I feel if they're gonna stay with the whole humanoid form while incorporating more kitsune-elements, they'd end up with something adjacent to the common "calamitous vixen"-archetype anime foxgirl... the kind that's dressed in a loose kimono, to stray away from Delphox's look, since otherwise Delphox is already kinda between that... and while Braixen already catches a lot of flack for pandering to furries, that, I feel, could just reignite that entire thing. Human shaped kitsune with a magical staff and armor plating, switch the plating for witch/magic elements and you're set.

As I was speculating about Legends Diancie, I came up with some regional variants. Blastoise has rotor blades instead of cannons, making it Water/Flying. A male inventor talks about how Blastoise inspires him to invent the helicopter. A Fire/Electric Cinderace can be based on a cyclist, acting as the mascot of the Tour de Kalos. I'm not sure about the Grass starter, so I'm waiting to see future generations first. Carbink needs to be Steel/Poison and be what prompted the discovery of radioactivity. It causes a lot of mutations and diseases among humans and Pokémon alike. A female scientist is looking for a way to purify the Carbinks. When she finally succeeds with one of them, it mutates into a Diancie. Unfortunately, the scientist becomes too sick to continue working and dies after being exposed to too much radiation. Wanting to continue its friend's legacy, the Diancie leaves on its own to purify other Carbinks. The player can later find it in a cave and catch it. The radioactive Carbinks who once inhabited the cave are now Rock/Fairy, indicating their purification. Steel/Poison Carbinks can still be encountered in the region, but not inside that cave. Sometimes between the events of LD and XY, all Carbinks are purified.
Cinderace is not a Pokémon I dislike, but I like Emberush so much more. It feels way more like an evolution of Raboot to me. Great video, I’d love to see a part 2.
This needs to happen to Wartortle and Dewot, they are completely different to their evolution. Wartortle was initially intended to be a different evo than was made but was changed quickly to lower the amount of Pokémon. Dewot evolved into a huge massive seal which didn’t make sense so it would look great for there to be a 2 legged Monster that is light blue with a giant Shell in it’s hand. Perhaps it could be bite it’s shell to as it’s signature attack. Wartortle could be a Flying Water type with huge Wings around it with amazing Clouds around it. It’s signature move would be Wet Cloud that is a special attack doing a 120 attack first round but second round the opponent gets +1 Defense
This is a super cool and unique idea! If you do a part 2, I'd love to see you do Litten or Sprigatito, given the huge backlash they got from being bipedal in their evolution. Also, if you ever do second stage evolutions, please do Chespin... I love Chespin, maybe my favorite starter Pokemon and I like Chesnaught (not as much), but Quilladin 😭
@@MetaknighttheloneswordsmanMan, same. If it wasn't for its Wrestler like design, it'd be passed over for inclusion into Smash. One of the other reasons why I enjoyed Incineroar.
Your Feraligatr improved on perfection. Your posing and shape language is amazing now. I always loved both your videos and your art, but remembering your older art shocks me sometimes. You’re really inspiring for how much you’ve improved through evident practice and hard work
I absolutely adore Feraligatr and all the other crocodilian lines in Pokemon so it was really awesome to see them get some love!! I absolutely adored Crocolith and Graptor as they're two of my favorite starters!
I would love Emboar to stay on all fours, with a fire/ground type and longer husks to look like an actual warthog. A sabretooth Incineroar also on all fours and Samurott be bipedal with a water/steel typing
Im actually in the middle of making a region with all three starters having split third evos. Each starter is like a self care kinda thing. Ie:love yourself, be confident, and dont be held back by your feelings.
I'd love to see a bipedal Dewott evolution 🙏 Samurott is the ultimate *WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE* Pokémon, being the only quadripedal starter that comes from a bipedal line, whilst having dexterity to use the shell blades, but its highest stat is the Sp. Attack? I honestly think the design concepts present in Dewott could definitely turn into one of the best received Starter evolutions in nowadays' standards for Game Freak, since they heavily imply a humanoid progress with the samurai motifs, but Samurott is more beast like. A generation swap of the Oshawott line and Sobble lines could be a good inspiration to draw these ideas, since many people also have complains with Inteleon's over-reliance on human aspects like the whole spy shenanigans.
Also, amazing video overall Ron. I love your take on Cinderace since that's arguably what my deepest dreams and desires could have hoped for Scorbunny to turn into ❤️
This is such an innovative idea, I did think it would be interesting if their colors would the the shinies coloration of the og evos but this is overall so fun I love seeing your process
I definitely want to see more. Particularly a fully otter samurott, a quadrupedal emboar and incineroar, a more glyptodont-inspired chesnaut, and a less angular skeledirge.
Hey Ron! Thanks for another great one man! I wanted to let you know I think it would be great to see your split evos next to their evo families, maybe in your next split evo video?
Ok. This is a very cool concept. And it's clear this can give a lot more alternate ideas for these Pokemon, including giving some monotyped mons dual-typings. I would personally like to see what could be done with Blastoise, giving a Wartortle split evo an alternate take either by giving it the Steel typing we thought it would've gotten with its Mega, or maybe give it the rock typing to mix it up and add to its bulk. Other ideas I can personally think of include giving Pignite an alternate evo that isn't a Fire/Fighting type to see what could've been done, and possibly have it more reflect a different royal status. Maybe do something for one of the Americas to match the region and contrast with Samurott's Asian influence and Serperior's European design. Adding at least one Grass type in the mix, while I like Meowscarada, maybe you could give Floragato a split evo that could give it a Steel Typing based on how its vines and fur are said to get hardened based on its dex entries. For a fourth option? Hmm... really, I think the only one I can offer up would have to be a Gen 6 mon. I know a lot of people don't like Delphox and I see a few people offering up Braixen split evo ideas, but I'm going to go with Chesnaught. Sure, we got the Warrior, the Mage, and the Rogue, but if any Gen 6 starters get more evos, it should be based off another RPG class, and personally for Chesnaught, I think it should have something linking it to a Barbarian to more emphasize its strength and power. If you did Braixen, maybe add in a split evo that makes it more in line with a healer perhaps?
Grovyle evolution: Looks awesome. Brionne evolution: I still wouldn't say it's my favorite, but I certainly like that better than Primarina. Raboot evolution: Likewise I definitely like that better than Cinderace. Croconaw evolution: Looks awesome.
I absolutely adore what you did with Brionne and Raboot evos. Both look legit and very natural. My only personal nitpick with the grovyle evo you made, it looks like the head was the only part of the body that didn't evolve, but the coat of foliage is a great next step. If I don't compare it to grovyle, the whole design ties together well on its own. Good design work as usual!
Graptor looks amazing, and I wish it actually existed. I'd love a part 2! How about split evolutions for Monferno, Prinplup, Servine, and Torracat? I never liked Inciniroar, and was always disappointed by it, so many a split evolution would make a better version?
Before Rillaboom was revealed, I imagined Grooky's evolution to be a female-looking mix between a londonian guard and a majorette for some reason. I tried to design it, but never came up with anything good. It'll be interesting if there's a part two to this video doing something like this.
I personally feel like the only chance we'd actually get to see split evolutions for starters is if the middle stages got regional variants. My favorite ideas like this I like to gravitate to is a Fire/Electric Charmeleon, a Water/Ice Prinplup, and a Grass/Rock Thwakey, each of which getting a new evolution.
Graptor to me feels more like a (very cool!) Grovile variant, as a Treeko split evolution. I think it's because of Velociraptor being used as reference, it's an animal that barely reaches a person's knees after all! I think it gives it small Pokémon energy, all things considered.
I definitely agree with the sentiment that Sceptile dropped the ball that Grovyle was carrying. I still like Sceptile but as a kid, I really didn’t like his head being so bald and the weird fruits on his back. I really like Graptor’s design!
Same, regular sceptile looks a lot less agile and fast than grovyle. Which is my main gripe with the design. Treekos evolution into grovyle shows a rise in its athletic ability. But then septile has to carry around a whole tree, you cant be sneaky and fast holding a tree. The baldness i couldve lived with
I absolutely love Emberush!! A Roy Kent demeanor is perfect!! Comedeep is also sick I would just fix his head proportions a little to extend the neck maybe but I think it’s a great design.
I would love to see a Dartrix evolution where it keeps its fancy design and motifs. Perhaps it keeps the flying type or changes to something which further emphasises the more elegant evolution.
I mean, since Legends Arceus showed us regional forms of existing starters, the chance for other starters to receive the same treatment is most certainly on the table.
Love Emberush! I didn't jive with any of the final stage Gen 8 starters, but I really like this design. Electric Surge might be too overpowered of an ability though xD
Idea! Charmander is based on the fact that salamanders are associated with fire, but it ends up turning into a dragon? Maybe a deep red salamander low to the ground could remedy this
Great video! I like that you went with the split evolution route so that it works really well for people who liked the original final evolution AND the people who wanted something different. Feraligatr is my favorite starter pokemon, but I really like what you came up with for Crocolith! It's cool that you made them a quadruped instead of bipedal like the original. I hope you're able to make more of these 😄
I enjoy your videos a lot, and this one was great as usual. I have a small suggestion for the future videos tho: could you add the og Pokémon (or the pre-evo or the evolved form or whatever the inspiration for the point of the video is) somewhere in the final image, like a bubble in a corner, for comparison? Or a "before -> after" slide or something. Anything that makes comparing the two easier than having to google the og one and flip between tabs 😂
I love this so much If you're planning on making a part 2 I'd love to see a new take on intelion that keeps it more grounded (as in not standing on 2 with a straight back lol)
Comedeep is the spitting image of that faction of standup comics who really do suffer from mental anxiety, depression, etc. but always tried to put up a front be a center of attention to find validation and meaning in their life. For comedians like this, comedy isn't a career or a way of life, it's an outlet to escape from their everyday life. Please note, it should go w/o saying but I don't want anyone to misconstrue anything: not every comedian is obviously gonna be like this.
I would love to see a grovyle evo that goes back to its gecko roots rather than becoming more of a dinosaur. Like a giant grass/psychic gecko that creates invisible barriers to climb.
i'd love starter split evolutions. Would make for a way more interesting endgame. fearaligatr was my starter in pokemon silver, and crokolith looks just amazing!
This is cool. I've actually done something similar for the starters in my fakemon region, except the split comes from the base form, you can either evolve the starters by level up like normal, or give the base form a particular item to get a different set of evolutions.
Could you draw a split evolution for ivysaur? I was thinking something along the lines of gloom where the new evolution goes a bit tropical. Instead of becoming a giant frog the main body could perhaps go bipedal and be like a burly man in haka pose. Some of the tattoos across the arms could become vines and the roots of the flower bulb could maybe grow around the torso (as some light armor) and legs (bit of a straw skirt design). Then instead of one big flower on the back, it could perhaps grow several smaller flowers to give a bit of a Hawaiian shirt vibe? I dunno, in my head it looks cool.
I think you missed an opportunity when you named the ability liquid laugh rather than bubbly laugh Holy crap I want crocolith to be real so freaking bad!❤
While I agree Feraligatr doesn't need a redesign, Crocolith looks phenomenal. And pretty much all of these new designs look neat. Especially the sad clow seal pokemon. I really hate the original, but I like the one you created quite a lot.
I loveeee all of these final evolutions. I was wondering if you could do a part 2 to this video and add a split evolution to Fucoco's final evo. I liked the bird motif in the evolution line, and I think it should've been expended upon more. Plus, I really hate the final evolution of Fucoco lol

Love Crocolith, would be sweet if we got something like that for the hopefully evetual Legends Kyurem, rock typing obviously brings fossil pokemon to mind
I’d really want to see this done for Torracat if you do a part 2. I loved my Litten and Torracat back when I first played Sun, and while I appreciate Incineroar now (mainly because of how cool it is in Smash), back then I hated how they massacred my boy, to the point that I gave my Torracat an Everstone. Torracat is my favorite Pokémon of all time, but it would have been cool if its evolution was my favorite.. you know?
Back when torracat was shown I was really hoping we'd get the fast fire/ground type that would be able to highlight its offensive ability (something that a slow, derpy lava camel can't). When they trolled players with a wrestler that barely avoided a lynching with the dark type, I was...not happy. I'm not quite as salty about it now, but I like decidueye better so I've just never used it when given the option.

Idc what anyone says, Incineroar's design goes hard
@Metaknighttheloneswordsman I agree! I technically chose Rowlet first, but Litten was definitely my favorite starter of the three!
@@angelbun-art I love Rowlet in the anime
@@Metaknighttheloneswordsman its cool + i love meowscarada so 😍
@@MetaknighttheloneswordsmanMan, same.
You’re really inspiring for how much you’ve improved through evident practice and hard work
Wow, I've always thought about something like this for Starter Pokemon, so it's cool to see you take a shot at it.
A sabretooth Incineroar also on all fours and Samurott be bipedal with a water/steel typing
such a dope concept. love all of these
I don’t usually comment much but I just had to say Crocolith is probably my favorite of the Pokémon you’ve designed 🔥 keep it up
I love Crocolith! I never thought about any different Feraligatr, but it looks super good, and could be a legends Arceus starter
Im actually in the middle of making a region with all three starters having split third evos. Each starter is like a self care kinda thing. Ie:love yourself, be confident, and dont be held back by your feelings.
For Crocolith, the ability Tough Claws would go great with it's lore too.
I love your take on Cinderace since that's arguably what my deepest dreams and desires could have hoped for Scorbunny to turn into ❤️
Think about these ideas:
Furniture as Pokemon
Musical Instruments as Pokemon
New types for Pokemon similar to Glastrier/Spectrier
Loooove Crocolith. Croconaw’s pelt colored patterns always felt so random.
I would LOVE to see a split evo for Blastoise! Even though I love Blastoise, I think see another evo that looks more like Warturtle would be EPIC!
Middle evolutions I would to see in a possible second version of this video :D
Quilava, Dewott, Servine and Floragato
This is such an innovative idea, I did think it would be interesting if their colors would the the shinies coloration of the og evos but this is overall so fun I love seeing your process
I love Comedeep’s eyes!!! Great job.
I love the natural progression through the starters evolutions
I definitely want to see more. Particularly a fully otter samurott, a quadrupedal emboar and incineroar, a more glyptodont-inspired chesnaut, and a less angular skeledirge.
I want a cuter final counterpart to samurott. What bothers me is that his face completely changed shape and doesn’t look at all like oshawott.
This may be one of the best concepts for a video I've seen from this channel yet! I'd be ecstatic for more in the future.
Graptor looks amazing, and I wish it actually existed. I'd love a part 2! How about split evolutions for Monferno, Prinplup, Servine, and Torracat? I never liked Inciniroar, and was always disappointed by it, so many a split evolution would make a better version?
I really want crocolith to be real just to see how many people would stop wanting Pokémon to exist. That thing is terrifying but so so cool
Before Rillaboom was revealed, I imagined Grooky's evolution to be a female-looking mix between a londonian guard and a majorette for some reason.
I tried to design it, but never came up with anything good. It'll be interesting if there's a part two to this video doing something like this.
The first half of this video feels like a personal attack! Primarina and Sceptile are some of my favorite fully evolved starters
Literally not a single bad design you've made here
a part 2 would be pretty cool
samurott and incineroar would be interesting as they kinda did the opposite in terms of legs
00:35 click here to start the video
I personally feel like the only chance we'd actually get to see split evolutions for starters is if the middle stages got regional variants. My favorite ideas like this I like to gravitate to is a Fire/Electric Charmeleon, a Water/Ice Prinplup, and a Grass/Rock Thwakey, each of which getting a new evolution.
Wow Crocolith was badass
You absolutely fixed the Popplio line. Maybe your best ever design.
How can you fix something that was already perfect?
I would love to see a Dartrix evolution where it keeps its fancy design and motifs. Perhaps it keeps the flying type or changes to something which further emphasises the more elegant evolution.
Finally my boy Grovyle got the raptor look thanks for this
I mean, since Legends Arceus showed us regional forms of existing starters, the chance for other starters to receive the same treatment is most certainly on the table.
Love Emberush! I didn't jive with any of the final stage Gen 8 starters, but I really like this design. Electric Surge might be too overpowered of an ability though xD
Idea!
Charmander is based on the fact that salamanders are associated with fire, but it ends up turning into a dragon? Maybe a deep red salamander low to the ground could remedy this
PLEASE MAKE A PART TWO I WOULD BE SO HAPPY! Anyways i love these evolution's crocolith especially but the other two were amazing too
Great video!
I love this so much
If you're planning on making a part 2 I'd love to see a new take on intelion that keeps it more grounded (as in not standing on 2 with a straight back lol)
Graptor: 🍀🐲
Comedeep: 💦🌑
Emberush: 🔥⚡️
Bro, you outdid yourself here. I'd love to see more of these.
Emberush's signature move lightning ball is already a move. Electro ball. It does more damage the faster you are than your opponent.
Great video concept! It'd be nice to see a side by side of the new and old final evolutions.
I'd also love to see Incenaroar in the next video.
Love the new popplio evolution, i have always wondered how a male version of primarina would look like and you did it perfect,
That’s what I was gonna say! It was really amazing, i wish it was a real Pokémon
Primarina are like 85% male...
@@Jarino507 i know and thats kinda wierd when you think about it lol
@@cesarp.3035 Not really. People get so hung up on gender norms. They're magical animals, it's not like they have to adhere to that.
@@Jarino507Why are you taking this so seriously 😭 the original commentor was just having fun 😅
I like the split cinderace evo. As someone who genuinely hates cinderace.
Comedeep is sick.
Crocolith goes crazy. Love that design so much
Comedeep looks so cool, definitely my favorite of the split evolutions 👍🏻💙
I used to think my life was a Tragedeep, now I know it's a Comedeep
Not the name Comedeep 😭😭😭
😂😂😂
This is cool. I've actually done something similar for the starters in my fakemon region, except the split comes from the base form, you can either evolve the starters by level up like normal, or give the base form a particular item to get a different set of evolutions.
Rilaboom needed to be Grass/Rock
Primarina is peak starter design love her 🥺
I love Crocolith, it’s like a combination of Feraligatr and Ursaluna!
I love your videos keep up the good work
As a huge fan of og Popolio line Comedeep looks very cool! I still love Primerina but this looks awsome too!
These are so cool!!! I would love to see a Venusaur one
Comedeep it’s definitely my favorite split evolution. And it’s shiny it’s really cool! Great vid 🎉❤
I think you missed an opportunity when you named the ability liquid laugh rather than bubbly laugh
Holy crap I want crocolith to be real so freaking bad!❤
You need to do all the fire starters that went from 4 legs to 2 legs
I really like the Scorbunny split evolution
While I agree Feraligatr doesn't need a redesign, Crocolith looks phenomenal.
And pretty much all of these new designs look neat. Especially the sad clow seal pokemon. I really hate the original, but I like the one you created quite a lot.
I loveeee all of these final evolutions. I was wondering if you could do a part 2 to this video and add a split evolution to Fucoco's final evo. I liked the bird motif in the evolution line, and I think it should've been expended upon more. Plus, I really hate the final evolution of Fucoco lol
I would want split evolution for the starters Pokémon will be wonderful idea upcoming future.
Here are some some idea for Starter Pokémon's:
-Split evolution for Bayleef where it gets the Fairy type became Grass/Fairy. I'll called it, Kimeganium
(Kimono+Mega+Geranium.)
New Hidden Ability: Fairy Healing
New Signature Move: Blossom Burst(Grass version of Flame Burst)
PP:15
Power:90
Accuracy: 100%
-Split evolution for Drizzle where it gets the Ghost Type became Water/Ghost. It goes transparent in water and I'll called it, Reaptile.
(Grim reaper+ Reptile)
Hidden Ability: Swim Swift
New Signature Move: Aqua Slash( Water version of Leaf Blade)
PP: 15
Power: 90
Accuracy:100
-Split Evolution for Prinplup where it gets the Ice Type became Water/Ice. It's a penguin lives in frozen environment make no sense why Emploen became a Water/Steel Type Steel has no effect against a fighting wouldn't good type triangle. I'll called it,
Sphenicle
( Spheniscidae scientific class for penguins+ Icicles)
Hidden Ability: Ice Body
New Signature Move: Ice Wing
PP:10
Power: 80
Accuracy:75
-Split Evolution for Thwackey where gets Rock Type became Grass/Rock. Thinking Grass/Dark but, too many Grass/Dark Pokémon. Just like based on Punks listened to Rock Music Theme! I'll called it, Gorrthym
(Gorilla+ Rhythm)
Hidden Ability: Grassy Surge
New Signature Move: Jungle Beat
PP: 15
Power:100
Accuracy: 100
-Split evolution for Servine where gets Poison became Grass/Poison. I'll called it, Pythorness
(Python+Thorn+Empress)
Hidden Ability: Sap Sipper
New Signature Move: Toxic Beam( Poison version of Charge Beam)
PP:10
Power:95
Accuracy:100
Amazing as always

Emberush and Crocolith are ridiculously good looking
How about inteleon but an assassin that uses daggers instead of a sniper and keeping a bit of that emo vibe that drizzile has
Love Crocolith, would be sweet if we got something like that for the hopefully evetual Legends Kyurem, rock typing obviously brings fossil pokemon to mind
Man i wanna see more of these , especially for Charizard and Blastoise
Crocolith looks SO good. I never really cared for the Totodile line besides Totodile himself.
Torracat is my favorite Pokémon of all time, but it would have been cool if its evolution was my favorite.. you know?
Also yeah I mainly hated Incineroar because he stood up when its previous forms were on all fours.
@@gidiotIt's not necessarily that Incineroar stood up that I'm not a fan, more just because it looks really goofy.
