems a bit smaller now with less crazy proportions. Don't get me wrong, I can see this working as the hammer could also be more condensed and easier for Tinkaton to weald, but I can't help but ask if that was intentional
So sad that Chandelure would steal the ring of a Klinklang just to Mega Evolve 😔 ...actually, come to think of it, if you could somehow actually steal the ring from a Klinklang, would it just straight-up revert back to a Klang or just kinda look like one + an extra little gear? I feel like I'm going to be pondering this for longer than I really should today
I really liked most of the designs you came up with, but in my opinion, some of them don't look too menacing-ish like some megas are. Flygon is a bit bland, in my opinion. I do really want Komala to get some attention as a mega evo or even any other form or evolution!
I wanna see an evolution to baxcaliber mainly cause I want to see what you do with it. Cause most people design it looking like Godzilla even tho its more based on a spinosaurus, back the middle evolution translated into German is literally called "cryo-SPINO"

Personally, I feel like you could make a rival Mega Corviknight, now missing the pieces of its body that the Mega Tinkaton stole, but now those gaps are bursting with infinity energy, giving it unruly attack power In addition, since we're long past Gen 6 and a few probably deserve Megas, potentially Megas of one of the Gen 6 starters, representing "higher ranked" versions of their RPG Classes (ie. The witch Delphox becomes a much more powerful sorcerer)
Dex Idea: "Mega Raichu. An electric and grass type. This form of Raichu uses the power bestowed by the Infinite Energy to photosynthesise, making its lightning even more powerful. Also, with its new grass typing, it no longer has to worry about ground-type Pokémon.
At this point i’m truly convinced Megan will come back at some point not based on any real concrete knowledge but just a feeling. Even if it’s a new spin on that concept, they’ll be missing an opportunity to make it big with that one seeing as steel, the majority as a Fanbase, all into unison are here for them. I’m fine with them exploring new mechanics, but I just hope we get some thing more interesting like Megas at some point, and after we expired as new ideas that it returns or some kind a big way.
Dude, mega tinkaton with huge power is broken. 95 atk, with huge power is 190 effective attack. More than mega mawile. Which was banned from OU in it's generation.
I love megas in general, but some I love so much I'd want them to be permanent to interact with them like through the camping system. There's so many that I want to pet or watch interact with others.
I wish that new Evolutions or even just buffs were given to some Pokemon now that they've moved on from the Mega gimmick. Like Pidgeot made nowadays would be like it's Mega form, or give Houndoom a proper 3rd stage, change some abilities or types to make older Pokemon interesting or even a combination of all of these to shake new games up and keep people excited about returning Pokemon.
I think you should make a video with other Pokémon artists where you all draw 3 new mega’s (all gave to draw based off 3 of the same Pokémon) and then compare them after to see everyone’s different styles and interpretations of them. I think it would be awesome!!
Something I want to see is a mega forretress, I had this idea that it’s true body would enlarge and burst out of its shell potentially changing its typing to something unexpected
Mega Haxorus Type: Dragon/Steel since axes or made of metals. Ability: Sharpness since it's pokedex says it always maintains the sharpness of it's tusks. Mega Hydreigon Type: Electric/Dragon I don't know why electric I just wanted to add it to make it more "King Ghidorah" like. Ability: Levitate or New Ability: A Sp. Attack version of Hustle.

I love the scovillan design, it did kind of inspire an idea for a potential third evo or mega. Instead of keeping the 3 bell pepper heads it could have these goofy looking 3 shrunken pepper heads. You could have an orange for habaneros, Red for Ghost/Scorpion peppers and Greenish yellowish for Pepper X the current hottest pepper. Could give him his own move, I have two different ideas one that would be more viable in competitive and one thats just more fun. The first could be a medium damage lets say 60bp spread move that has a 30% chance to flinch and 30% chance to burn. It kind of plays up the idea of people freaking out when they eat hot peppers. The other one thats just more fun could be called something like pick a pepper, it works similar to magnitude it's damage is based on how spicy of a pepper they get dealing more damage the "spicier" it is.
Porygon-Z was incomplete so a mega evolution that acts as a patch for it that shows the original intention of interacting with other dimensions with some slight traits of missingo

That mega tinkaton makes zacian look like a herdier. With 95 attack and huge power, it becomes equivalent to 240 base attack, with gigaton hammer

A cool alternate evolution for Paras that I always wanted was one were instead of it being a parasitic relationship it would be a symbiotic one.
It would be called Symbasect and it's biggest improvement would be it's speed since instead of a parasite clumsily controlling it, it would be in full control and because of the symbiosis it gets an ability that makes it never take double super effective damage.

The only thing I didn't really like about your Mega Flygon was the fact that it's a desert jet... that can't be in a sandstorm. One of the things normal Flygon is known for is its ability to whip up sandstorms with the flapping of its wings and then hiding inside them, it's also one of the reasons it's known as "the spirit of the desert".
The mega chandlure looks awesome! I dont think it was intended, but the spinning wheel combined with the fire type makes me think of ophanim
It was actually one of the ideas that I pitched through a super chat when he did a livestream for Mega Evolution suggestions.
The ophanim was an interesting idea, but the thing really that sold this pitch was the "wanyudo" yokai - AKA the "Firewheel" or "Soultaker"

When you said "laser hammer", I was imagining magical energy shooting out of the back, adding additional power to the swings it's already taking, rather than a secondary firing mode. I was picturing the rear of the hammer being shaped like the engine of a plane with a magical laser afterburner. While I love your art, I was a little disappointed that the hammer to tinkaton ratio was actually *decreased* in your mega. I can't help but feel it should be even larger, like something from an anime. Your design is good, and makes lore sense, but I feel like it doesn't play into the fantasy of thwacking a thing into tomorrow. If the Arcane inspiration is important to you, perhaps it could draw more from the force of Vi's gauntlet than the dual-mode of Jayce's hammer.
I have an interesting way of making a mega flygon, playing more into its type and have it be able to pull a graboid from tremors but mix that with its sand storms
I don't know about giving Flygon the bug type, I know how it's technically a bug but it's ground dragon type is a better combo for how it functions. As for it's design, I like it but I think you could do more. I can't say what to add to it, only that I can see how Sugimori had trouble with this one.
I would half argue that Mega Scovillain works better as a third stage evolution, but I can see how it would also work as a mega evolution. While the third head makes me think of a third stage evolution, it's misshapen proportions (namely with it's heads) do seem to work with the vibe of how it's for the best that mega evolutions are temporary. That, and combinations of it's arms turning into wings with it growing that third head does fit the mega evolution vibe (gives it a King Ghidorah look)
Chandelure looks good. I think you could improve the design by adding a small ring wheel or something, but I also can't blame you for going too extravagant
Tinkaton has become an instant favortet like most people, so mega Tinkaton is a easy win by principle alone. Though one thing I did notice is how it's hammer seems a bit smaller now with less crazy proportions. Don't get me wrong, I can see this working as the hammer could also be more condensed and easier for Tinkaton to weald, but I can't help but ask if that was intentional
I’d be cool if mega flygon had a ability where overcoat and sand stream were combined so becoming part bug type doesn’t hinder it during a sandstorm

I really liked most of the designs you came up with, but in my opinion, some of them don't look too menacing-ish like some megas are. Flygon is a bit bland, in my opinion. I do really want Komala to get some attention as a mega evo or even any other form or evolution!
I wanna see an evolution to baxcaliber mainly cause I want to see what you do with it. Cause most people design it looking like Godzilla even tho its more based on a spinosaurus, back the middle evolution translated into German is literally called "cryo-SPINO"

Flame spin would be a perfect move for mega chandelure
I believe a signature ability for Tinkaton that makes all special attacks use physical attack for its calcs and give STAB to electric moves would be perfect. Flash Cannon, Dazzling Gleam, THunderbolt, moves like that i could see Tinkaton using its hammer to fire would be great.

Personally, I feel like you could make a rival Mega Corviknight, now missing the pieces of its body that the Mega Tinkaton stole, but now those gaps are bursting with infinity energy, giving it unruly attack power
In addition, since we're long past Gen 6 and a few probably deserve Megas, potentially Megas of one of the Gen 6 starters, representing "higher ranked" versions of their RPG Classes (ie. The witch Delphox becomes a much more powerful sorcerer)

"Mega Raichu. An electric and grass type. This form of Raichu uses the power bestowed by the Infinite Energy to photosynthesise, making its lightning even more powerful. Also, with its new grass typing, it no longer has to worry about ground-type Pokémon.
At this point i’m truly convinced Megan will come back at some point not based on any real concrete knowledge but just a feeling. Even if it’s a new spin on that concept, they’ll be missing an opportunity to make it big with that one seeing as steel, the majority as a Fanbase, all into unison are here for them. I’m fine with them exploring new mechanics, but I just hope we get some thing more interesting like Megas at some point, and after we expired as new ideas that it returns or some kind a big way.

Dude, mega tinkaton with huge power is broken. 95 atk, with huge power is 190 effective attack. More than mega mawile. Which was banned from OU in it's generation.

I love megas in general, but some I love so much I'd want them to be permanent to interact with them like through the camping system. There's so many that I want to pet or watch interact with others.
I wish that new Evolutions or even just buffs were given to some Pokemon now that they've moved on from the Mega gimmick.
Like Pidgeot made nowadays would be like it's Mega form, or give Houndoom a proper 3rd stage, change some abilities or types to make older Pokemon interesting or even a combination of all of these to shake new games up and keep people excited about returning Pokemon.
Mega scovillain is definitely my favourite so cool!
I think you should make a video with other Pokémon artists where you all draw 3 new mega’s (all gave to draw based off 3 of the same Pokémon) and then compare them after to see everyone’s different styles and interpretations of them. I think it would be awesome!!

Something I want to see is a mega forretress, I had this idea that it’s true body would enlarge and burst out of its shell potentially changing its typing to something unexpected
One thing that could be done in the future if you ever revisit these designs is to make Corviknights wings a cape for Tinkatons Mega.
Chandelure’s evo line was one of my favorites of that generation and you somehow made it even cooler!
Id love a decent Mega Arcanine concept. One that stays true to the original pokemons design, but is still an obvious upgrade like Mega Lucario

Oh my gosh, I LOVE your take on mega flygon; it's exactly the kind of design it needs: not too draconic, and emphasizes the whole pilot/skydiver-y vibe that is prevalent in his normal design AHHH it's so gooddd (and I really love the wings and visor :'3c) Amazing work man, as a number one Flygon fan you got my approval !!! 😭♥
I love the scovillan design, it did kind of inspire an idea for a potential third evo or mega. Instead of keeping the 3 bell pepper heads it could have these goofy looking 3 shrunken pepper heads. You could have an orange for habaneros, Red for Ghost/Scorpion peppers and Greenish yellowish for Pepper X the current hottest pepper. Could give him his own move, I have two different ideas one that would be more viable in competitive and one thats just more fun. The first could be a medium damage lets say 60bp spread move that has a 30% chance to flinch and 30% chance to burn. It kind of plays up the idea of people freaking out when they eat hot peppers. The other one thats just more fun could be called something like pick a pepper, it works similar to magnitude it's damage is based on how spicy of a pepper they get dealing more damage the "spicier" it is.
Porygon-Z was incomplete so a mega evolution that acts as a patch for it that shows the original intention of interacting with other dimensions with some slight traits of missingo
