- Mega evolution is one of the coolest mechanics that has ever been in a Pokemon game, and many fans want to see the return of it someday. Some starter Pokemon have received mega evolutions, but only two generations worth, so in today's video we are going to be giving mega evolutions to EVERY starter Pokemon who doesn't have one!! The Kalos Starters should’ve gotten Megas and I don’t understand why. The Galar Starters got GMAX. So why doesn’t the Kalos Starters have Megas smh?
its true, at least greninja got ash-greninja form in alola, but I think they just did it because they didnt expect the huge popularity of greninja in the anime, also it looks cool.

When I imagine Mega Samurott, I see it growing a lot more samurai like armor and becoming a Water/ Steel Type or maybe Water/ Fighting
As someone whos favorite pokemon was oshawott i felt they could do more with mega samurott
I think that the water steel type should stay empoleons signature typing

In my opinion, the Johto and Unova starters are in most need of a new form
Unova has been shoved in our faces a lot lately, Johto & Sinnoh need the forms more. Unova Starters can get new forms when the time for Gen 5 remakes arrives later this decade. Trust me Unova Confirmed will start the moment we get Sinnoh Remakes just like demand for Sinnoh Remakes started not long after we got ORAS.

@@Missingno_Miner There are Unova references galore in the Galar region. Gen 5 Pokemon were shoved in as much as possible. As well a lot of the Pokemon introduced in Gen 8 feel like Unova pokemon.
If Nintendo makes a Let's Go Johto, then they'll probably have mega for the starters.
Also, I wonder if they were planning on having more Kalos megas in the never to be, Pokemon Z.
I feel like some of them were used in ORAS

fun fact: I think the mega serperior one is inspired by an old mexican legend, of a god called: quetzalcoatl, its a fliying serpent, thats pretty cool, and I hope serperior gets that gigantamax form.

Gmax or dmax never gonna happen outside galar. Like with z moves they r exclusive to a region bound by the lore

He liked Serperior the most out of the Unova Starters. He's said in the past he doesn't like Incineroar, which I don't blame him for, since I don't like it either. That Mega design also doesn't really do much for it, tbh.

Lets be real here Decidueye should have gotten the sniper ability especially since it could use Z-tailwind giving it a 100% critical hit chance while using shadow claw and leaf blade

@@byksEBM funniest thing is, half of these aren't megas. Some were made as redesigns, the Rillaboom is a fusion, and Decidueye is a retype
it seems more like an “I like these designs” and not really a “These are fitting mega evolutions”
Mega Torterra looks the most logical out of the Sinnoh starters.

@@jackfloc0 yes it would, now I don't remember the design because it's been ages since I watched it, but what I remember is that infernape has a little to much cold color in its design mainly purple and blue, and if it'd too much it's not very good anymore is it?

I really like how mega infernape is just a recolor with the mega symbol in the background.
When I imagine Mega Serperior I invision more emphasis on the foliage. Its refined yet deadly like a fencer, long precise blades like rapiers a body that cuts through the wind and field, and its tail more adapt like a blade.
The Johto starters are from Pokemon Insurgence, Empoleon is from PokeVerse, Greninja is from Pokemon Pets

Types for every new mega:
Johto: Typloshion: Fire, Dark. Meganium: Grass psychic. The water one: Water/Fighting. Helps with the type matches.
Sinnoh: I'd do nothing.
Unova: Sammurot: Water, Steel. Serpierier: Grass, dragon. Emboar: Fire, Fighting.
Kalos: I'd personally make Delphox now a fairy type.
Alola: N/A, possibly a new ability like steelworker to give stab to the following types:
Fighting
Flying
Psychic.
Galar: Cinderace: Fire, Electric. Rillaboom: Grass/Psychic. Inteleon: Water dark
I hope sooner or later, every starter will get their well-deserved Mega Evo. Especially Johto ones that were skipped for no reason. Even if just for the spirit of fairness. 😔
Except we basically know why. Gen 1 & 3 got the majority of the Megas due to nostalgia/popularity for Gen 1 and because of the ORAS remakes. If the Johto remakes fell into Gen 6/7, those starters would have gotten them instead. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a ~25 year remake for Johto like Let's Go did for Kanto in gen 9

I think it should be Fire Steel for cinderace. Grass rock for Rillaboom and water psychic or dragon for intellion

i would honestly keep cinderace a pure fire type. it doesn’t need a second typing. i agree though the rest of this list is perfect!!
@@LunykStormdragon i feel like Fire/Ground would be the best Dual Typing for Cinderace because of its running and Soccer ability. i don't think any other secondary typing works; i don't understand why people think it should get the Steel type thats just dumb and has nothing to do with Cinderace. but i understand why you want Cinderace to stay singular type.

Mega Rillaboom is more a fusion of Rillaboom and Houndoom than a mega evolution

Im making a pokemon fan gane and ive been trying to make more mega evolution including the rest of the starters but it takes so much time for me since i work on it by myself and have a busy life. But i love these megas these people made some dope mega evolution. Im sad that they havnt returned.

I'd love to see a Mega-Raichu for the Pikachu starter. I know that's never going to happen cause they love their mascot to much but Raichu deserves it
The gen 7 starters are easily my favorite and seeing mega evolutions on them is so cool.

Honestly, I'm hoping for some starters to have either 2 Megas like Charizard or not have a Mega Evolution but at least a variant. Or maybe some kind of "regressive" evolution (like a Monster Hunter Frontier Zenith form or Origin forms - apparently one is a form forgotten by the species and/or long lost cousin species... Would be cool to see it in Pokémon)
I'd definitely like to see some alternate form for Incineroar that's a quadraped and looks more like a saber tooth tiger.
Fun fact: I actually thought up Megas for the Johto and Sinnoh starters in my Pokemon Ideas.
I'd like to see a "Mega Mewtwo Z" where it looks like Mewtwo X and Mewtwo Y have fused, and it possesses the best stats of both.
I miss megas :(, but the UNOVA megas are a bit sucky but the JOHTO ones are the best

I always hated that it went from an adorable quadruped kitten and cool quadruped cat to a bipedal furry wrestler lol but the mega design very much appeals to me lol
Tbh personally I prefer it to be Bipedal. It wouldn't be as energetic or unique to me and would of been a Generic Normal Tiger that just breathes Fire. The Wrestling Origins also makes sense for it too

Idk. A lot of these designed seemed like they were just adding stuff/accessories on to make existing Pokémon look cool. But all the good mega evolution designs have a new and interesting theme that changes something about them. It can’t be too busy, or it’ll look like a mess y’know
Well, technically Ash-Greninja is some sort of Mega-Evolution
Favorite of each gen:
Johto: typhlosion, actually made me like it
Sinnoh: Torterra, looks really cool and legit while infernape just looks like a weird re-collour that doesn't really work
Unova: Serperior, it looks magestic in a way and i love that it's now dragon type
Kalos: delphox, it looks way better then the original and still looks like e pokemon
Alola: primarina: it looks really beautiful and I really like how it's dress thing is now rainbow collored
Galar: inteleon, it looks really good with that jacket and Cinderace isn't far behind

I love the Johto Mega's concept art from this artist. I really wish they were real. Especially since Typhlosion is my favorite starter.
In my opinion, not all starters should get megas. gen 1 and gen3 got megas. They should come up with some unique feature for the other generation starters. Instead of giving gigantamax to gen 1 Pokemon, the 2/4/5/6 generation could have benefited from it. But GF pandering to gen 1 will never stop I guess

It would be extremely weird that if GF would ditch Dynamax and go back to megas. Dynamax/Gigantamax are the main gimmicks of Gen 8, so if we get remakes in this gen, D-Max/G-Max will be in the game.
I don’t like Megas I would rather them make regular evolutions like in gen 4
@Danielle Jones Yeah, GF will probably bring Dynamax in Sinnoh like how they brought Megas into Hoenn in ORAS. If I'm not mistaken, X and Y said that Megas were exclusive to Kalos until ORAS released.
@@johnathancarr551 I think they retconned it by saying that ORAS was the Mega timeline, hence why they have the Mega Stones
I feel like most of these just look like they could be the regular final evo. A lot of megas have a pretty decent shape change. All of the ones in this video just highlight some features.

I was heartbroken when Empoleon didn't got a Mega, but I was even more heartbroken when megas were entirely cut out from the newer games, I loved the designs of every official megas and some had even heavy thought put into it, it'd be nice to have them back :(

Greninja doesn't really need a mega evolution since it has the battle Bond ability which turns it into Ash-Greninja but I guess it's still a thought

I think it would be great to be able to have a mega and dynamax in one battle. Or even if they had to make it one or the other it would be a great juxta position to your Pokémon just getting bigger and essentially doing 3 z moves then going back. Mega evolution lasts the whole game but is still not as powerful as dynamax. Therefore it gives you two choices for two play styles

I would actually take the redesign Cinderace over the actual one. But the original one is still cool.
